Loved the property, its facilities, location and the host. Totally as beautiful instead more than you see in the pictures. Literally 15 steps away from a beautiful clean part of Dania beach.
Safe neighborhood, perfect go stay with a. Young family. Fully equipped kitchen. The host was available on text and weee very nice and warm each time. Can it say enough, we loved every moment there. Thank you Brian for being a wonderful host and keeping the place with so much love. Will make sure we visit again. Cheers!

The outdoor space is what sucked me in, it feels like a secluded garden - I was out there a lot! My teens and I stayed for 5 days and it was perfect. The apartment is clean, cute, comfortable and well furnished. I appreciated the snacks and drinks stocked in the fridge - so nice when just getting into town. The beach is an easy walk, lovely and not crowded. The ability to take the bikes to the Broadwalk is such a great amenity. Brian and Aleyda were available and gracious. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I hope to come back!

The room was perfect my daughters and me. Brian and his wife were some welcoming. There was food and drinks waiting for us upon arrival. Highly recommend if you’re in this area. Skip the broad walk though as its really gone down hill sadly. Very thankful for our time here.

This is one of those properties that you want to keep hidden for yourself so the next time you want to book it, it's there for you.
The hosts Brian & Aleyda are on top of everything and very helpful and hospitable.
The property and atmosphere is as relaxing and laid back as it looks. Great outside space right in the courtyard.
Sunrises and the beach are steps away and all the niceties are provided.
We enjoyed all that this property had to offer and the location was so much nicer then being in the hustle and bustle, yet close enough if you wanted to go there.
We'll be visiting again because we really felt like we had a vacation!

We loved everything about the property. It was in a great location, very private and quiet. We felt like every restaurant was within walking distance. There were grocery stores that delivered, and were very quick to do so, nearby. The beach was the shortest walk and everything we needed to relax on vacation was provided and at the property. Brian and Aleyda are tremendous hosts and very easy to communicate with. We had issues with our flights being delayed and/or canceled and they were very helpful with the check in process. It made a very stressful day a little easier and allowed us to enjoy the rest of the week unbothered by any issues because they had everything. 5 stars

Fantastic Beach Stay
Our 8 day stay was perfect. The house was plenty big enough for 3 to sleep and friends to visit. Outside was a tropical paradise. We loved the bikes and the ease of getting to the nearby boardwalk and pier. Having the beach just steps away made a great start to the day! The kitchen was set up for cooking but this was my first ever vacation not turning on the stove! I was so happy all of the restaurants were close by for everyone to have a choice. Coming from SC I wanted to pack light. Having chairs already on hand made our trip so easy! I give this villa 5 stars and would definitely visit again! The owners are amazing and made sure we were taken care of all week! Dania Beach is a must⭐️

Lovely location
So much better than large, people filled hotels. Feels like you can really experience the natural flora of Florida even though the glitz and concrete are not that far away. It’s like an oasis, with any other items you need (groc,restaurants) right nearby. Wonderful hosts too.

Lovely stay
My husband and I stayed for 15 nights. Brian and Aleyda were gracious and responsive hosts. The apartment was wonderful, with a gift basket of snacks, a bottle of wine, coffee, soda, and everything we needed to start our vacation.
The shared space outside was inviting and allowed our work obligations to be pleasantly satisfied.
We enjoyed the local restaurants on the boardwalk as well as the tiki tiki.

Just Fantastic . . .
We stay in vacation rentals about 4 times per year. This place is one of the best kept secrets that we have ever run across. Having lived in Dania for almost a decade (mind you it was a while ago), we planned a return trip. This place exceeded everything that we knew about the area. The hosts were FANTASTIC from start to finish. The property was a perfect depiction of the Hollywood/Dania Beach area. It had everything that we needed from the kitchen (they even left a couple of beers and bottle of wine in the fridge) to the bedroom. Even the uncrowded beach was only 100 steps away and the property had chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, whatever was needed. I honestly cannot say enough about this place and if we are ever returning to the area, this is the one that we will go out of our way to look up. Thanks for the great long weekend!

