There is no phone signal in the room, so it is impossible to receive calls and text messages. I couldn't connect to the Internet after I entered the WiFi password as instructed. The contact connection above the email also cannot be opened. I drove out and texted customer service where I found a weak signal, but I didn't get a timely response. Eventually I lost all contact with the outside world during my stay.

Getting the key was easy as it was a combination lock. However the place was filthy and absolutely disgusting. We felt uneasy to sit or sleep on the beds as everything in the house was dirty. We had to leave a day earlier as we didn’t feel comfortable staying for the rest of the trip.
Everything was dirty, rooms, couches, beds, floors, bathroom, kitchen utensils. And everything made noise when walking around the house. In the room downstairs you could hear the person using the restroom that was above us. Really not happy with my stay here. Also we were charged $44 for parking and we were not notified of this…

I loved the patio and the big loft upstairs.
The back door didn’t close properly and my dog got out and I was unable to find her until the next day.the pots and pans had dried food on them from the previous renters.the patio had dirty dishes still on it. The power went out,as it very often does up in the mountains, but there was no generator or backup power available and I lost the food I had in the slow cooker and things I had in the freezer.checkout was early so it made the day leaving more difficult.and I do not like the fact that if items are accidentally left that you charge us to look for them and charge us more to ship them instead of giving them the option of picking them up or getting it themselves.

The location was beautiful! I could see a glimpse of the marina and boats. Just a few miles from town. I felt safe in the gated community where they always greet you with a smile!
The cobwebs in the house & hanging down on the walls. They are up high but when I watched TV it was very distracting wondering if there were spiders.

Upon arriving we were very happy, hopeful and comfortable in a home feeling place. The kitchen is large and beautiful, plenty of cooking utensils, couch comfy, wifi worked great, TV was well equipped, everything was perfect until that night when our vacation took a terrifying turn.
Major safety/security issue! One of the bedrooms on the ground level had slatted window blinds which were oddly cut in a perfect square where someone could peep through this bedroom window if they wanted to. Initially I thought nothing of it and covered it just in case one of the kids decided to sleep in there. Thankfully, the kids were asleep on the couch when a potentially deadly and dangerous situation occurred at around 12:30-1am. We were all sound asleep when I heard my dog growl, I heard walking outside of our bedroom windows that I chalked up to raccoon, deer or any other forest creature. Until I heard a loud crash that sounded like breaking wood. At this point my dog barked furiously.. again I assumed it to be a forest animal. Fast forward to the morning. I take the dogs to use the bathroom and right under the window where we heard a crash there was a BROKEN wooden stool, the window screen discarded on the ground as if someone took it off and was using the stool to try and enter the dwelling as we slept. Now I did a full walk inside and out the night before and this wooden stool was NOT there. Someone brought a stool over to the window, took off the screen and was ready to do who knows what. Beware, check every window, cover conveniently missing blinds because there is a peeping Tom or some kind of sick predator in this area. Had the stool not broken, had my dog not barked, had the window not been locked with a wood stopper.. what could have happened? I have pictures of everything, the stool, the screen, the cigarette butt under the discarded screen showing someone smoked before trying to enter the window. I reported all of this to management and thankfully was moved to another rental. However they didn't respond to the photos and email I sent showing what had happened. I feel like someone is going to potentially be in danger by renting this property especially if you are a woman traveling with kids or alone.

Didn’t have any breakfast, wasn’t told about breakfast.
The pictures are line made the house look nicer then it is. Also the pictures show that you have access to the lake. The spa was locked and no key to be able to use it. Over all we were all very disappointed in the stay. So sorry for the bad review but after 15 months and staying at home due to COVID. We were all very excited for a vacation. This was the start of our vacation and I pray it will get better.

The only commendable part of the stay was the location. The house was dirty outdated and uncomfortable, horrible mattress and pillows. The amenities description was inaccurate, when I booked the property more than 1 mo ago, went for it because even though the pool was supposedly closed, it said it had a hot tub. Well the pool was open, but the hot tub was locked and when i called to ask, the Vacasa support told me first that was out of service, then told me that was not currently listed as an amenity. It was beyond disappointing and down hill
From then, never again will use a Vacasa rental or Booking.com

Wonderful accommodations. We did have a few issues. Getting thru the security gate was a problem because Vacasa did not tell them we were coming. A call to Vacasa customer service handled it. I booked this thru Booking.com. I didn't realize another property company would be involved. The only other issues were small cleaning issues like the trash at the bottom of the stairs was overflowing and animals had obviously been snacking there, and the shower was backed up so I took out a hair catcher that was disgusting and had not been cleaned in a while. Other than that, It was very nice. The foosball table was a hit.

The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. The house was charming and comfortable with so much character.
3.8 / 5.0
-The house was stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, towels.
-The owners communicated quickly to any questions I had.
-Some of the dishes were not clean, and most of the pots/pans were burned/charred at the bottom
-The trash bins outside were already filled with someone else’s trash.
Overall, this was an okay place to stay in, we did not take advantage of the Lake and surrounding areas. We spent most of our time in Yosemite, which is still a 1.5 hour drive to get to the middle of Yosemite. The taxes and fees are a little steep, you’re almost paying double on top of the rental and another $31 for parking per car.
