Egyszerű, angol volt.
A közös fürdőszobával megkellet barátkozni, de nagyon nem zavart.
Szerencsére kulturált vendégek voltak. Igazi angol kisvárosi " cottage". A házi néniről külön említést kell tenni. Kedves, segítőkész, Profin vezeti a panziót. 10+pontos. Ez úton is köszönöm, hogy megismerhettem.

Well located for Dorking. Beautiful garden. Friendly, helpful host with interesting stories to tell. It was a nice touch to have a self published reflective book in the bedroom to dip into.
Nothing, but there is an option to book directly which offers a cooked breakfast.

The property was fantastic, it’s history with Jill was superb, the Alpacas were great, it’s 10 minutes into Dorking centre, loved it and will be back again.
Nothing much, bathrooms are separate and shared, but that didn’t bother me too much, you can work around that.

One of the most welcoming, clean and calm place I have ever stayed in.
Not all rooms are ensuite.

To mention but a few..... Our welcome following a long journey, The setting, garden and Alpacas. Water feature and points of interest within the garden. Advise and conversation. Locality being an easy walk to Dorking centre. Options for breakfast.
The shared bath / shower room although there was a second loo. As it turned out this was no problem whatsoever. The bedroom had a banging door which we were alerted to. Think my grand daughter only allowed it to close sharply once.....

Shared bathrooms. Didn't realise when I booked

A very good location as surrounded by the countryside yet only a 5 minute walk away from Dorking Town centre
.
The room was quite spacious and included TV & Tea making facilities there is also a communal lounge.
Continental breakfast was nice with plenty of items to choose from
The free WIFI worked well
The outside area is very spacious and a nice place to walk to see the Alpacas that are in the garden
Car parking as avalible at the front of the property
The host was very friendly and knowledgeable

Great location close to the town, yet quiet and peaceful. Beautiful garden.
Breakfast was depressing, including the coffee. I’ve never seen a continental breakfast consisting of one type of bread that falls apart in your hands, five types of jam that all taste the same, just vary in color and a “I can’t believe it’s not butter”.
Hand towel in the shared bathroom for all the guests wasn’t changed the whole weekend and the same for shower mat. Lots of cobwebs. Bad smell throughout, I’m guessing it’s coming from the old wallpapers.

Excellent host and staff, very interesting place. Excellent location for us
Felt that our dog was tolerated rather than welcomed.

A short walk from the town centre - close to some great walks.
Friendly host.
Great shower pressure. (I had my own bathroom.)
Very cute alpacas too :)
Breakfast limited between 7:30-8:15 (not great for those who want a lie-in)
Towel was a little musty smelling - but I’d brought my own, so didn’t ask for another…I’m sure I’d have been given another had I asked.
Heating was on very high throughout the house - thankful that I could adjust the thermostat in my room.

Personal contact with the owner was a large part of the pleasure of being in the house. If the weather had allowed we would certainly have enjoyed the amazing garden.
There seemed to be no lounge for the guests, which was a pity.

A lovely warm welcome and lovely customer service. Having a bicycle was not a problem either.

Chart House is an absolutely adorable place. Jill is a lovely and amazing host. I loved everything about this stay. I was attending the Dorking Wanderers v York City game so I hope we are both in the same division next season so I can return !
The town centre is only 5 minutes walk away and Dorking is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink.
I look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.
