We were pleased, what we saw in the listing is what we got. The home is well designed, built, equipped and maintained. The main & guest house layout worked for our group of 8 adults & 4 children under 4, with dining for all in the main house. Great internet. It’s a full time rental - comfortable furniture & beds, all closets and drawers clear for renters, nice linens & towels, good consumables, professional cleaning, and plenty of trash & recycling capacity. The kitchens included all types of cooking gear needed for a week of meals and more glasses, cups, plates, bowls, cutlery and various serving pieces than we used in a day. Bedrooms were spacious with room for pack-n-plays, luggage, etc. Good instructions received in advance and at the property provided all we needed, and the owner responded reasonably promptly to our few inquiries.
We didn’t know the location prior to arrival. We liked being near downtown but far enough away to avoid the crowds & traffic. This was one of the nicer homes on a quiet street with a mix of vacation homes and full-time residents/rentals including two 4-unit apartments. We felt safe during our stay. We didn't realize homes were on cliffs above the large beach; stairs a short walk away provided access. H101 freeway noise is a detraction at quiet times. If you're a light sleeper bring a white noise machine. With August weather (cool am/pm & warm afternoons) we were fine with no AC. For kids, a wonderful park nearby. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We had such a wonderful stay! My cousins and I gather on a semi-regular basis for “Cousinpalooza,” which also includes the cousins’ children. This was simply the perfect space for all of us. There were plenty of very comfortable bedrooms, and I loved the main floor kitchen and living room, which was one long, uninterrupted space, making it great for socializing. We also had lots of fun with the games (Friends trivia and 90s trivia).
Although there is no real yard, the kids all loved running around outside on the long driveway playing some kind of made up game. We did frequently use the space in the front of the house, which is larger and more comfortable than it looks in the pictures.
There were a few small things that needed repair, but the emergency maintenance team (for a leaking fridge) was very fast to respond. I also gave feedback on what was broken so that they would have the opportunity to fix those things for future guests (they were all minor), and Laurie was very responsive to them.
Although it’s closer to the freeway, we were not bothered at all by the noise. Overall, the location is great with easy access to local beaches (we went to Shell Beach, about a 10 to 15 minute drive away).
Note, I am disabled and use a walker, and being on the first floor was extremely comfortable and accessible to me.
We would definitely stay here again! Laurie was also very accommodating to our group and I very much appreciate her flexibility.

Really enjoyed our beach stay at this property. It was a great location, able to walk to the beach in a few minutes and also the pier is super close. The house is very spacious, but had a couple small issues. Overall great trip and was family friendly.

This was a great property, with very easy access to beach. Rainy weather was the only downside to the whole vacation but we made the best of it and this property helped. Lots of space and very comfortable beds.

This house was so perfect for our family vacation. The front house is better than the pictures and description. We used the back house only for sleeping and it was very comfortable and clean.
In the front main house we used the kitchen for almost every meal. It is well stocked and everything worked well.
The living area is open and roomy.
The beds are comfortable. There were plenty of towels and linens and blankets.
We did not use any of the beach gear in the garage so I don't know anything about that.
The road noise is a bit loud but we were in the bedroom closest to the highway and opened our window at night, so we expected that.
The property was very clean and comfortable.
We hope to stay here again.

We had an absolutely fantastic time in the house. There were 10 of us, and still had extra beds. Everything was perfectly set up and very clean! All the rooms were spacious. The location by the beach was awesome.
Just a note to the owner: It took us a while to figure out the thermostat was on the 2nd floor. Just mention this in your email to future renters.
Would highly recommend this place to future tenants!

We have a total of nine family members (ages 78-13) and this place was PERFECT! Just the right amount of bedrooms and baths. The living room , dining and kitchen perfect for gathering. We had a few hiccups, but they were taken care or immediately. The beach and town were well within walking distance.
Should the family decide to "beach" together again this will be our #1 choice!

Our family(extended) just stayed in this great guest space located in Pismo Beach. Main house and second guest house were amazing and had plenty of room for everyone(10 of us). The was a large family gathering/eating area with a nice large fully stocked kitchen that was great for making breakfast or grilling our freshly caught fish! The house was clean and well stocked with the necessities, the beds were VERY comfy, washer and dryer were nice to have. There were TV's in each room and lots of bathrooms to go around, there was a total of 4 showers between the two houses and a couple of half baths. We did not have any problem parking at the property. The beach is within walking distance, the pier is also within walking distance but we drove as we had a few older members of our family with us. This property is perfect for us and really allowed our whole family to hang out, play games and adventure around the central coast. We definitely want to book again next year!! Thanks for having a space were we could make great memories this summer. P.S. Just for note: There is only one bedroom with a king bed on the first floor, the others are upstairs, so the grandparents in our party had the main floor bedroom, the rest in our party were able to go up and down the stairs without a problem. Not a draw back for us but a good thing to know ahead of time if you have people in your party who can not do stairs.

11 of us gals ranging in age from 66 to 83 had a great time. Some of the more fit and mobile enjoyed walking downtown and down the many stairs to the beach. There were lots of food options very close by. The beds and bedding were comfortable and luxurious. The living area was very spacious for us to all hang out together. Would bring a card table next time for doing puzzles. The back house worked well.

