Host was very attentive prior to and during stay. Apartment has great access to Grand Canal and is short walk from Rialto Bridge and St Marc’s square. Lots of restaurants nearby. Spacious clean apartment with all amenities.

The neighborhood of this residence is mostly peaceful, except for first thing in the morning when the Barge to collect garbage and delivery boats arrive starting at 6 AM. We arrived at 10 PM and discovered the next morning that the noise outside was not motorcycles, but multiple boats driving by making deliveries and picking up trash. Aside from the morning noise, this place was lovely.

Incredible view of the canal! Quaint, spacious home which had everything we needed! 2 rooms with AC, beautiful kitchen, living room, books galore and in walking distance to so many incredible things!! My family of 4 (with 2 older teens) absolutely loved it!

The view onto the canal is amazing. The apartment is secluded and quiet from people noise, but there is boat activity as would be expected. The apartment is lovely and has all the amenities that one would need. It is not far from the Valporetto drop off. Nothing is more than a 25 minute walk away for a slow walker.

Fantastic quirky apartment in a great area. The apartment is HUGE! 1 permanent double bedroom with a terrace onto the canal, a large lounge again with the terrace onto the canal, a room which can be used as an office OR another bedroom with a comfy double sofa bed - terrace onto the square on the canal, kitchen and 2 bathrooms both with great powerful hot showers.
It is only 5-10 mins walk to S.Toma Vaporetto stop and from there it is great connections to wherever you want to go. 10 mins walk to Rialto. A fab area in a more peaceful location - the canal outside can be busy later at night and early in the morning with deliveries etc. and i loved getting up early to watch Venice come to life - but once you have the shutters closed, door closed and fan on you can hear nothing so nothing will wake you up if you don't want to be woken up! There is also air con if its hot too - i tended to pop that on for an hour before bed and switch it off just leaving the fan on.
Rita was really helpful - we are ladies of a certain age!! and I have arthritus, so didnt want to lug the cases through venice onto Vaporetto etc.. so Rita booked a water taxi which drops off right outside the apartment on the square - she also booked one for us going hoe for 0600 in the morning and it turned up on the dot!
IF you are looking to get a water taxi/shared taxi IMPORTANT - Campiello Del Remer is the place in front of the apartment, however there are 2 Campielle Del Remer and 1 is a long way away!

We loved our visit to Venice, and enjoyed the location of this place which allowed us to walk and explore the less crowded streets in the early morning and evening. The house is clean and spacious. Thank you very much :)

Excellent, excellent location.
We had a wonderful stay and Rita was very helpful indeed

Lots of spaces, great windows overlooking the canal, central location. Could have better lights in the kitchen

I’m an architect from Canada. This was a great place for me, great vibe. Made me feel more creative just being there. Safe and snug. Boat noises. Had an awesome time. Rita helped me get organized. Easy to get anywhere. A great place for a shot of Venice therapy!!

What matters most at the beginning is good communication with the owner and in this case, it was excellent.
The apartment has a desk, critical for my work, although I ended up turning the dining room into an office space.
Because the building is steps from a docking area, when the water taxi dropped me off, I didn't have to lug my bags through the warren of Venice streets with their many staired bridges.
A very comfortable apartment.

We were quite happy with the property. Would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous apartment with lots of space and charm in a quiet area yet very close to everything we needed.
Very well appointed with more than we needed.

Venice is small but this was literally close to everything. Out of the tourist area but close to all the fun. Canal was fun to watch come alive in the morning. Rita is fantastico at communicating. I would stay again if I returned to Venice.

Property was in a great location to do everything. Loved coming back from a long day of site seeing and relaxing in the living room area. Rita was great in communication. Would definitely stay here again.

We felt as though we had our own Venice mansion. A view of the grand canal through most every window. Tiny balconies in master bedroom - not large enough for sitting but you could stand and watch the gondolas and water taxis go by on the side canal. The apartment is huge. Kitchen well equipped. We only did breakfast but you could do large meals if you want and there is a very large dining room if you choose to have a formal dinner. Neighborhood is outstanding. Safe and quiet. Close to restaurants, shopping, water taxis, anything you could want. Rita was just amazing before and during our visit. Every question was cheerfully answered. Bookings were efficiently made for us. All of her suggestions we spot on. We would have been lost without her.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We appreciated Mateo meeting us and taking us to the apartment. It is a lovely apartment and we absolutely loved the location. We would highly recommend it.