Quiet Stay in Paradise!
Me and my husband stayed at apartment #5 last month. We flew into FLL airport and this property was about a 15 minute drive from the airport (we rented a car). The North Beach part of Hollywood is a lot more peaceful and more private than the Broadwalk. But, the Broadwalk is just a short drive away or 10-15 min bike ride away. Brian and Aleyda are fantastic hosts! Communication was great - they let us know our apartment was unlocked with the keys on the counter. We had a bowl full of an assorted snacks waiting for us. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and a nice bottle of white wine, which was refreshing after a day of traveling. Brian also met us on our first day, while we relaxed in the beautiful gardens on the property. He stopped by to introduce himself and even brought us a bowl of fresh fruit and coffee cake. Owners definitely go above and beyond to make sure the guests and property are taken care of. We saw them daily tending to the property and taking care of the gardens. We loved that beach equipment was provided. They provide beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards to name a few. Bikes are also available to borrow. Me and my husband enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise.... the beach is only about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. We loved our stay so much, that we are returning in about six months!

Totally worth it
Location is amazing! A quiet slice of old Florida. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount and quality of welcome basket food and drinks ( we thought we were in an occupied apartment, there was so much!) Everything is provided for your beach stay. Only reason I gave less stars for communication, is we called upon arrival but didn’t get in touch with owners. We didn’t hear from them during our stay, (not that we needed them for anything) and it was Memorial Day weekend so they may have gone for their own vacation. No big deal. We lived it and would go again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding!
We loved our stay. Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor space full of trees and plants with several seating areas to relax in the shade. We even made use of the grill on one evening. Brian and Aleyda are fantastic hosts, both friendly and engaging and laid back. We loved being able to borrow bikes and ride along the shore. They also supply boogie boards and beach chairs for taking to the water. And it's only a few minutes from the FLL airport. Hollywood is a couple of miles south if you're looking for a wide range of restaurants, bars, and stores. But this part of North Beach is quiet and peaceful, just far enough away from the noise yet not remote. And the beach and the water are super clean. We loved every aspect of this stay and look forward to visiting again!

Overall good property, great service and communication. Location is close to beach and beach was quiet and not crowded. Not convenient to beach bars, food, etc which is further south. Bikes were available, which was great. Property is small, but otherwise delivered as advertised.

Perfect! Brian and Aleyda thought of everything. Both the inside and outside spaces were lovely - the whole property felt like a vacation. Just a short, short walk to the beach. Great bikes to ride down the boardwalk. We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I wanted to avoid the crowd because of the pandemic. We wanted to stay near the beach and we picked this property which is couple of min walk from the beach. Very quiet beach and off course it was safe. My kids loved the property, i would say very cozy apartment. The garden itself is a place where i could spend my days. It's beautiful garden with private patios, hammock, etc. Owners kept sufficient beach accessories for the guests. Owners were very friendly and nice. They provided everything in advance what we could have asked for. They followed up with us if we need anything additional. It was perfect for our small family. We already decided that we will book the same property in our next vacation in Florida. We really spent good times at the property that we will remember.

