We’ve stayed now at all of Patricia’s properties. This one just as great as the other three. Would highly recommend staying at this home or any of her homes. Her attention to detail is great and always super clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well appointed throughout. We stayed a week and it was over 90 every day. I was happy the AC works great! Slept really well the entire stay. We visit WS several times a year and would love to stay at this property whenever we're in town.

Patricia is the hostess with the mostess! Charming cottage exactly as listed. Clean, comfortable and lots of extras. Our 2nd time staying at one of her properties in the Winston-Salem area so we knew it would be a home away from home. It’s the little extras that make her listing 5 stars. Easy communication, leaves the porch light on (in case of late arrival), providing food for breakfast the next day, plus a book detailing the surrounding area including groceries and restaurants - a great host! Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area.

Excellent Property
If you need a place to stay in Winston Salem do not hesitate to rent this property or any other from Patricia. This house was perfect for our family! The house is super clean and delightfully appointed. We spent a lot of time on the deck on beautiful sunny days. And the extra touches make this property stand out Patricia has filled the kitchen with staples which is so very helpful. She also had coffee and eggs already in the house so that breakfast the first day was a breeze. I highly recommend this property especially if you have kids at UNCSA. The campus is so very close! Thanks Patricia!!

Family Wedding
I was visiting the area for a week for a family wedding. This cute, little house was perfect. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed (I appreciated the coffee bar set-up) & the tandem driveway accommodates up to 3 cars if needed. The area is centrally located. The area gets a little “seedy” about 4-5 blocks away but it was quiet at the house. I would definitely stay here again!

Move in at Wake
This was a great place to base out of as we shopped, did some laundry and got organized for my daughter’s move to Wake Forest. It was so nice to be in a cute house and NOT a hotel!

Perfect!!!!!
Listing is exactly as described. Very convenient and met our every need. Patricia is a fabulous host! Her hospitality is top notch. TV was a little challenging for us ‘old’ folks but eventually figured it out. Our little dog loved the completely fenced yard and enjoyed standing guard.

A warm and beautiful home
"Walnut" was the perfect home for our family, while our daughter attended softball camp at a nearby college. Patricia thought of EVERYTHING! The house is immaculately kept, the beds were oh-so-comfy, the towels were lush and the kitchen is perfect and very well-equipped. The washer/dryer was very helpful! The fenced in backyard was wonderful for our pup. The back deck was a peaceful place to sit in the evening, as was the front porch swing. You will feel right at home!

Beautifully decorated and conveniently located home in Winston-Salem
We have stayed in several VRBO properties and they were just a place to land. This home was much more than that! The owner thought of EVERYTHING. The refrigerator was stocked with milk, eggs, butter, water, sparkling water, condiments, waffles and ice. The cabinets were stocked with spices and other essentials. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, spare toothbrushes, dental floss and toothpaste. The home was very clean, the decor was soothing and the yard was beautiful (also loved having coffee on the front porch swing every morning). The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on, including our own. Patricia provided an incredible amount of information on the area and she was very responsive. We hated to leave and hope to come again!

A Wonderful Stay
We spent a week here as we reunited with family in the Winston-Salem area, and we could not have been happier with our stay. Patricia is a fantastic host who made check-in easy, provided for everything we needed (and more!), and answered all of our questions quickly. She also welcomed us with a basket full of goodies and wine! The place was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the outside porch and the swing! The yard wasn't huge, but the kids were still able to play catch. We also had to do work/school remotely from there, and the wifi handled all our needs. It's in a city neighborhood, but we're used to that, and we enjoyed walking to Old Salem and the playground. We felt at home here, and we hope to return next time we're in North Carolina.

My family and I stayed over the weekend while visiting family for the holidays. The house was clean and had all the amenities you could want. Patricia make sure that we had no problems with the check in process and left a welcome basket with goodies and wine which made us feel really welcome :-) The house was conveniently located near area attractions. I would recommend this house!

Absolutely gorgeous
This was probably the best out of town stay we have ever had, we really hated to leave. We were here for my sons lacrosse tournament in Bermuda Run. Me and my wife have already said we will be coming back just to stay , it really felt like a home away from home. There is nothing we could say negative about this place the owner thought of everything even down to new toothbrushes in the medicine cabinet ! How many times have you forgotten your toothbrush. If you really want to stay somewhere were the owner has gone over and above to make your stay like you never left home stay here.

charming bungalw near Old Salem and downtown
Reservations and check-in with Patricia were simple and efficient. We received timely emails and explicit instructions. Upon arrival, the cottage was stocked not only with ample household products but also a fridg. full of breakfast items as well as a welcome basket. The house itself is a simple 2 bedroom bungalow in a modest but very quiet neighborhood. It is recently furnished with very comfortable beds, useful amenities and is absolutely spotless. Off-street parking available. Property as advertised in the listing. Highly recommended.

Lovely home..wonderful host
The house was impeccable and lovely and Patricia was a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed, including a gift basket that was so appreciated. The house is minutes away from Old Salem. Keep in mind when staying in this location you are downtown, and be aware of your surrounding areas. The people were as nice as could be, and we had a wonderful time.

Just perfect Location, Comfort, Amenities with pets
We really enjoyed our stay and comfort of the bedding and amenities provided by the owners. We enjoyed the deck and our doggies loved to go down to the yard and play with the frisbee.
There was a great dog park just around the way, old Salem was walking distance, and the pantry was so well stocked with goodies for breakfast and snacking. We will be back for sure!!

Walnut Street
We enjoyed our stay on Walnut street. The property was very clean and comfortable. The house is a two-bedroom house with a living room, dining room, kitchen, large deck and enclosed back yard. The host was very kind and thoughtful, leaving us pack and play and high chair for our grandson. The house was close to Old Salem and conveniently near downtown. A beautiful park was a block away. Walnut Street is busy street but is lined with sidewalks. The front bedroom had a sound machine so street sounds were not an issue.

Lovely!
We had such a nice stay. The house was nicely appointed with everything that one would need (plus more) ! We thoroughly enjoyed the back deck and the front porch swing! The birds chirping in the mornings while enjoying our coffee on the deck was a added bonus .... Oh, and the fireflies at night! WOW! We had small issue with the oven door one evening and I had sent a quick note to the owners and they showed up in 10 minutes later to fix it!!! Would have liked to stay a few more days! This home is a must if you want to be close to UNCSA, Salem College, W-S College and/or Old Salem!! Close to a great coffee shop (City Hive), mexican food ( Senor Bravo), and Italian food ( DiLicios)!!!! 5 min dr. or 15min walk....We'll be back!

Winston Salem VRBO
House was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Nice furnishings with much of it new; well stocked kitchen and bath. Gift basket on arrival was great along with some adult beverages in the refrigerator! Small, enclosed, well kept backyard; very nice porches on front and back for relaxing. HVAC worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Quiet neighbors, but with I-40 construction the streets were very busy almost 24 hrs a day with cars traveling fast. Salem Creek waterway, a large dog park and two parks for kids are within walking distance if you can make it up and down the hills. Parking is available at the parks too. Close to Old Salem historic area and walking trails.
