having a full bath, plus half bath on first floor. Beautifully furnished in Adirondack furnishings. Full kitchen with granite countertops, double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator, glass cooktop stove, washer/dryer, microwave, and central air conditioning.
Fireplace. WI-Fi. Cable with large HDTV in living room, and TV in both bedrooms. Porch furnished with
Adirondack chairs, table, umbrella and six chairs.

This home is a short walk to Mirror Lake, Lake Placid and the town of Lake Placid. It is cozy and quiet, but at the same time, there’s plenty of room to spread out, making it very comfortable. We enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking the trees with a partial view of the lake and sleeping with the windows open listening to the rain. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Raccoon 3 and plan to return. It’s fabulous location for Ironman racers - close to everything, I was even able to come back to the condo before the race started.

We loved the location of this condo. It is a short walk to town and beautiful Mirror Lake. The owners take special care to provide everything a renter might nAdirondack Lake Cabin. Beautiful rugs, rustic authentic furniture and very clean throughout. Only slight drawback was the TV s use ROKU and it is a bit hard to learn. The owner, Peggy is very responsive and helpful with everything.

We had a wonderful vacation at Mirror Lake. The rental was within walking distance of a beach, shops and great restaurants. We also visited the Olympic sites and did some hiking. The rental was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

The property turned out to be even better than the description. There are two bedrooms, but it is actually two separate suites. There are separate areas: bedroom (with TV and sitting area), full bath (each with a wonderful shower), alcove with a desk and a full walk-in closet. The kitchen is very well equipped with high-end appliances. The laundry has full washer and dryer. The condo is an easy walk to the village, the lakes, golf course and near a couple of trails.

The property was clean, comfortable and in order. The location of the property is excellent for all your activities. The center of town is an easy walk from the property. Even though the location is close to town it is private and quiet. We will definitely consider this location for our next visit to the Lake Placid area.

Had a great week at Raccoon 3 hosted by Peggy. GREAT condo with professional appliances and everything we needed. Super comfy beds, lots of room and great location. Hosts were great to deal with. We accidentally stained a carpet and the hosts asked for a payment with the promise of a refund if the cost came in lower. Sure enough, they stuck to their word and a significant refund was processed within 3 days. Can't wait to go back.

Raccoon 3 is a great place to stay. It’s close to everything, yet is secluded so you don’t get the noise from the village. The condo is very clean and well stocked. We love staying here.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. Peggy was helpful and flexible and check in was easy and smooth. The place looks even better in person than in the photos! Very spacious, we enjoyed having a full kitchen and cooked a lot. Loved having breakfast on the balcony. It was very private and quiet which is what we wanted and appreciated. Two full bathtubs made it easy to get ready. Felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. So grateful to have stayed here. Thanks Peggy so much, we had a really special beautiful time and so grateful to rent this place.

One of our best VRBO experiences! The home was very clean. Kitchen was well outfitted with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Great location on the quiet side of Mirror Lake, but could quickly and easily get to other side when we wanted. Peggy was great to work with! Thank you for sharing your place with us!!

For ten years, our family has been vacationing in the Adirondacks/lake placid. We have enjoyed many vacation places, but Racoon 3 will be one of our favorites. The location, proximity to town, special furnishings, layout, and north country atmosphere enabled us to savor our time there with a feeling of relaxation and enjoyment. Every area was extremely clean and we felt so comfortable at all hours of the day/night. This is a perfect place!

This townhouse is a lovely home away from home. It’s very comfortable and quiet, even when all of the units are full. We stayed here while my partner participated in his second Ironman. The condo is so close to the course, we could sit in one location and see him multiple times. It’s so close to town and the Olympic oval, we were able to park our car when we arrived, and didn’t move it until we left. We were so pleased, we booked the unit again for next year!

Great stay in the heart of the high peaks region of the Adirondacks. The condo is very comfortable and the location is ideal. It is on the quiet side of Mirror Lake, easy into town for restaurants or a quick drive out of town to get to trails. Peggy is available and responsive to any messages. Highly recommend.

Great home in perfect location to everything

Our stay over Presidents weekend 2018 was great and this home was one of the reasons. The house was perfect with plenty of room for four adults. The decorations were perfect for our Adirondack ski vacation and we enjoyed watching the Olympics in front of the fire after an afternoon of outdoor winter activities. It was well equipped with everything we needed to cook a few meals in and close enough to the walk or drive to town to enjoy the restaurants and shopping there. I would definitely recommend this home and consider it for our next trip with 4 people. Thank you Peggy and Fred for sharing your home.

We felt so welcome! Upon arriving we found a welcome note from Peggy, she had graciously let us a snack (so appreciated after our long drive) and had prepared the fire place so it was ready for us to light a fire. We felt so cozy with the Adironack decor and spacious home. Even though we were in town for the Ironman 70.3, the home was so quie and beds were comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere from the home. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Stayed here over the long 4th of July weekend, and it was the perfect size place for my wife and I and our two adult children. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed with Adirondack style décor everywhere you look. Walking distance to Mirror Lake beach area and town of Lake Placid with lots of restaurants, shopping and the Olympic museum. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely, well appointed, comfortable condo. We lacked nothing! We were in walking distance to town, nearby restaurants and beautiful scenery. We thank the owners for making this trip special. If you just wanted a quiet retreat the condo is the perfect setting. Quiet, with an easy to work fireplace and tv's everywhere you need one. We highly recommend this perfect getaway!