This property is amazing. We stayed in Unit 1. It was small but there were only 2 of us so it was perfect size. The kitchen was large enough to make breakfast every morning before venturing out and our hosts left us a large selection of snacks, a bottle of wine (we don't drink, but I loved the thought behind it and there was sparkling water too!) and a couple of large bottles of water. It was nicely stocked with pots and pans, although it lacked a cooking sheet for the oven (solved that problem with a cheap box of tinfoil from the local Target). Probably due to covid, there are no spices for cooking, but there are numerous grocery stores to purchase such items - or you could do what we did, which is grab a couple extra salt and pepper packets from the burger joint where you have lunch! The bedroom was comfy and the bathroom was clean and had a nice selection of soaps. The only negative I can think of is the hair dryer was a small travel sized dryer that was never going to dry my daughter's thick south american mane of hair :) And for travelers like me who look at pictures and read reviews, but don't always read all the property descriptions, there is a washer and dryer but it is not in the unit. Its around the back. Washer is free, dryer takes quarters that the owner was happy to supply. Speaking of, I had several conversations with both Brian and Aleyda. They are very nice and engaging and obviously care a great deal about their property. They answered all my questions, responded to messages quickly, and gave us some great ideas of things to do in the area. I also enjoyed meeting and talking to their son "Anakin". For guests who prefer their privacy, rest assured that Aleyda intervened to protect mine, but I was enjoying the conversation so I let him keep talking. He's a Star Wars fan. If you rent this property, ask him who Luke's father is and then sit back and enjoy. He's a great conversationalist.The garden is GORGEOUS and I spent my quiet time with God in the cabana every morning. The beach is short walk away, very clean and private. The boisterous boardwalk is a short drive away (although parking is a nightmare) and there are bikes to use on the property. Skip the Tiki Restaurant across the street. It is overpriced for mediocre food. There are couple of really good mexican joints on the boardwalk for dinner instead.We loved this property. We would definitely use it again if we ever returned to North Hollywood.

The property is a 1 minute walk to the beach and right off the boardwalk which allows for miles of cycling to parks, restaurants and stores. The one BR apartment is perfect for two. The award winning garden is a spectacular. Couldn't recommend the property more highly.

A little oasis right next to the beach
Our stay here as a family with two little ones was beyond our imagination. The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and communicative. It was super kid friend with plenty of toys and space for the kids to play. There’s a lot of different lounge spots outside that are super comfortable. The apartment was tidy and well stocked with essentials and cookware. Also, they have plenty of gear for hitting the beach all day properly. We couldn’t have asked for me and we thank the hosts tremendously.

We had a great relaxing stay at Desoto Beach House! The owners take great pride in creating a beautiful outdoor space with comfy outdoor sofas, a hammock and 2 eating areas, surrounded by exotic plants. Ample beach chairs, bikes and beach gear are provided and make enjoying the Hollywood boardwalk and beach fun! Brian and Aleyda were wonderful hosts and treat all of their guests like friends!! Beach vacation
We loved our 1 bedroom
Apt. So very close to the beach. The apt. Had everything you would need to cook in the kitchen. Bathroom was small but good size with a great shower. The bedroom was a good size The ceiling fans were great. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch and she was comfortable. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Outside garden area was a very nice place to have coffee or at the end of the day wine. The beach was about a 2 minute maybe less. You could see the ocean steps off property. The beach bikes were great way to get around we - biked to the board walk everyday near margaritaville and tons of great restaurants along the way. Biked to the pier as well. Very safe and relaxing place. Brian & Aly were wonderfully nice people. We had a medical emergency with our daughter and they were very very helpful with that situation. We hope to be back again soon.

Vacation 2019
Great little place. We have been visiting Hollywood for many years and chose this place because we wanted to be away from the noise. Although it is a great location and close to the beach we found it to be a noisy place. We stayed in Apartment 1 and we both thought it sounded like the people upstairs were moving furniture... all the time! The owners seem to be very nice people but when we are on vacation we don’t need to see them every day. The other amenities were nice too but we won’t be staying here again.

Sweet little place!
We loved staying here! Quite and steps away from the beach, Just what we like! The owners are so nice and ready to help in any way. They left snacks, coffee and beverages in the fridge. Beach chairs, umbrellas and bicycles are available for loan. This was all great since we traveled by plane. We wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again!

AMAZING!
We arrived on Christmas Day (evening) to a fresh apple pie and bottle of Merlot, but not before noticing the quaint details of holiday decor surrounding the property. Twinkly lights, wreaths, simple signs of the love and care that speak of the devoted owners. With the beach being feet away and an amazing walking/running trail to the Broadwalk, this location was all we hoped it would be! My husband and I settled in perfectly to the space and loved how unique and organized it was maintained. Everything had a place, which we both appreciate! We can’t wait to return!