Very nice apartment

Cold cold Air conditioning saved us during the hottest week of August. We could barely survive being out during the day, so this charming apartment was the perfect place to nap, watch the boats through the many large windows. So much better than a hotel. Very quiet secluded street, quite romantic.

This was a wonderful apt. Has balconies overlooking aA side canal and at the corner is the grand canal. We'll definitely stay again!

Lovely large, roomy apartment, good air conditioner in 2 bedrooms and living room, 2 bathrooms, 5 minutes walk from vaparetto stop, balconies over a canal with view of Grand Canal and a great host. Learn to use the vaparetto (it’s easy, watch a YouTube video) and you can go anywhere in Venice quickly and easily. There are 2 nice grocery stores less than 5 minutes away and many outdoor restaurants close to the apartment. I recommend this apartment and will stay there again.

I stayed at Rita's apartment for several days with my parents. The location was fantastic - quick walk to Rialto, not too far from San Marco, and a 10 minute walk to the train.
It's right on a busy canal and we found it fun to watch all the different watercraft pass by, from gondolas to delivery boats to water taxis.
The apartment was very comfortable, and Rita was super communicative. Check in was a breeze.
Rita's recommended restaurants were fantastic, especially Osteria Ruga Rialto

We had a very good time in that beautiful apartement.
Great location and really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I don’t have a single negative comment about my time in this absolutely stunning space. It’s clean, thoughtfully furnished and designed, in an incredible location away from the noise of the crowds, and has the most beautiful canal view from the bedroom and living room. The host was incredibly communicative and shared all sorts of useful information. If I’m ever lucky enough to find myself in Venice again, I know where I’m going to stay!

We LOVED staying here! It is in a perfect location, within walking distance of everything, and has a beautiful view of the canal. You are right on the water! We got a little lost on our way there, and the owner's husband called us and walked us through step by step how to get to their property. If we ever return to Venice, this is where we will stay!

Our party of four loved this property. It was spacious, clean, fully equipped and a unique, beautiful home. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends!

Reality of transport should have been in the listing, and when finally revealed came close to check-in, had to scrambled the last night to arrange, however host was very helpful with that. No land transport to this property. Their suggested route by water bus drops you where you must traverse your luggage over rough paths and up slippery stone stepped bridges. Instead we used $60E water taxi that picked us up at piazzzale Roma, where the land taxi from the airport dropped us. (That is as far as cars can go in Venice) The water taxi dropped us right at a dock on the little plaza where the house is.
Everything was perfect about this place except that we were never able to get warm. When we arrived the host met us and told us that the heater would be repaired the next day. It is a gas powered water boiler in the kitchen mounted on the wall. It fed hot water to radiators in each room. That could be a good system but they were barely warm and they weren’t adjustable in each room, Men came the next day and worked on it and it got a little better but the radiators never got really hot our whole stay. You could comfortably wrap your hand around the metal. The first night the temperature in Florence was 5°C/41°F. We used all the blankets we could find and use the down inner lining of our jackets to try to keep warm. The day after our first day there my daughter came down with a sore throat and coughing And could not go out for four days. We had been shown how to ‘reset’ the furnace if it wasn’t working and told not to set it above 20°C/68F. Because that would be illegal in Italy now. That is what I keep mine at home, which is a drier climate, but still that apartment was nowhere near 20/68. There was no written explanation of operating the system, so i did call about that - the thermostat has no controls, you have to open the boiler panel and turn up the dial with the radiator (there’s another dial next to it, on the right for the sink and shower water). Finally, I decided to just turn it all the way up to see what would happen - and it got a little warmer but the thermostats still read 20.0 - 20.2 as the entire time.
Now we are in ‘Florence also with radiators, but with adjustable knobs in each room. I am a landlady myself and know the pain of having to come up with repairs, but there have been other complaints about the heat on other reviews and i suggest at least written instructions. and making sure the boiler is working before people arrive

Great rental with amazing channel view. Perfect size for hosting a dinner night in, but also centrally located for easy access to adventures!

