Perfect week for the 12 of us...the house was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival. Check in with ease and all communication with the owner was met with a quick response. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the house, it was really beautiful! Excellent location. Everything was wonderful. The size was perfect as we had a large group. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and a nice washer and dryer. We had 10 women and never ran out of hot water for the showers. The view is beautiful and watching the sunrise on the lake was huge bonus. Would love to be there when the weather is a little warmer.

This was a threat fit for our family. We enjoyed the house as well as the lake views. The stairs was a challenge but we survived 😊we learned how out of shape we were. Definitely recommend!

I stayed here 6 years ago for a bachelorette, and the house was honestly bigger and better than I remember. Everyone had plenty of space. Plenty of fridges. We had perfect weather, so we used the water toys every day. I didn’t remember the stairs to the dock (that were a great source of exercise). Everything was great. We also rented from his lake toy inventory and no regrets.

The family enjoyed our stay but we did have issues that I should have considered beforehand. The house is 5 levels and sits up on the side of a mountain. To get from the main level to the wonderful footing dock is 117 steps. So it is not for people who have mobility issues or for families with small children. The kitchen is very well stocked so you will not have any issues cooking whatever you want. There was an issue of the BBQ grill outside deck main level. Cooking on it PV frate huge flames because the top did not fully close so we burnt our meal one night and didn’t use it again. The main levek deck was our family’s favorite. The living room on the main level was huge and quite comfortable for all. The top master bedroom has a serious air conditioning issue where it would cut off after 2 hours. Handyman came with NO TOOLS and didn’t fix it. Many of the light fixtures were burned out. Limiting a guest to a small amount of garbage in a large house was really far fetch. We had to be creative in our waste products. The location is relatively close to Dawsonville where nothing you need will be found. Dahlonega is a short trip as well as Helen. We had a hard time finding a real beach where the little ones could get in. One feels like you are deep in the mountains at the top of the tall trees. Next family vacation I will be more diligent about steps and how far it is to the water.it just wasn’t the right house for us but for adults and teens , it would be great.

Great House for a group. Plenty of gathering space for everyone both inside and out. The views over the water were great this time of year and I can imagine having lots of fun out there in the summer. Thanks for sharing it with us.

We had the best family vacation at this house. Perfect for our large group. They did have lots of levels in the house and many stairs to the dock. Our 83 year old mother was still able to join us several of the days. We are hoping to stay again soon. Response time from owner was fantastic with questions.

This house was very accommodating for our family of 9. The large porches were a great gathering place. Quite a few steps to get to the boat dock, but once down there it was a very nice place to hang out, swim and dock our 26’ boat. Loved the use of the kyacks.

Family R&R
Great house with plenty of space for all. The stairs were a great way for all of us to get our daily workouts - so no complaints from us! Young adults enjoyed the pool and foosball tables, and all of us enjoyed the dock, the dock's sun deck provided the ladies a nice space for afternoon cocktails. House is in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, outlets, wineries and the towns of Dahlonega, Helen, and Babyland General in Cleveland for the littles to see the birthplace of the Cabbage Patch kids! Thank you Ray for a great 10 days!

Way too many steps
It is a beautiful place with 35 steps in the house and 80 Steps down to the dock. Unfortunately this was a was a little too much for some of the members of my party. The view of the lake is blocked by the trees. Nice location close to Helen Georgia And white water rafting.

Beautiful Spot on the lake
We really enjoyed our stay at this property, there is plenty of room for a large crowd with ample room to gather or for privacy. The area on the lake was beautiful with lots of scenic views. Owner was very responsive to any needs or issues we had. Weather was glorious!

Family Birthday trip
This is a beautiful property complete with everything you could possibly need. It is spread out over 4 floors so is perfect for those who would like to have adult areas and kid areas. It was so nice to have the 2 kayaks and a paddle board included with the rental of the house. I didn’t think we would be able to use them in April, but the weather was in the high 70s and the young adults managed to enjoy them without getting wet. We also rented a pontoon boat from Ray one day of our trip and enjoyed a beautiful day exploring the lake and also enjoyed being pulled behind the boat(once again without getting too wet). My husband had knee replacement surgery in December and my daughter has a stress fracture in her foot, so the stairs were a bit of a challenge, but we were able to drive to a public dock that had no stairs and get picked up by the boat from there. I had read the reviews, so I was aware of the 85 stairs to the dock. Going down was not so bad, but getting back up was a killer for those that were out of shape😬

Fantastic Lake Getaway
The home was honestly better than I expected! Very well equipped with anything we could possibly needed. We had 8 kids/teens & 6 adults. We had plenty of space to spread out for privacy, but also many different areas for us to all come together. Definitely somewhere I would recommend staying! There are a lot of stairs in the home, but with two good size bedrooms on the main floor, even those with physical limitations would have a place that was easily accessible. The owner was great in communicating with us before our arrival & during our stay.

