Our excitement about rental was quickly diminished, as plumbing issues dominated much of our stay. No hot water and defective kitchen sink faucet hardware. The handyman unable to repair. Marbella Group hadn’t been maintaining the property other than cleaning. The “handyman”mentioned that the issue was chronic and yet, they continued to rent the house without repairing the water heater? In our attempt to obtain reasonable compensation for the hassle this caused, we were further unsatisfied. Not worth the price they’re charging for off season.

Overall our stay was great. We loved the view the house had and how close we were to everything. Some not so great things, some of the beds had dirty/ stains on the sheets which wasn’t the greatest thing to find. And we would have like some more clear instructions on check out. There are a lot of stairs so I wouldn’t recommend to families with small kids, but other then that our stay was great

No issues, 3 story with a couple rooms on third story including master. It was foggy a lot of the time, seems to be a generally foggy location, but decent location otherwise. There's a great tub in the master bath. The beds are totally fine, ignore other reviews. 20 minutes to San Fran downtown almost everyday due to traffic. Quick to SFO.

We spent two nights here and would stay again. The property management company was very communicative, and check-in was a breeze. Beautiful ocean views from every window on both levels, lots of space, big kitchen and dining room, very nice bathrooms, and we enjoyed the ping pong table. Echoing a few other reviews - furniture is sparse, and much of it is uncomfortable, especially the living room chairs and mattresses in the front bedrooms. WiFi is great, but if you're working remotely, know that the only desk is in the open loft area next to the living room. Would have appreciated info in the house as is common for VRBOs on local stores, beaches/hikes, restaurant recommendations or menus, etc. We discovered Colombo's Italian deli - amazing sandwiches for breakfast & lunch! For the high cleaning fee was disappointed to find breakfast cereal chunks in the living room and cobwebs and spiders covering the skylight. But all in all, it was a great house and excellent location in a quiet neighborhood convenient to SF.

Property manager was very responsive to questions. The house was spacious and within walking distance of the ocean. The driveway easily accommodated two SUVs. The kitchen had all of the necessary appliances. The bathrooms were clean with copious amounts of hot water. The AC and heating systems worked well for the dynamic weather that exists in this region.

Kitchen appliances and available dishes leave much to be desired. Definitely do not have all the comforts of home such as a blender and sufficient dinner dishes, for example. Oven was dirty inside and made the whole place Smokey when turned on. Fireplace was not usable. Limited parking.

Nice location for a few day getaway.
Relaxing hillside ocean views were the selling point for this listing. It was a nice getaway, but could use some TLC to give a better experience (which I wrote to the property owner separately). Hopefully they fix a few leaking faucets. We enjoyed the amenities provided in the kitchen, and the washer/dryer. It’s a spacious home and could really be amazing with some work. I can say the master bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me, but I heard the guest room was nice. Along with the hillside views comes a lot of stairs. We were slightly disappointed with the lack of things to do. There was no directory or list of recommended attractions, so we had to wing it. It would be nice to include something for people that are not from the area. All in all, we know nothing is perfect and we did enjoy a few days stay.

Great place to stay
We had three families coming together for a birthday celebration with lots of cooking, and we had a great time.
There are 3 nice bedrooms upstairs. The futons in 2 of the bedrooms are OK for kids to sleep on, but not great for adults. The 4th "bedroom" is an open loft area with a full and a twin bed. The beds are comfortable but the area is open to the living room, so not a good place for kids to sleep.
The bathrooms are clean and the master bathroom is beautiful.
The kitchen is clean and well equipped with cookware, and fun to cook in due to the great view! (They're low on glasses and silverware; if you have a large group, maybe bring your own.) There pantry is empty except for some coffee, salt and pepper (no spices/oil/etc). The fridge water filter was working and the water was very tasty. The dining table fit all 11 of us.

SanFrancisco Family Vacay
The home like many homes in this area are multi-leveled. This was OK for our family but could see this as a concern for the older population because of all the stairs. The house had a wonderful kitchen stocked well except a single rusted baking sheet. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable. There were several house repair issues that I saw: loose hand towel rack, loose faucet, missing smoke detector. The garage had a nice ping pong table however there was broken furniture and all kinds of stuff lying around. There are 2 terraces for the home, one had furniture the other did not. The railings were in need of cleaning the mildew/mold. The views from the house are great...we encountered alot of fog during our stay. The beach and town plaza were approximately 4-5 blocks away. We drove instead of walking due to the steep incline and we were walking all day touring the city. We loved the Green Enchilada and Paisanos restaurants. There are multiple bakeries in the area that we did not get time to try. The house is close to airport 15 minutes. Downtown excursions took us about 45 minutes to drive due to traffic. The house was exactly what we needed for our San Francisco Vacay!

Lovely clean property
The house was beautiful and very clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were especially nice. Loved the master bath shower and jetted tub! Mattresses were not as comfortable as hoped and some (the master bedroom bed) had metal frames that were very squeaky. More furniture is needed in the main living area. One couch and one loveseat didn't provide enough seating for our family to sit and watch TV together. Larger groups may have difficulty in that regard. The pictures on VRBO showed extra chairs that weren't there during our stay. Kitchen had basic dishes, utensils, and pots/pans but not as well supplied as other VRBO rentals we have stayed in. Salt, pepper, and sugar were about the only spices available. No extra blankets, pillows or toilet paper in the closets. We had to call about getting another blanket. Still, we did enjoy our stay and thought the property was satisfactory overall. Fog prevented us from seeing the view or enjoying the decks, unfortunately. Just our bad luck.

Well Done
So, my family and I love traveling in our free time, when the budget allows. One of the challenges is finding a place that is clean, conveniently located, and family friendly. This house outdid many.
One of my sore spots with places are the floors, as they may look clean but the socks will tell a different story. The floors here were perfect. The only reason I gave the house a 4 star rating for cleaning was because there was some broken glass in the garage that hadn't been properly cleaned up and required a visit to the ER, and cobwebs in high corners of the home and a couple of windows that needed a little scrubbing.
While I expected to be bombarded with files, flyers and may other documents explaining everything, this home had a couple signs here and there, but otherwise everything was self explanatory, easy to operate.
The home is conveniently located to a park and had amazing views from every corner of the home.
Extras were provided for everything, paper products, towels and such.
Communication was prompt.
We look forward to visiting again sometime.

Great Stay in Pacifica
We wanted a quick getaway to the ocean and this house was very good. It is quite large, with plenty of space for everyone. It has a decent view of the ocean and the location is very well suited for day trips to the beach, to the city, to the zoo, and across the bridge. The only negatives I would say is that it is not as well stocked with supplies as we would have liked and some of the household aspects need a little more upkeep or mild repair.

Beautiful property with magnificent view.
This is definitely one of the top properties out there for this price range. It is close to many restaurants and markets, with a nice small family park just a block away. And of course, the view of the ocean from the balcony. Communication with property manager is quick and easy. Highly recommend.
