My husband, daughter and I enjoyed four nights in the lovely cottage in the mountains. It was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. My favorite thing was drinking coffee on the front porch with the lovely mountain view and listening to the birds singing. I made fresh nectar for the Hummingbird feeder and enjoyed watching them buzz about.

Just what we needed!
Beautiful house, beautiful location. Spotless- our allergy folks had zero issues with dust . Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We had wanted to stay closer to the ski mountain but nothing was available. We ended up loving the lovely winding mountain drive “home” after a ski day and being in our own private space. Sheep next door! Not fancy, but we don’t need fancy. Thanks Karin!

Well Appointed!
The home was well appointed with all the amenities you may need and there is plenty of room to find a quiet place to read or sip coffee. We enjoyed the view from the front porch and the proximity to the AT and Crabtree Falls, I would recommend this as a place for hikers and the adventurous, thanks for the hospitality.

Girlfriends Getaway
This property is beautiful, exactly as described, and had everything we needed for our stay. As many other reviews have stated, the views from the front porch are spectacular and that is where we spent our evenings, talking and drinking some wine. Our last night was extra special as we watched the full moon rise above the tree line. If you are looking for a relaxing few days in this area you can’t go wrong with this gem of a cottage.

A wonderful escape to the country
What a lovely place for a long weekend getaway! The view off the front porch is tough to beat, especially with a cup of coffee as the sun rises (but it was also a great place to watch the rain). At night, you get a renewed appreciation for just how many stars are in the sky as you sit on the back deck. And when it's cold and raining, you can sit snug inside and take advantage of the extensive book selection and great variety of games. Karin was a fantastic hostess, and we can't wait to come back for another (longer) break!

A great getaway!!
After a tough year, we decided we needed a weekend away. The property was everything we could have hoped for - comfortable, very, very clean, every amenity we could have wanted. This is a place for rest and quiet - not close to restaurants, etc. However, we had a wonderful time checking out some restaurants about 20 minutes away, especially Mountain Mammas in Lovingston Don't miss it! If you decide to eat in, everything you need is there. The beds are super comfortable and it's clear this cottage has been a labor of love. Karin was an excellent hostess. Always available, cheerful, and kind. We will definitely be back!

A great stay at a cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage
My husband, our teenage son, and I stayed at the cottage to hike in the area. We loved our stay. The cottage is equipped with everything you'd want -- it is so much better to stay at a place where the owners also use it themselves, as it is like staying at home. The only (slight) drawback was that it snowed one of the days and we couldn't get the fire in the fire-pit going because the wood was wet -- it would have been good if there had been dry (covered) wood available for burning. We did two hikes, and loved the Crabtree Falls Trail -- the views were spectacular, although it was snowing the morning we went so it was slippery. All in all, we had a great stay, and plan to return!

Cozy and Clean
My girlfriend and I stayed in the cottage and enjoyed every second. In every aspect that matters, (hospitality, cleanliness etc) our experience could not have been better. We hope to return one day and highly recommend staying here to anyone else that enjoys "getting away" while maitaining first-class amenities.

The Mountains ans Crab Tree Falls
We had a wonderful time. We had expected the normal pepper and salt and maybe a small pouch of coffee and coffee filters. There was an abundance of extra spices and rice, pasta of several variety, beans of several variety, even some yogurt. It was like we were visiting a friends home while they were away; we felt at home.
Only complaint was that the oven needed to be cleaned.
