Great location, nice house. Grandparents, daughters and grandkids had a fun time in Savannah. We enjoyed the house with comfy beds, nice linens supplied and even had great beach towels for our day at the beach. Grilled burgers on the grill in large backyard and Grandpa made breakfast every day in our well stocked kitchen. We had a great time!

Loved our family visit! It was perfect for our family and grandparents.
Roomy family environment with cozy seating for (6) family members in the living room. Dining is part of the living area so you can eat while others lounge and watch TV.
One (Queen) bedroom is off the living room with private bath and access to the kitchen.
The other (2) bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house with shared (guest) full-bath. One is a very spacious King size bedroom and the other a Queen. Both with dressers and desk with chair.
Great kitchen with Keurig coffee pot and regular coffee pot. All coffee pods and filters with sugar and honey were there when we arrived (sure it’s from guests so bring or purchase your own from the Krogers, Whole Foods or Market nearby).
Kitchen has ice maker which came in handy for our cooler.
There were extra comforters, pillows and blankets for use.
Parking alongside the house with lots of shade for parking in front of home.
Only (15) mins from River street if you plan on taking the ferry.
This is a very QUIET neighborhood and we loved it!

My family of 5 had a great stay at 'Paula Deen House'. This home is a home away from home. Alot of love and care have been put into this home. It's as advertised and all the amenities was supplied. We had to provide our toothbrush and toothpaste but everything else was provided. Check in and out was easy and Mr Ed was available for assistance. It was great to stay at the home where Paula Deen started her business. I would recommend this home to family and friends if they're in Savannah GA visiting.

I had family at the hospital in Savannah. It was so nice to have a home away from home to be at during their stay. Cozy and lots of character. Neighborhood cute too. Owner easy to communicate with as well.
4.5
The home was nicely appointed. However there was a pervasive musty smell throughout. The dryer is old & ruined a new shirt by jamming it between the drum & frame. Put a hole in the shirt.
There was plenty of room for us & anything you might need was there! The accommodations were spacious & nicely decorated.

This house was perfect for our family and conveniently located to downtown and the islands. This is not a new luxurious house but it is comfortable and charming. I would rather stay somewhere that I feel at home! The owner communication was fast and responsive. We loved the backyard space and grill. Perfect house to be centrally located to Savannah attractions and stay in a historic house with character.

It was a nice property in a good location.

Cute house. Great location. The master bedroom should have a king size bed. Owner should consider having an exterminator come out. We did see a few roaches in the kitchen. Overall, it was a great place to stay. I will recommend this house to others.

Beautifully kept and preserved 3/2 home in the historic district of Savannah. This home boasts so much charm and character through the preservation of original craftsmanship over the decades, it feels like home without sacrificing modern luxuries such as WiFi, propane grills/stovetop, cold A/C, and kitchen/utility appliances. I’d stay here again! Owners were easy to reach to introduce myself and respond in a timely manner.

Very cute house. Had everything we needed. Convenient location for SCAD graduation photos at Forsyth park and not far from Convention Center. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time pretending to be Savannah residents while staying at this property. It’s close to everything! Convenient to stores and a scenic short drive to the downtown area. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and the kitchen made eating at home fun and easy. Outdoor area was great for kids.

House was just what we needed; close to our son’s house (the groom), close to everything we needed, roomy, great neighborhood, and of course, wonderfully special because we are Paula Deen fans, which was a great treat especially for my mother-in-law!
There were a few light bulbs that need replacing and the front door was a little aggravating and hard to get into, but once you got the hang of it, it was ok. I would either fix the door or warn the guests to not think you have the wrong entrance info - to keep trying.
Thank you for sharing this home with us!

House was as advertised and in a quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful spacious, roomy house in a very convenient location!
The only problem we had was working the TVs with all the streaming options. We don't have that in our own home so it was totally foreign to us. Wish there had been more information on how to navigate around the channels & options!

The house was roomy and the beds were comfortable. This is an older home, so don’t expect luxury bathrooms. The location is close to almost everything. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful communication and a great experience overall - thank you!

Super quick drive to downtown. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood. Negatives - not enough toilet paper for a week long stay in a three bedroom house. And dishwasher was the kind needing moved and attached to sink to run.

quiet nice place to stay

Wonderful time
We had a great experience. The house was perfect size for us, it has a cozy feel and it’s very homey. Everything exactly as described and we loved the neighborhood. Little things like a coffee machine, towels and even a washer and dryer made a huge difference in our positive experience.

Affordable Family Stay
We came to town for SCAD graduation. Property was as listed, plenty of room for parking, and comfortable for our family stay. Plenty of towels, kitchen was well-supplied. Backyard patio was a great gathering spot. Owner quickly responded when we had a question.

I needed add’l home for my youngest graduation from BC in Sav.,Ga.! Found this on Vrbo & ease of renting went well for property close to my home for out of town family. Noted dust on all electrical cords, windowsills, top of fridge, a moldy odor in the home, etc.! On day of graduation I noted some family flights not departing & I needed an add’l day! I called Edward(explained situation & told him about the dusty house);I asked would he give me a discounted rate & he posted $199 for the night which I paid. That evening after food had been heated & served family noted numerous baby roaches crawling in the kitchen! There was spray in the cabinet which they used. This is why I have given it 2-3 stars. The owner should fire whatever cleaners he currently has!

Needs LOTS of work -- bathroom tiles broken, rusty heater in bathroom/stove vent, layers of dust on lights, artificial flower arrangements, pictures, etc. Spacious but really needs sprucing up. Biggest issue for us was showers/tub had no grab bars. Yard needed mowing. Overall, a house that was OLD and in poor repair rather than historic looking.

The front door lock was very hard to open. There were roaches in the kitchen. .The house was quirky, in a good way. Overall our stay was good and I would stay there again after the minor problems are taken care of.

Savannah Stay
Enjoyed the trip and house location was fine. House was not very clean and seemed like it had a mildew smell. Had a very difficult time getting in the front door. Lock needs to be changed. I am not sure how this was not brought to your attention in the past.

A railing on the back steps would be nice.
Updated dishwasher - this one is difficult to hook up and water leaks after it stops.
Outside seating is nice, maybe a couple citronella candles for that.
The landscape is overgrown and makes getting to trash and recycle difficult.
light over kitchen sink is not working maybe burnt out.
Overall a very nice home and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked, just missing a pizza cutter!
Thanks, Debbie