Wonderful property! Spacious and nicely appointed. The location was great with downtown Pismo, the Pismo Preserve, and other activities within a short walk. Plenty of parking, fantastic television, a good sized kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect location and accommodation for family weekend . Kitchen well stocked for meal prep and serving . Comfortable beds and lots of seating in living /dining room for group conversation and games

Great location. However, the house seems old and worn out. The same group stayed about 5 years ago and everything was better. This time the Garbage disposal did not work, light bulbs were out, and ants in the bathrooms. Found some trash on the small house bedroom floor Waste basket in little house bathroom was dirty when we removed the bag to dispose of it outside. Would not go back.

Thank you Laurie for your responsiveness to my inquiries. Such an amazing experience.

Our group consisted of my husband and I, our 2 kids and their kids, a total of 11. The houses were great, lots of parking, and the area between the houses was great for sandy beach stuff. I believe the house cleaners should do a better job of making sure there are enough starter supplies. There was no dishwasher pods in the main house, so they borrowed from the small house, not a big deal. Also they need to check the pots and pans. We found a couple of them that had been put away dirty. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean.

Beautiful and Convenient to town and beach
This place worked great for our large family that had gathered for a wedding. The rooms were large, beds so comfortable. Extremely clean. There were a few damaged areas (hole in the sliding door screen, the stove knobs had been melted, the ice maker didn't work in the main house), but nothing that disrupted our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
You can access the beach nearby but it is a steep stairway to get there.

Perfect for large group
Great house for large group. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us. Loved the smaller home in the back, worked great for our younger group. They had their own space if they wanted it. The kitchen was a perfect size and plenty of chairs for all of us in the dining area. Walking distance to pier and restaurants. We would rent this place again. Thanks again Laurie.

Girls trip with family
It was really nice to have all the comfy beds and additional bathrooms to accommodate 9 ladies. The house is really beautiful and that sectional and two chairs gave us plenty of room to watch a movie at night. The guest house is equally as comfortable and beautiful as the main house. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful house, great location within easy walking distance of restaurants. The most comfortable beds and great quality linens. So much space for all of us. Extremely well provisioned, we had an amazing time...thankyou.

Beautiful spacious home that had everything we needed!
My family (and extended family) came into town because the kids were off from school and we also got to visit our daughter at Cal-Poly. This house was perfect. There was plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate everyone and you didn't feel cramped. It was very clean and all bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner and soap, clean towels, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed (well maybe a hand whisk would be a great addition). It was a short 5 min walk to the stairs that led to Pismo beach and about a 10-15 min walk to downtown Pismo. There's a short 15 min drive to downtown SLO or Avila Beach.
The ADU in the back had 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and was perfect for my niece because she had a 3 month old that slept early, so it provided the quiet she needed.
The main house had a comfortable sofa and a large dining table. They had games in the closet for us to use and a lot of space for us to hang out.
Laurie, the property manager was very friendly and quick with her communications.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Great space for a large group
Booked this house for 6 couples, one was not able to make it, so we had a total of 10. One couple stayed in the back house and the rest of us (8) stayed in the main house. The space was great, never felt squished. Kitchen is large as well. The master bedroom downstairs does have a bathroom, but it is not attached to the room FYI. There was an issue with a smoke detector beeping when we arrived. I called and they came to repair in literally like 5 minutes... it was a battery issue. The location is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. I would rent this house again!

Perfection
4 families stayed here for Cal Poly family weekend and it was a perfect choice for us. Very spacious & modern. The guest house is also 100% wonderful. Besides seeing our kids, walking on the beach to Pismo, getting coffee and walking the pier was a highlight. Traffic noise didn’t bother us at all. Sunsets rivaled Hawaii!!

Amazing Family Time!
We had such a great stay in Pismo at this beach house. Beautiful views, cozy kitchen and living room, the beds are SO comfortable, LOTS of space to spread out!
We had the whole family stay ranging from a 1.5 year old to adults. A few things to note when considering your stay:
the beach is on block over, an easy walk that takes about 5 minutes from doorstep to sand. The stairs going down to the beach are steep. This is common in Pismo as the shoreline is very cliff-y. The stairs would not be ideal for someone elderly or handicapped. However, we were able to get up and down easily even with 4 and 5 year olds. The beach gear needs some updating and the home does not come with beach towels. This is not that big of a deal, but if traveling by plane just something to consider when packing.
Other than a few minor repairs which were noted to the owner, the house was wonderful. Spotless bathrooms, clean refrigerator, and everything you need to make a memorable family dinner. We can't wait to go back next October for our yearly family vacation with our dad who lives down the street!

This place was phenomenal! Our big family needs a big place to stay and this house in Pismo Beach was perfect. Everyone had their own room. Big living room to hang out in and a big dining area for family meals. Just to take a walk on the beach everyday was divine!

Great location and space
Just a block from the beach and a short walk to town. This was a great space for our group of friends with kiddos. There were three families with 7 kids total (aged 1-7). It was a great space for our group. Plenty of room to hang and for the kids to play. We created a barrier by parking a van across the driveway. This allowed the younger kids to play without worry of them wondering into the street. The short walk to the beach was manageable for all and was super convenient to go for a few hours and come back to the house for meals.
