About this house rental
This is a recently renovated mid-century home in Fullerton, just 5 miles/13 minutes from Disneyland! This neighborhood is quaint and cute and peaceful! 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a backyard deck with a lovely hillside view of palms, greenery and of Fullerton. 2 bedrooms that have a King bed (pack and play baby bed also available), 1 bedroom with 2 double beds (2 adults or 4 kids), and 1 bedroom with a Queen bed. 1 bathroom has a lovely glass and tile shower, and the other bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a partial glass enclosure. No pets, NO SMOKING of any kind inside or outside (including no marijuana and no cigarette butts anywhere in the yards), no parties or "events" or group gatherings with extra guests. Guests can only rent if their group will not be playing loud music that can be heard outside the house or have lots of cars (or revving of vehicle engines) and/or extra people coming and going at various hours especially late at night, and there would not be more than 3 cars parked at the house (please bring no more than 3 in driveway, but not any on the street overnight, and NONE in front of any neighbors’ houses). No public drinking in the yard and street or loud voices out and around the house including in the back, and no nudity or scantily clad people in the front or back yards where neighbors may view. Sorry to have to be strict about this, but this is a quiet family neighborhood and we really can’t have neighbors upset about guests. Please respect the peacefulness of the neighborhood and do nothing that would disturb neighbors. Quiet time after 9 p.m. please. Some deposit money may need to be kept if rules are violated or we get any complaints from neighbors. There are exterior security cameras in the yards and also in garage where storage items are. Please be aware that the cleaning fee is a basic standard fee and if the cleaning person is required to spend far more than the usual time cleaning due to the condition of the house after guest departure, then the extra cost for extra time cleaning may need to be deducted from the refundable deposit. We ask guests to please keep the premises (inside of house and outside in the yards) clean and please put all trash in the provided receptacles or in the labeled trash bin on the right side of the house. If rearranging of furniture is desired, please contact us to ask for permission, and/or return everything to its proper original place before your departure. Also, if the guest has time and is willing to launder or start to launder their linens (towels and sheets) before departure, it would greatly help the housekeeper in getting the house ready for the next guests, and will help to keep cleaning costs down. Trash pickup day is Thursday, so if you are staying there on a Thursday morning, please place the bins fron the side yard onto the curb area with all your household trash (and separate bin for recycling) that's been accumulated. (Holidays may delay pickup by one day.) Please replace the bins after trash has been picked up by the trucks, if you are still staying at the house at that time. Thank you.

Staying at this place was a total nightmare
In order to stay here we had to make our own cleaning arrangements since they don’t clean for Sunday check ins and outs
But when we got there the house was a total mess, the yard and garage were pretty disgusting, full of spider webs. It was obvious that this had been accumulating for a long time, not just the result of the previous guests.
The kitchen is POORLY equipped, barely any silverware and basic equipment
I don’t think a professional cleaner comes to the place and clearly not the hosts
Location was pretty good though and neighborhood was safe and quiet
Hosts were quick to respond to messages but extremely rude.
Our experience with this house made our trip pretty bitter and left everyone upset in our group. This property needs WAY better property management!

I was very upset with the house that I rented for my family. I don't understand how this house has a 9/10 reviews with the condition it is on and how the owner could not know what is going on with their house. This house is terrible.
1. The house has a terrible odor. We had to buy air freshener and even then it didn't even mask the smell.
2. Sheets, linens, and towels smell like it had not been washed.
3. Door knobs, door handles were falling off/broken. Broken things were randomly found throughout the house. There was a wooden plank in the dishwasher.
4. Sliding closet doors were swinging back and forth.
5. Majority of the electrical outlets were not working so couldn't charge any devices. And some wall outlet were missing wall plates. The outlet was very exposed, wires and all. VERY HAZARDOUS if we small children with us.
As for the owner of this property, they were nice. This house needs to be taken off of ALL rental sites listing until it is properly fixed. It needs a major remodeling.

The place is the actual house as advertised. Situated in a very quiet and good neighborhood. The owner of the house communicated really well. I wished that dishwasher was working when we stayed. Nevertheless, that didn’t spoiled us to enjoy the house. Lori offered to get it fixed though. I will definitely stay here again if I need a place to stay in SoCal.