Enjoyed our stay. We did not read the host's instructions the first night and left windows open. The variety of mosquitos in Venuce are aggressive! It is nice having balconies but we did not use them after day one and stll these critters were getting in. I assume this is a Venice phenomenon.

Spacious and quiet apartment in San Polo quarter. The host provided clear instructions on how to locate the apartment do your own self-check in (it definitely helped) plus lots of dining recommendations. The apartment itself was comfortable with plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and 1 toddler, and we loved the view of the canal.

What can I say, this was probably one of the best VRBOs I've stayed in for awhile. The level of service Rita provided went above and beyond what was expected. I really got the impression she cared about our stay - constant contact to check in and ensure we were doing well.
The property itself is great, it's a large flat, close to a few main roads running through Venice. It's also within walking distance of several good restaurants and bars as well as near the water bus stop. The only bit of warning I would give to people here is as you're close to the Grand Canal and directly over a connecting canal, there can be a lot of water traffic especially at night. It didn't bother us as we live in a city so noise at night is not new, but if you're used to complete silence, you may have some issues here.
Rita provided a lot of information for us at check in about good places to eat and see - the apartment was clean and comfortable and while finding it can be a bit tricky at first, Rita did provide some very detailed directions that made things much easier.
Overall fantastic, thank you Rita for all you did!

The place wasn’t completely cleaned when we got there but we are not picky. It is a very old building with no upgrades but again the location and balcony view was worth it. Right in the canal was fun! 20 minute walk to train station and to the square.

The apartment was exactly as pictured, clean, bright and had great amenities including A/C, washing machine and a bathtub. Rita was very responsive when we had questions and there were some nice basic supplies like bottled water and coffee. The sofa bed was not very comfortable but adequate for a 4 night stay. We definitely recommend this apartment and host.

We love this apartment tucked away from the crowd (so it’s quiet at night) but still close enough to all Venice has to offer. Walked everywhere! The rooms are spacious and we had plenty of space for our little one year old to play, crawl and explore. The view in the main living room is exceptional. We stayed in that room all the time watching the boats pass by. There are plenty of balconies in this apartment to enjoy the little square downstairs or the canals. Just open the double doors and voila! Everything was clean. We also appreciated that they provided a crib for our little one. That extra touch of personalization went a long way for us. Our baby was able to sleep soundly through the night. So we were also able to sleep and rest :) Rita was so prompt responding to all our inquiries. She even helped us book a taxi and shared some of her recommended restaurants. thank you for letting us stay in your cozy place! We’d love to be able to stay there again next time we visit Venice.

This clean and charming apartment is in a great location and was a perfect base to explore Venice for the first time. It was wonderful to look out of the windows at the canal and the boats coming and going and there are lots of good restaurants and shops very close by. We hope to return and stay at the apartment one day.

The apartment was lovely, very light and airy. It was bigger than we expected which was brilliant, it a great location for everything. Beds were comfy and 2 bathrooms a bonus.
Rita was a great host and helped with recommendations and organising a taxi when we were leaving.
Thank you

We stayed in Venice for the first 3 days of our trip to Italy and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to kick off the honeymoon. The location was very central to everything that is worth seeing. Rita was a fantastic host who was always willing to go the extra mile to make the stay memorable. The small balconies that open right above a canal gave the feel of a scene from a movie. The house was extremely clean and had everything that is needed for a stay. We will definitely recommend this apartment to anyone that is travelling to Venice.

The best!!
We came here after a week in the Parma area on a bike trip. We stayed for five days. Venice is magic! The apartment was amazing and Rita was so helpful in arranging rides and giving us recommendations for restaurants and so on. I would definitely recommend this apartment and the city!

First time Venice visit!
Everything about this flat was great! Location, cleanliness, cosy, charming and interesting, amenities, clear info (on air conditioning, washing machine, rubbish disposal (more tricky in Venice), stove) view of canals… and Venice is of course magical.. Rita gave us great recommendations which made our stay even more perfect, especially for our 12 year old’s birthday!
