Amazing place to stay in Gozo. Awesome host Sophie.

We would like to thank Sophie for the amazing time we had in her B&B! The house is 400 y.o. and provides a nice local atmosphere. The room was pretty big and clean. The house is super beautiful, with nice furniture and decorations. There are some aroma candles in the house, which smell awesome. We had everything we needed, also towels for the swimming pool. The pool was big enough and clean. The most impressive thing was the breakfast! Sophie and her friend prepared everything themselves every morning! We stayed 3 nights there, therefore we had 3 breakfasts. Every time there was something new, they prepared every time another surprise! The food was very fresh and delicious, but the way they served it was amazing too!!! It was served with so much attention to detail and love! Merci Sophie for the amazing B&B experience in Gozo! One of the best B&B that we ever stayed! Exceptional!

This was a very outstanding experience. The house is very welcoming and clean. Very peaceful environment, tranquil and zen. Sophia the owner was absolutely amazing, friendly, kind, attentive. The breakfast was one of a kind! Simply impressive with amazing selection. Sophie really made an effort in breakfast, it was the best ever breakfast we had in all these years travelling. Definitely it is a must to visit and stay in this beautiful hidden gem 💎 Highly recommended and we can't wait to visit again!

That our holiday was too short, we want to stay longer! 😀

Gorgeous house, outstanding breakfast, and pet friendly

A beautiful property, very calm and welcoming, with a great outdoor area including under cover courtyard, and large pool. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, home made jams, croissants and absolutely five star fruit platters, home made coffee and scrambled eggs, just beautiful. House is spacious, we had our own private terrace. Dog friendly!

Beautiful and relaxing stay.

Our stay with Sophie in her beautiful b&b exceeded our expectations. The building, exterior and interior, was beautiful and the smell was amazing (think entering into a botanical spa with lemon and ginger scents). Everywhere was spotless. We stayed in the room with a Seaview, the photos don't do the terrace justice, it's huge! Beautiful sunsets whilst sipping on some gozian wine. The pool area was beautifully done and pool itself was well kept and big enough to swim laps in. Breakfasts are 10/10 are you will read in many of these reviews. The area is great, 10 min walk into the town square with a selection of bars/restaurants. We used the bolt app to get cabs if we wanted to venture further, this was super easy and cheap, waited no more than 10 mins each time and all parts of the island are quickly accessible.

Sophie took wonderfull care of us during our stay, made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, the garden was so green and romantic and the rooms large and beautiful. Sophie arranged massages for us with a local masseur, that was absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend.

We did not want to leave so soon.

Having stayed in many places around the world - this has to be the most unique b&b we have ever stayed. The rooms and public areas are so beautiful. In better weather the pool would be great. Sophie & her staff were so gracious.

If you visit Gozo for a relaxing time, I'd love to recommend to stay here. Easy to access everywhere, also comfortable and quiet place. Breakfast in a beautiful garden is so special! For lunch and dinner, there are restaurants in Xagha within 10 minutes walking, and can be reached to Marsalforn and Victoria in 5-10 minutes by a car. The hospitality of the owners was also appreciated. She always took care of me and made sure I had a comfortable stay. I definitely spend my next stay here in Malta.

We loved everything about our stay from the moment we arrived. Sophie made us feel very welcome in this beautiful house. The location is excellent, and the rooms were big, bright, and very clean. The breakfast was amazing and very unique! I highly recommend Botanica B&B and will be back for sure!

I liked everything. Very friendly, attentive and extremely nice staff, the place is tidy and clean and organised. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Excellent and perfect. Bfast was divine. Very kind to my dog . Best stay in gozo.

Sophie is such a wonderful lady and really hospitable. The canapes breakfast was delightful, made up of a variety of carefully prepared and decorated small items. The courtyard is nice and peaceful and the pool is pretty large. We had a lovely time at the house and will be back.

You will never forget your stay with Sophie!

The breakfast was the most sumptuous, the most elegant in 160 countries I've travelled The view from the room was stupendous. The novel luggage lift was an inspiration. The ancient circular stairs were a treasure--put me in mind of the wonderful circular staircases in Gaudi's Sagreda Familia in Barcelona!

Please! There was absolutely nothing not to like! And even if there were, the fabulous breakfast would make you forget it in a heartbeat!

Big, well equipped, cozy house with a beautiful, green courtyard owned by the dearest host.

Everything was perfect! Our breakfast looked and tasted like those people get in a 5 star hotel. Botanica is located at the heart of Gozo, everything is close, even by bus. Sophie is the kindest and most helpful host we've ever met. She told us everything we needed to know to make our stay in Gozo easy and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time at Botanica B&B. Sophie was an amazing host and took good care of us, the breakfasts in particular were amazing! The place is very calm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Xaghra is a lovely village with a few great restaurants on the church square, just a few minutes walk from the B&B. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay on Gozo!

Everything! It’s an amazing space where you instantly feel calm in. Sophie, the host is excellent and the breakfast is simply amazing! We had a car and used this location to see the island. Car parking wasn’t an issue and the room was super cool and big. Great power in the shower as well. Great pool to relax in when it was too hot to do anything else!

Pure indulgent escapism in a beautiful house with a wonderful host.

Sophie was the most welcoming host ever from the very moment we arrived, with beautiful welcoming aromas and freshly made lemonade, to the moment we left. Breakfast was amazing - the effort that was put into the food and presentation was the best I’ve ever had. The house itself was beautiful and historic and the pool area was wonderful. It felt like a complete escape from the real world!

Wonderful and welcoming stay at a friendly B&B.

The housekeeper, Sophie, did an exceptional job at welcoming us, explaining the best sights nearby, showing us the house. The breakfasts were far beyond our expectations - fresh fruits, home made pies and nougat, lots of treats beautifully presented in a delightful courtyard. The pool is excellent and welcome.

The wi-fi was a little unreliable, and the little bar fridge did not seem to work, neither was an issue for us in particular.