We selected the property for it’s convenient location to Disneyland, the bedroom set up and the price. It worked well for all of that. The house was not as clean as you would expect, crumbs in one of the beds, mold in one of the bathrooms, overgrown weeds in the back yard and stains on pillow cases. The house also needs some minor maintenance that could be taken care of by a handyman in one day. Towel rails falling off the wall, hole in bedroom wall, faucet wobbly and leaking and just general freshen up needed. The wifi was very sporadic and there was no TV remote or any instructions on how to access the TV. Overall okay for what we needed but a little disappointing based on the photos on VRBO.

This property was perfect for our Disneyland vacation. It was nestled in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to many restaurants, grocery and department stores. Our trips to and from the Disney parks were an easy 12 to 20 minutes Uber ride, depending on the time of day and traffic.
The home itself was spacious enough for our party of 10, with the youngest member being my niece at 18 months and the oldest member was my dad who is 70. The owners were amazing and very accommodating, always promptly answering any of our questions or concerns. The contactless check-in process was super easy and the door locking mechanism was extremely convenient for members of our group who wished to depart or return to the property at different times.
We did not encounter any issues and we would definitely stay here again for our next Disney trip. Thank you, Lori & Jim, for allowing your home to be our home away from home!

The home was spacious and very clean. My family of 6 and my husband’s parents had a blast...we planned two days at Disney and one at the beach but got rained on the last day so we headed to Downtown Disney. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the home made it comfortable to stay together.

The check-in and directions were excellent. Communications with the owners was easy, and they answered all of our questions promptly. The property is a lovely layout and very spacious; would easily accommodate two families or, like us, a family with older children so they have their own space. The neighbourhood was quiet and we felt very at ease there. Nicely decorated to make it feel homely. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property and the owners come highly recommended. Good position for visits to Disneyland parks.

The owner was very responsive. We were a little confused on how to get in but that was on me. I e connected with the owner within minutes. The home was very specious and had a great feel to it. There were three couples and young kids staying here and it accommodated us amazingly! We would stay again.

Nice house with plenty of beds!
This was a nice house with lots of beds/sleeping options! The 2 bathrooms were updated & nice. Not too far from Disneyland/beaches. The kitchen cabinets could use a good scrub down & new liners, as well as new pans & cooking utensils. The towels & sheets should be replaced as well. Overall a nice place.

Excellent home in a great LA location - Will go back
This trip was a quick trip to SoCal for the weekend and the home was great. We didn't spend much time there other than sleeping but the home fit our needs perfectly. There were plenty of beds and rooms. The check in was easy as was the check out. Communication with the owner was very easy and they were very prompt in their responses. We did other things during this trip, but I plan on coming back to do a trip to Disneyland and Knotts since it is so close to both of them.

Great location
Our family was gathering for my Dads wake. We had events in La Mirada and La Habra Heights, and this house was located well. We had Eight adults (3 couples). The bedrooms, bathrooms and large living room seating areas were perfect for us. Our host communicated well and answered our questions quickly.

Nice, but needs some work
Overall the property was nice. In a great neighborhood and close to a trail for walking. We loved that. The house is roomy and unique in design with living room on one level and the bedrooms and kitchen a couple of steps up in different directions. The linens could use an update. They are very worn. There were patches on some of the walls. That may be recent work that's not quite finished but it was a bit of an eyesore. The general housekeeping could be a bit better too. It wasn't so bad we couldn't stay but we had to wipe down the dining room table to use it. Several of the dishes we pulled out of the cupboard were not washed clean. Also, there are two cars stored on the property. The listing is very clear about having only two parking spaces and no on the street parking. (the street is narrow) However, if the owners found some other place for their extra cars there could be parking for 3 in the driveway and one in the garage (if they cleared it out also) Fortunately, we were able to mostly carpool but it would have been nice to have more parking. The bathrooms were nice. There is no central air but wall units in each room that worked very well.

The home is spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Newly remodeled bathrooms … all looks newly remodeled. Nice view from the eating area. It was perfectly situated for our needs.
