About this house rental
Welcome to Hickory, Dickory, Dock! This beautiful home was completely rehabbed - down to the studs. That means a brand new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and decks. Brand new furniture throughout - new mattresses, sheets, & pillows. This place is CLEAN! I have more pictures I can share if you'd like or have questions. Also, this property has a beautiful view of the main channel; some properties in coves provide a view of a tiny sliver of water but mostly a view of their neighbors' boat docks. You'll love the view here!
This is a 4 bedroom home, that very comfortably sleeps 10 (if you have more in your group, let's discuss what works - we want to accommodate you, but we also want you to be comfortable, too and we want the reservation to be good fit for you and for our house). All new beds and mattresses! Beautiful brand new stainless & granite kitchen, and 2 1/2 baths. Brand new flat screen TVs, cable, and DVD player - but you're going to spend most of your days outside on the new brand new decks overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks - directly across from La Isla del Sol. Enjoy the private boat dock and swim platform that is located right off the deck. The dock surface is concrete - so no splinters! The guest slip is 10x26’, so bring your boat/Seadoo or rent one locally (we can help arrange rentals if you'd like).
After a few requests, we added an Aqua Lily Bullfrog pad that is available to rent. This is a 3 ply "floating carpet" that is the thickest one made by Aqua Lily. Measuring 6 feet by 20 feet, it can hold 9-10 people (1,800 lbs of distributed weight). It is really fun to float on it next to the dock in our cove! If you are interested in renting this, please let us know.
We now have 2 ten-foot sit on top kayaks (with paddles and new life jackets) available to rent so you can go check out the fall color on the water! If you are interested in another way to enjoy the lake, just let us know.
This is a single family home with a private concrete driveway that connects to blacktop roads all the way to the highway.
PETS: Dogs weighing not more than 40 lbs are allowed provided they are housebroken and stay in crates overnight and while you're away. We have crates at the house so you don't need to bring yours. Fireworks of any kind are not permitted.

What a time we had! The place is beautiful… the water was wonderful. We played for hours on the lilypad… utilized the kayaks… the kiddos caught 6 catfish during our stay right off the back dock! We rented a pontoon boat and tubed… we also rented jet skis. We hiked Lake Ozark National Park!… The boys went go-karting and mini-golfing while the ladies had an animal encounter down the road and held a monkey, lemur, kangaroo, and a sloth! We had the most wonderful time with friends and family! Highly recommend!

House, location, and deck were all amazing. Would recommend for any group to have fun and relax. Dock is awesome but it can be rough. Be careful when parking a boat here. We had damage to our boat because of the large waves moving it around too much in the slip.

Our family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 9 & 10), had a fabulous time at Hickory Dickory Dock! We stayed over 3 weeks and enjoyed all the lake and town had to offer, with cousins and family joining for parts of the trip. The dock was enjoyable and having a guest slip was perfect as we rented a boat from Big Thunder @ Glencove Marine, so we had a nice place to store it. The upstairs bedroom is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. Butch was an excellent host and never missed a beat on communication, which was incredible. I recommend this home as a place to make memories that will last a lifetime!

Had a wonderful stay! The owner was really easy to work with, since it was my first vrbo rental I had a lot of questions! Everything was super clean and the furnishings were nice and appeared to be new! Will definitely look to plan a longer trip this summer!

We really enjoyed our week of lake living at this property. The house we very nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. The views were nice with all the windows. There is plenty of seating options on the decks & dock. Obviously the big sell for this house is being directly on the water and having a boat slip available. We also liked the location of the house being closer to the dam because there were fewer boats & many places to safely tube. My only recommendation is to be sure to set up an entry code prior to arrival. We would definitely consider returning next year! It was great!!

Off the path
We had a great time at this property. It’s off the path and into a cove with the main lake view. Butch was very easy to work with and quickly respond to any questions we had. The property is close to all you would want(restaurants, stores and water). The dock area was perfect for the family to spend the entire day on the water.

My wife and I took our kids and dog during the week of July 4th and had a terrific time. Super house and constant access to the the lake, particularly for night fishing off the peer. And you won’t find a more professional and responsive host anywhere else on VRBO.

We loved our time at this home! Great location in a quiet cove with a perfect dock for fishing. My sons had a blast exploring on the kayaks. Layout of the home is perfect for spending time with family and have your own retreat for bed time. Very clean and excellent communication!

Our family traveled from Phoenix and met with my parents, brother and family. Plenty of room in this beautiful, clean, fun home. We lived on the dock or deck the entire time. Easy working with our host - quick responses and supportive answers.

We spent the whole day down by the dock and swimming in the lake with the lily pad. The dock is amazing with nice chairs for 8 people and there was plenty of room for safe swimming in front of it in the no wake zone. Frank was a gracious and responsive host. If we had more than one day, I would have rented a boat and paddleboard!

Beautiful home and views
My family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was comfortable and beautifully updated. The views of the lake are spectacular! The home had everything we needed. I even made my family a full Thanksgiving meal. The Christmas lights were a nice surprise. We had fun last night when the Christmas cruise boat came over to honk and wave their approval of the lights. It is located in a great area. We enjoyed town and hiking by Ha Ha Tonka castle ruins. We would definitely stay again!

It is right on the water, has a great dock and the inside is clean, beautiful and very well maintained! We rented a boat and a captain and they picked us up right at the dock. A great day on the water led to a wonderful night where we BBQ'd at the house, had cocktails on the dock and then used their fire pit to make s'mores....we had four 2 -somethings with us and there was something for everyone to do! Very close drive to the dam and shopping and great restaurants . We would stay here again and hope to soon!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The View.....wow!

The house was in excellent condition and so incredibly clean, the deck and large dock were both great ways to enjoy the outdoors. Communication with the owners was extremely prompt and helpful, very appreciated. The location provided warm water and surrounding area was perfect for walks/runs, we even spotted a couple bald eagles. We will definitely be back. Such a great area and highly recommend this house. Access upon arrival so easy and we experienced no issues. This house and location will definitely not disappoint.

We had a great time at this beautiful property. The views were amazing. The huge deep water cement (no splinters!) dock is especially fantastic for hanging out all day. Some issues with the air conditioner were addressed promptly. The lily pad was a big hit, we brought other flotation devices for lounging and playing as well. The owner was easy to work with and prompt with answering any questions.

Perfect Family Getaway!
This house is gorgeous...beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation! We enjoyed evenings grilling on the deck and after dinner cocktails on the dock to watch the sunset. My son loved fishing off the dock and caught 20 fish in one day. The cove was calm and ideal for swimming and enjoying the lily pad. Butch was so responsive and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back!
