We had a great time and plan to stay again. Super close to downtown and UNCSA, as well as Sayso coffee and other restaurants. Plus the walking path and historic Salem. Loved the space- the bathrooms were lovely and a huge kitchen! Primary bedroom bed was very comfortable. Library soace was a fun bonus

Our family enjoyed this apartment on the 2nd floor of an historic building. It was a large space with huge open living room/dining room/kitchen; very comfortable, well equipped and included high end appliances. The location was great, it was a short walk to Downtown Winston Salem and Old Salem, including restaurants and coffee shops. Great, prompt communication with the host. It was perfect for a week long stay.

My wife and i were in town for a convention and wanted more space than a hotel provides, this was the perfect find! The host was amazing!!
Check-in was simple with an electronic door lock and provided code and there was plenty of parking in the private lot (convenient)
The rental was better than described! The location is an old converted fire station and you see all the amazing original craftsmanship throughout, the home is thoughtfully decorated to honor the the homes age without feeling overly dated.
The master bedroom has plenty of natural light but great blackout curtains if you plan to sleep in, the bed was very comfortable with great linens, we slept very well, if your a celling fan sleeper (like my wife) there is a great one in the room, but the home also has central air with a smart thermostat in the bedroom, the home always felt comfortable.
The master bathroom was wonderful, my wife made use of the tub multiple times for soaking and enjoyed the spa type feel, she recommends bringing some bath bombs (there were some there) and a bottle of wine for a relaxing soak.
Great water pressure in the shower and water gets nice and hot, loved haveing both a rain head and standard shower head option, the bathroom is big enough for 2 adults to easily move around each other and get prepared to head out, plenty of closet space!.
The other bed room and bathroom we didn't need for our stay but both were roomy and nicely done as well, we loved the size and layout of the kitchen.

We came to Winston for a college visit and for healthcare at Wake Forest Baptist hospital. This historical building has been uniquely renovated and is accurately photographed/described. This was a perfect location with easy access to downtown, colleges, and the hospital. There are several wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and coffee spots within a 5 min walk. Communication with the host was easy and helpful. It felt safe and secure. This is definitely a spot that we would book again in the future.
*It would be lovely if the host added a tea kettle and measuring cups in the kitchen!

I came to Winston Salem for a friends wedding and stumbled across this amazing condo. Had its own parking and it was the cutest condo I’ve stayed at in a while. Such a beautiful and tasteful aesthetic for a nice cute weekend getaway with your partner.

Great space to relax and enjoy the downtown Winston area.

Enjoyed our stay in this historic building. Plenty of room for the two of us to spread out. Place was very clean and nicely furnished. Loved the big shower! Close to downtown restaurants and shops although "within walking distance" is a bit of a stretch. Check in was a little confusing arriving at night. We weren't 100% clear on where to park and where the entrance was. Would be nice if wifi info was provided in the unit as stated in the check-in instructions, however the host was quick to reply with it. Also, there was a decent amount of street noise but it didn't really deter from our stay.

This condo is perfect! There is plenty of room so you don't feel on top of each other. The kitchen is great, if you are a foodie and if not, there are countless great restaurants around. The bathrooms/bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming. The host and manager for the VRBO go overboard to answer questions and help with any high-tech questions. It is a pure delight! You will love your time here, as we did.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable, and well-decorated condo. It was a terrific location for walking to restaurants, coffee shops, and exploring the city. This would have been a 5-star review with just a few improvements. It was a little noisy because it is close to a city road, and there is an office downstairs. The parking instructions were not clear, nor was the wifi password available in the condo, so I had to call the rep upon arrival, which was inconvenient. Finally, it would have been nice to have some sugar in the house for coffee or tea, and to have liners in the wastecans in the bathrooms. These are minor and can easily be fixed. I would definitely recommend this property and would consider staying there again.

We loved this house! My husband and I were there on a business trip for me and the house is very cozy and welcoming, but also huge! Owners were very responsive to questions we had while there. Restaurants in the area were all amazing! There are many places to eat within walking distance. This was our first trip to NC, but it definitely won't be our last! ❤️

The history of the building is very impressive.

What a beautiful property! It respected the history of the building with upscale fixtures and decor. The floor plan was spacious but allowed for privacy with sleeping arrangements. It was less than a ten minute walk to Old Salem, bakeries, breweries, and all the vibes of 4th street. Wineries were drivable in under 20 minutes and the view of the city was striking over the well-restored entryway. The library and sitting room below it off the owner’s suite were delightful! Such a responsive host, too! We hope to return soon to explore more of the wonders of Winston-Salem!

Three aunties visited our nephew. We cooked in the amazing kitchen and had lots of pace to reads, rest, and explore the property. We loved the library!!!
