Not worth the money.

I was looking forward to the private session of the spa facilities

Room had bugs and flies. No shower gel. Dirty utensils. Our private session was meant to be 8-9, but we were not alone for about 10-15 mins because there was another couple, who should not have been there. Late night there were shouting and banging for some reason. Walls are paper thin so not really ideal.

Many broken things, door didn’t lock, back door broken, wasn’t very clean, rude owners banging on the wall instead of knocking because of noise

Breathtaking

This place is absolutely wonderful, the decor is unique and the surroundings are breathtaking. They go above and beyond when it comes to the details of your stay. We met Lorraine she was lovely and we could tell that she really cared about what she was offering. The pool, hot tub and sauna in the evening were amazing it looked jaw dropping and it was so relaxing. We had afternoon tea on arrival and let's just say there was nothing left as it was too good. The decor had homely finishing touches that you don't get if the hosts don't care or have become too lazy. I would 100% recommend you give this a look as I can't praise it enough :) thank you black barn :)

Disappointing

The location was nice. The surrounding area was very nice.

First when I arrived there was no parking spaces. Then I walked into the black barn to face an open laundry room door with some dirty shoes on the floor. I walked down the hallway to find my room looking for someone to help and was swiftly told to ‘leave this is a a private area!’ (even though the door was open??). I was shown to my room which low and behold hidden behind the door to the private area. Great start to a romantic night away; made to feel like a trespasser! The room itself was not as described, no hot tub included, no self-contained living area and kitchenette (as described)… just …. A room. Inside the draws was someone bag of old lunch. By this point I could still power through but then the neighbours having sex sounded so clear they might as well have been on the end of my bed. We went home at 9-10pm as I just couldn’t stay. Do not recommend!! Looks lovely on the pics, sounds lovely but it is not worth wasting your money on. It feels like someone has put the effort into the property but no attention into the actual stay of the person or the business.

Absolutely enjoyed from start to finish and spotless everywere 100 percent 🤗

I didn’t have a breakfast as when I booked I thought it was included in the price but my mistake.

I liked every piece of black barn farm so quiete tranquil and relaxing

Amazing, super comfortable, left us wanting to come again.

The view from the room was amazing! All the little touches of the room and outside area the lights plants everything was so pretty. It was breath taking. The room was so clean and made up to perfection, the pool, hot tub and outside area was spectacular. Highly recommend!

Amazing private getaway. With a great spa setup.

Facilities were brilliant. They have done a lovely job of the whole house. It’s more like a dream house then a b&b. Spa time is your slot, so no one is allowed in, that’s a great feature. Cake on arrival and we didn't even ask for it! Brilliant. Room was very nice have a 9 because the only thing it was missing was a small mini fridge that would have been great to keep a bottle of water or drink cold for the night.

Nothing. Only thing I would suggest is a mini fridge please because we are definitely coming back!

A perfect stay.

Loved the hot tub surrounded by pretty lights, and the swing outside our room. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were super friendly. The room itself was really clean and even better than I expected. The little touches like tea lights and coffee and tea making facilities were great and the diffusers smelt amazing.

Couldn't help being disappointed that our swing lights weren't working, it was so dark and would have stayed outside a lot longer if they were not a big thing at all I just love fairy lights.

perfect little get away

very clean but also very homely still. lovely pool and hot tub with amazing lay out. We loved this stay it was a perfect little get away. lots to do nearby but could easily just stay in and relax. This booking was a birthday surprise and the decorations were lovely, my partner was so happy. Marie was a great help too & very friendly.

Outstanding place for a romantic retreat.

An amazing place for couples! Beautiful, comfortable and luxurious! Everything was perfect! The pool area was amazing, so tranquil and relaxing. Will definitely come again.

Breakfast was lush. Was just expecting a full English breakfast but they also provided starters with fruit, yogurts and drinks. Tasted so good.

beautiful peaceful stay.

absolutely stunning place, so peaceful and very luxurious. breakfast was absolutely amazing everything cooked to perfection

you don’t really have much information about where the pool hot tub etc is. we stayed 2 nights and thought a room refresh would have been given clean towels bins empty etc we had to ask for more towels as we had used the ones we had for the pool and were pretty wet.