New Year’s weekend
Great people to rent from. They went out of their way to get us a paddle for the paddle board, when we realized it was lost, so the kids could use it! Plenty of room for all 12 of us. We loved the pool and ping pong table. Driveway was very steep. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful Quiet Retreat
The Admiral's Mountain Lake Chalet was perfect for our group of 14. Ages ranged from 30 to 80 years old. The steps were a challenge for some, but we managed quite well as the younger ones helped the older ones. We were all here for a meeting on Sunday and an excursion to Brasstown Bald on Saturday so the location was perfect for us. Everything we needed was available as stated in the lease agreement so we had no problems cooking meals for the group or individual meals otherwise. Overall a great retreat place. The younger ones enjoyed the kayaks in our free time.

Great House Amenities & Alot of Bunk Space
Some of the highlights for our stay were the large deck which opened to the Family room on the main floor. Open Kitchen and large table for eating and family games. We used the dock. Kids really enjoyed the ping pong table and bunkbeds.
It rained while we were there the entire time so not able to leverage the boat we wanted to rent. However even being rained out house provided amble activities for us to take part in.

Weekend Get Away
Great location that is close to shopping and wineries. Right on Lake Lanier. There are a lot of stair to the dock, so you'll get a good cardio workout. :) Home is stocked with most cooking supplies you'll need.

Would do it again
First of all great house! Plenty of room for lots of guests. Was just the 6 of us so we each had our own floor to ourselves. Biggest critique at all would be the spider webs outside which is a product of where you are and can’t really be helped which we understand. Then the steps down to the dock from the house are steep and plentiful. Wouldn’t stop us again from staying expect if we had someone more handicapped in some way. They would never be able to get down there. Dock is also great! Floats and such to play with. Ray is a great communicator. Again, would stay here!

Perfect Multi family vacation!
This house had plenty of space for multiple families, 4 stories to be exact! And it was so nice being able to also rent the boat from the property manager, it was great having a boat on the dock the entire vacation. And Ray was very responsive! We will be back!

WONDERFUL PROPERTY
This house has it all, huge and extremely clean. the lake with dock was amazing and we loved spending almost a week there. Wanted to mention that the property is practically 6-stories and fits any anount of family with lots of room however, there's a steep/many steps to go down to teh lake/dock aea. We were all fit to be able to overcome that but people with dificulty walking steps should enquire firts, property managers seem very ckear and honest so they would be the best to discuss this with. we highly reccomned it, wonderful experience and we learned that he has several lake houses he rents out in diff areas so we will be coming to the others aswell. Thank you!

Five Days on Lake Lanier
Determining a Summer of 2020 location was difficult in light of the pandemic - at the time of our trip, the covid #s in GA were quite high. However, this property is extraordinarily private - yet only 10-12 minutes to shopping for essentials and more. We wanted exactly that as 2 of the 10 of us are in our 70's and not healthy, necessitating little contact with anyone outside the family. Lakefront views and general "peacefulness" were wonderful; the dock area & deep water offers much fun - we did not rent the owner's pontoon and should have but were able to get an almost new boat through Paradise Rentals - an amazing rental marina about 30 minutes away by car. However, anyone considering this property should consider carefully that there are approximately 85 steps down to the dock - some sections in good condition; others not so much or quite steep - once a day down and back is enough! The house interior is very spacious, light, open with good separation for guests. Because there are 2 bedrooms on the main level, it would have been nice to have had either a larger hall bath or each of those rooms to have had a basic bath of its own. The BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: one member of our party turned down his bed linen first night to see the sheets covered in human hair....not just a few but a disgusting amt; linens had to be washed/dryed before use!! The property is well "stocked" with pretty much anything one would need for a lakeside vacation. The owner offers assistance if needed and is prompt to respond.

GREAT Memorial Day weekend!
This is our second time staying in this house! Great location on the lake and only a few miles to grocery stores and tons of restaurants. I have college age children that always bring others in tow so the setup of the house was perfect. Multiple levels helped so each age group could have their own floor. We rented Ray's jet skis and boat and we had so much fun on the water. The area of the lake is calm compared to the main lake which makes it ideal for jet skiing and swimming. We grilled out several nights and ate dinner on the porch over looking the lake. Ray is always available if you have a need or a question.

Great relaxing escape
We recently stayed at this property to reset and escape some of the craziness going on. The views of the house were beautiful. 4 beautiful decks with amazing views. Very relaxing. The house was very nice with lots of room for everyone. Because the house is at the top of a hill, allowing for the great views, there are a lot of steps to get down to the lake, but worth the trip once you get down there. There is a great boat dock with a sundeck on top where we played games and enjoyed the evening sunsets on this quite cove. Ray, the owner, was very responsive through out the stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Great property and would stay there again!
