About this house rental

Custom designed ranch style home. Hand crafted hardwood throughout, with 3 bedrooms upstairs, (3 queen pillowtops) full bath with jacuzzi tub/shower/laundry shoot, spacious living room, with 50' smart TV, surround sound, dining room opens into fully equipped kitchen, solid walnut counter tops, open galley to lower level. Walk out to back deck with above ground heated pool (Ron's hard work paid off), 2-3+ grills, gas and charcoal, kegorator, it's definitely a man's world!! The Lower Level was recently updated with three , (3), custom designed and built full size bedrooms. We have re-vamped the extra large bathroom, consisting of: the"Throne", walk-in shower, modified (2-2016) closet/dressing area, pedestal sink, and paint décor/design. The downstairs family room has a 46" Samsung Smart TV, 2 built-in ceiling speakers, hand crafted walnut XL Twin /couch/futon, (sleeps 2 comfortably), side reclining chaise, (sleeps 1?2), built-in wall refrigerator. Access to washer/dryer is located next to the "Throne". Open the front door and relax on our peaceful recently added new front deck, (6-2016), that looks west to the University. Watch the sunset!! It's awesome. Take it all in, the sights, the sounds, the Hesburgh library, the excitement, and of course, the energy of Notre Dame. An experience you will never forget!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the “Big House!” The house/location was perfect for our multi-generational group of family and friends for a game weekend. The house is “quirky” but super clean and comfortable (slept our group of 3 couples and 2 teens comfortably with several beds to spare). It’s not fancy, but it’s perfect for a game-weekend and visiting ND students. We hosted friends of our ND students for pregame dinner and there was plenty of room to serve and socialize with 20+ people! Sharon was amazing to deal with… a great hostess who treated us more like friends than customers.

We brought our whole family to an ND game. This was the perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of beds, parking ideal, safe neighborhood, walking distance from campus... would highly recommend if you plan to go to anything with the university.

We stayed here for the Garth concert. Sharon was very nice and helpful during our stay. She even used her golf cart to take my 70 year old in-laws up closer to the stadium. Stadium is only about a 10 minute walk. You won’t find a place closer!

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Sharon was very communicative and everything was left as stated. House is walking distance to the game and campus- the perfect location for a large group! We had a blast- thank you Sharon!

Ron and Sharon were very welcoming and also accommodating. The property is within walking distance of the sports area of ND and is a nice, quiet neighborhood. We had some water issues and both Ron and Sharon were extremely helpful and responsive, always just a text away. Plenty of beds for a large group, and full use of the home and grounds. We enjoyed the stay; bottom line was it absolutely perfect? No, but if I were to need a rental in the future, I'd have no issue working with them again. Thank you!

Stayed 3 days for UGA/ND game. House is good for accommodating large group. Great location. Can hear band from front porch on Friday afternoons during pep rally. House has a lot of character and was very clean upon arrival. I doubt we will play ND again in South Bend in my lifetime, but if we did, I would rent this house again.

This was our second stay with Sharon and Ron. They are helpful and considerate. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has what you need. 5-10 minute walking distance to campus. This is their home so it feels lived in and their personal items are around. It is very comfortable and gets exciting on game day with the tailgating in the neighborhood. There is an awesome Martins grocery just shy of walking distance up the road. We used the grill, the pool and the hottub. We had a great time - it's awesome to be so close to campus and take advantage of all that is offered on game weekends. It would be hard to stay anywhere else !
