Hualalai Hale is your personal resort home located in the exclusive Hualalai Resort, Hawaii on the Big Island. Offering four beautifully decorated bedroom suites, each with their own bath, this single-story grand residence on 1.5 acres is an oasis of privacy and luxurious open space. This family-friendly home is nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac with an expansive private grass yard, circular driveway, views of the Pacific Ocean and stunning sunset views. The home is located within the gated resort community of the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai with easy access to all resort amenities, golf courses and beaches.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Hualalai Hale in July and early August 2024. There were seven of us total, including five children, the youngest of whom were three.
This house was perfect for us. It is better than advertised. There were days we didn’t leave the property because having both a large pool (with plenty of toys) and hot tub with an expansive yard was enough and the kids were able to play all day. The pool is shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon which is also nice.
Having access to the Four Seasons amenities was an added plus, we were easily able to drive the house’s golf carts to their pools and beaches. We also ate at FS’s restaurants several times and attended a luau on property. It’s worth noting you can also use FS’s concierge to arrange activities, which we did and were happy with.
Masa, the house manager was incredibly responsive and check-in was a breeze. I cannot recommend this house enough. Also, they give you ample towels, I hate it when I go to beach houses and there aren’t enough towels. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This house is amazing & idillic. We (two families with 5 total kids ages 1-7) had a wonderful stay. The house is amazing & the house manager, Masa, is responsive and very helpful.
We had two hiccups though:
1.) there are thorn bushes surrounding the backyard and they were freshly trimmed/weed wacked leaving 1-2 inch long super sharp prickers all over the yard. My daughter had to prickers pierce deep into her foot. The yard is a huge draw but not if you can’t be barefoot and have to watch out for dangerous thorns.
2.) our checkout time was 11am but the cleaners came at 9:30am and made packing to catch our flight much more difficult than it needed to be.
If these 2 things can be fixed I would come back to this exact property many more times!

This was our 7th time. Clearly we enjoy the home! It is beautiful, private and comfortable. We like the privacy, of having a pool to ourselves. The golf carts are a big plus. The bedrooms are all en suites with full bathrooms. And the outdoor showers are awesome! Once again, a great trip.

This was our third time staying at Hualalai and this house was by far our favorite! The host, Jamie, was responsive and welcoming, and the house itself was just perfect for my family of five; beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, well stocked, clean, spacious, perfectly located etc. We easily got around the resort, using the golf carts as our main mode of transportation. The yard is also huge and lovely, and we spent a lot of time relaxing and lounging by the pool when we weren’t at the resort. The concierge was also super helpful and responsive. All in all, a perfect vacation spot! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us for a week, Jamie!

We throughly enjoyed the space of this home. Cooking in the kitchen “ almost” every meal for 8 days, fantastic! The pool, hot tub and yard were beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed. Seating was ample in both dining and living room. Jamie the homeowner was extremely prompt with any of my questions. Masa, property manager was prompt as well. We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property. This was our 5th visit to Hualalai (our favorite resort), and this home was by far the best we’ve stayed at. We used the pool and spa daily, and even set up a croquet course on their huge yard! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the cooking gear anyone would need, allowing us to cook/eat at home most nights. The open floor plan — with kitchen, dining room, living/family room occupying an enormous uninterrupted space (with 20’+ ceilings) — was very conducive to family togetheness.

The hose is amazing. It is better than expected. Thank you to the owner for sharing your beautiful home and having all the amenities available for your guests to use. We enjoy cooking and mixing cocktails so your home was perfectly equipped. Beds were so comfortable. Pool and patio ad great seating for lounging and dining for 6+ people. Loved all the outdoor sowers! Loved that you had vases so we could have beautiful flowers out all week. Mahalo!

Hale Hualalai is our favorite Hawaiian experience ever! We have been to many places over many years and this is the best. The combo of an amazing house and acreage to give everyone their own spaces and allow for various teen only, adult only and all family experiences was a highlight (we had 2 families with 4 teenagers and tons of space for everyone). We loved the resort access amenities, but frankly the house was so amazing and private that we and the kids rarely ventured to the resort other than for workouts, a spa and one dinner out. The home is fully stocked so easy to cook and the pagoda where we ate dinner very night was amazing setting and ambience (where again we didn’t even want to be at a restaurant vs the private experience with the family dinners). Everything about the place and the experience was best-in-class! Mahalo!

We own a home in Hualalai and always have to rent another Villa or house during school vacations to accommodate our very large family. This house is top notch. The house it self is WAYYYY better than the pictures. We were at the resort for a wedding and had visited multiple other properties and our house was by far the best. Location, big back yard, lot size, views and spacious living area. I would 100% recommend this house if i knew anyone traveling to hawaii. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hualalai Hale celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. The house was beautiful and we had plenty of space for us and our adult children . We enjoyed the privacy of the private pool and loved dining alfresco under the gazebo. The property manager was wonderful to work with and we appreciated all their recommendations including getting a private chef, which I would highly recommend. We loved walking the beach path in the mornings to get coffee at the market at the Four Seasons and the golf cart came in handy when enjoying a day at the beach. We would definitely book this house again when staying in Kona area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful—very private and quite large. The four bedrooms are good-sized and the overall house is well designed for hanging out. The lanai area is amazing, and the windows on two sides of the family room push into the walls, which allows the family room and dining room to become part of the pool area. The pool itself is nice, but the design is a bit quirky (right up against the house, which might be an issue for small children) and some recent shoddy patchwork on the spa really stands out. Overall, however, would definitely stay here again.
One item of concern is how the resort handles house guests. Even when paying the crazy Four Seasons resort fees (which we did), you cannot get chairs near the hotel pool for most of the summer, and good luck getting any chairs at all if you arrrive after 9 am. The Four Seasons really needs to better in that regard.

This was our first time staying in a vrbo and we were thrilled! The house is perfect! We loved the everything about it and is much better in person than the photos if thats possible. My husband and I celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary with our 3 adult children and their significant others and staying here was the best choice. The property is beautiful and the house is spacious with everything you want for a great vacation. The four seasons is a short ride and we were able to enjoy the facilities as well as a dinner under the stars on the beach and a luau. As a family that stays at four season, I did have to adjust my expectations of the concierge as they are specific to the property owners and not the same as the hotel, I had to do a lot of my own planning. We enjoyed some really incredible meals at Merrimans and Canoe House which I highly recommend and had Dan and Claire(Island Thyme Gourmet) prepare 2 meals for us which were out of this world, they are so talented and just the nicest people! It was so lovely eating outside in the pavilion, relaxing and enjoying a freshly prepared dinner with local farm fresh ingredients. We were able to do a full day tour of the volcano one day, ziplining and enjoyed a private boat where we snorkeled. Of course there was golfing and beach time as well as paddle boarding. There is so much to do but also so great to come back to a home that we were settled in and each enjoying our own space. I did rent a second golf cart given the number of people to give us flexibility and that was really helpful. Our interactions with the house manager were limited as everything ran smoothly but when I did reach out I always received a prompt and helpful response.
This was truly a fantastic vacation and we hope to be back soon!
