The property was well kept. Having only one shower was a challenge. The location is in a good spot to reach basically everything. We did the best we could despite the bad weather. Had to ask fire dept one night to come down because we were smelling gas. But yes we would consider coming back. Thanks for your help with everything.

The host was very accessible prior to the visit and throughout our stay. The host went out of her way to check in and offer help during a major power outage in the area - was even concerned about our dog. Great location - quiet, safe and within an easy walking distance from the boardwalk/beach. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great get-away
The house was very open to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The host sent us a lot of information about attractions and made the check in/out process very easy. Out of courtesy, the host contacted us right away with a slight issue about the house before we arrived. Our family enjoyed our stay!! Thank you so much!! Would stay again, for sure!!

It was a pretty nice place to stay with my friends for our senior week. The pictures aren’t as up to date as to what the house looks like but I would say it looks better in person. The property owner, Gwen, was always responding fast to any questions or concerns that we had.

On the positive side the walk to the beach was as advertised and was easy to navigate and the home was pet friendly. Every room had air conditioning and the rooms were all a good size. Also the washer and dryer were a plus. On the negative, very outdated home with very old furniture and dressers in rooms. The refrigerator could not be opened all the way due to the kitchen table being in the way. There is zero backyard as there is a cottage behind that someone lives in. Also went to check in at 3 pm, the cleaning company was still in the house. Also the area is somewhat sketchy but your next to the police station.

The reservation process was super easy and the house was just as described. Close to so many good dining spots and aa short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Great place for dog lovers
The place was just what we wanted - a cottage where our German shepherd wouldn’t bother anyone. It is not as polished as some might like , but it was immaculately clean, comfortable and homey. In other words, perfect for us. Gwen the owner was remarkably responsive, usually immediately. The only downside was you’re a 10 minute walk to the beach/boardwalk. But the neighbors were delightful with charming children. We loved sitting out front watching them play. We came home with nothing but fun memories.

A great experience and memorable
We all had a great time staying here for the week, we are all greatful for the house you rented to us it was perfect and we made a lot of memories that will not be forgotten! It was very roomy and fit our group of friends perfectly. It was a great experience!

Needs some TLC
The property needs some maintenance. Some of the blinds don't work, the front storm door needs to be replaced, it doesn't stay closed because the closer is missing and there is a 1.5" open gap at the bottom to let in critters and the living room carpet needs to be pulled up and replaced because of stains and tears. The previous tenant left us a dirty ashtray and lighter on the coffee table so obviously the house smelled of smoke. They also left a huge pile of trash piled up against the house, more trash than we make in a month or two. The dryer wasn't correctly attached to the outside-vent so the house got hot whenever we used the dryer. The house needs more than the perfunctory cleaning between renters, it needs the windows cleaned inside and out. It needs whatever is causing the nasty smell in the bathroom taken care of. When I emailed Gwendolyn about locating some replacement light bulbs, a nice woman showed up within the hour with replacements. She did refund our cleaning deposit. My grandsons enjoyed being next to the firehouse. Thankfully, they don't sound their sirens as they are going out on a call. There is an Acme a few blocks away. There is a yummy ice cream place an easy walk away and a miniature golf place nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and looked to be more residential renters than vacation renters. We were a bit farther away from the beach than we would have liked but there is a nice ramp onto the beach one block north off the boardwalk for strollers. Right next to the monster trucks! Another grandson favorite. We needed a place without stairs for my parents and a place that accepted dogs for my grand puppy. Both of which this house did.

I have enjoyed my stay at this location. Hospitality was extra extraordinary, Was welcomed from the door, place was comfortable and very clean. Everything we needed was at our exposure, close to the beach was a plus location was wonderful, neighbor were quite. each respected ones parking. would love to come back in the future.

Home Away From Home
Can't wait to return.. Felt like we were Home Owner was very friendly and made herself available if and when we needed her. Location close to beach and shopping centers made the stay great. So happy we could bring our dog there was a big field right next to the property where he could run and we play frisbee with him.. Definitely recommend this location you will not be disappointed

Summer vacation
I loved my weekend in Wildwood. The house was made into a comfortable environment as if I were staying at a friend or relatives house. I utilized just about everything, such as the refrigerator and oven, which saved me some money because I was able to cook and store food I brought at the local Acme without spending money on takeout. I was able to walk to the beach and saved me money on parking. Also had a washer and dryer available which came in handy after the beach. The rooms were beautiful with a different feel to each. My kids stayed in the room with the twin beds which was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Don't waste your time.
To start off, the place was very dirty and the house had a strong odor. We immediately could tell that the house was not cleaned from previous people, the rug on the living room was dirty and the kitchen counters felt like they never been wiped down as well as the kitchen table. Then we checked the rooms and all the rooms were dirty the bed sheets looked dirty and had sand on them as well as the bedroom floors. Both bathrooms were very dirty the floors had hair all over and the bath mats were filthy and the bath tub on the main bathroom had scum all over. On one of the bedrooms with the twin beds, under the bed there were pretzels and a dirty sock.Our 5 day vacation ended up being a 4 day because we spent a whole day cleaning!! i think its ridiculous that there is a charge for a cleaning service when there is absolutely no CLEANING done in this home. To add there was also a broken towel rack and 2 broken chairs from the dinning table. I called the owner of the home and explained to her that we weren't satisfied and she deducted the cleaning service fee and paid us back a day (since we used it from cleaning). I will not be staying here again. But the home has potential it just needs TLC!

Excellent Vacation
I did not know what to really expect upon arriving. I didn't get to see much that night but the next day I was able to tour the town. First starting with the house, very beautiful home inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, four big bedrooms completed with lien on the beds which are very comfortable. A nice size living room with a big flat screen t.v. with cable. I felt very safe because of the alarm and the community was very nice and quiet along with friendly neighbors. Lots of eating places. You must visit the Ship N Shore bar, a live DJ with good music and a very nice atmosphere. Another excellent place to visit is the Dog Tooth restaurant, the food was really good and the prices are reasonable. I had the wings with the sauce on the side and hate I didn't get any to go. The bay and board walk are nice but the amusement park was closed for the winter, but believe me I will be back in the spring and hope to stay in the same location. Try it out I promise you won't regret it.

Good rental for large groups but sketchy neighborhood
Stayed here over a long weekend with 9 friends (age 24-28). House has all the basic amenities that you would need and enough beds for sleeping. The location seems safe being next to the police and fire station, but the neighborhood is somewhat sketchy. Close to the boardwalk/beach and plenty or bars and restaurants which is nice. Unfortunate raw sewage smell coming out of the front bathroom and the freezer would not stay closed so the house needs some work. Also it smells like old cigarette butts and theres some burn holes in the carpet and tables.
If you can overlook some of theses shortcomings you will be satisfied, especially with the low price tag
