The home was beautifully decorated, clean and close to the pool, beach, and restaurants. Some issues with the golf cart, and key codes, and the air cond was set to 72 which was ittle too warm, but overallhad a great week.

This house has the perfect layout for a family vacation! My favorite spot is the back patio on the swing. Love the open concept and plenty of seating. The property management team was so easy to work with and would get back with me immediately when I had a question. The only problem we had was with the grill. It cooks too hot.

Loved the house. Lots of space. Fun covered back patio. Overall a 4 out of 5 experience. However, I did have to call the property manager multiple times to fix various things: broken back door knob, AC leaking in garage, limited AC in guest room, dishwasher kept tripping breaker, etc. Don't like having to have to worry about these things while on vacation. Owner probably needs to put a little TLC into these things, particularly the AC.

We really enjoyed our stay at Destiny Escape. House was great and really close to the beach and restaurants. It was very clean and well maintained. On our second the day, the golf cart that came with the house broke down, but Glass Casa was very responsive and offered us a replacement immediately. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Place

Very much enjoyed the house. The grill didn't cook even so only used it one time. Loved the location so convenient to club house pool, exercise room and tennis. Nice neighborhood. House air conditioner told to leave at 72 seemed to keep home warm but property management sent man to adjust and was more comfortable. Family Vacation
This house is listed a beautiful house and it is pretty but the furniture really needs to be updated and the carpet and rugs need to be cleaned. The AC in the house does not cool the house at all, we had to buy fans to put in each bedroom because it was so hot and there is signs on the walls saying if you turn it down below 72 and it freezes up you will pay to have it fixed. The golf cart signal was taped on by electric tape so it would just hang down. The main problem I had with the owners was I checked in on a Sunday and was called home in an emergency for my mother on Tuesday and they called me and said I owed "x" amount for leaving the trash can out. I explained to them what had happened and they said I still owed "x" amount of money even though I did the checkout button on the app. Never ever cared that I had an emergency. I would never rent the place again or recommend it to anyone. The house needs work on the furniture and AC.

Destin is a beautiful place to vacation.We really enjoyed the community pool. It was never overly crowded and was extremely clean. Destiny Escape is a beautiful home. I did feel that the floors could have been cleaner. There were traps in the corners for roaches and we did kill a large one in the kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms, counters, bed linens were all very clean. The house was updated and spacious. The community is beautiful and very well maintained. The biggest disappoint was the golf cart. It is not street legal because the turn signals and brake lights did not work. We did notify them and a maintenance person came to look at it. He said he would be back to fix it and he never showed up. 2 days into our trip we rented a golf cart and ended up spending $700. I feel like this should be reimbursed since a working golf cart is what was advertised. We rented a pontoon boat and went to Crab much fun!!! Just bring your own floats. They are very expensive to buy once you get to Crab Island so purchase them at a beach store. We look forward to another trip to Destin soon!!!

The home was beautiful, service could be better.
First, the home and location is wonderful. Very clean and well maintained for the most part. Destin is a place everyone needs to visit.
But, some of the furniture needs upgraded, the golf cart needs traded for a new one with the signals and horn not working. The garage door only worked a couple times then we had to manually open it 90% of the time with maintenance unable to fix it? . The pet fees are ridiculous, pet friendly should include the pet fees. The pet fees were absolutely no benefit whatsoever. Costs nearly $400 for 3 small dogs to go with us. Our dogs were house train but when we arrived we noticed our dogs sniffing around on the rugs a lot so we rolled them up thinking the scent of other pets may provoke an accident. To our surprise the rugs were stained terribly through to the back side (with other pet urine stains) so we placed them in the garage to prevent any incidents.
The internet would not pair up with the password given, took a day to get straightened out. Additionally, the trash collection didn’t collect all our trash for some reason? The information stated to place additional trash at the end of our stay in the designated location?? Had no idea where that was, (the specific location was not given) so to prevent a penalty we hauled several bags of garbage back home in the back of our sons truck.
Will we visit again? More than likely but will consider other options. The visit was a success but the service to the wonderful home was less than desired.

Bedrooms and bathrooms other than master are small, no hand towels in bathrooms, no kitchen towels, no WiFi password (it took a full day to get it and caused some issues with my work), bikes were locked, boogie boards are broken, many many rules posted with fines attached, it is kind of intimidating, washer stops in the middle of a cycle you have to open and close the lid to get it to restart... There is a $149 damage waiver fee that is mandatory, which I would think should be an option. The advertised cost is $321 a night, but it actually runs $549 a night with all the fees. Would I rent again, probably. All in all we had a good time, none of the problems we faced were major, they didnt ruin our trip by any means.

Getaway with teenagers
This was a wonderful house! Living room was very spacious, just like pictured. Kitchen roomy.
Master bedroom is huge, an updated carpet in the near future would be a plus.
We were two adults and 6 teenagers 15 - 18 years old. The house felt big and spacious for all of us.
The grill is not the best, but it works. There are two great grills by the pool, that are high quality. We grilled burgers there one night and had a fun time swimming.
The 4 seat golf cart was great to have. We loaded it with all our beach gear and headed to the beach. We had also rented bikes, so whoever didn't fit on the golf cart biked to the beach.
The neighborhood is really nice with walking trails behind the house. We also had our little dog come along, so she liked the walks.
Some of the kitchen utensils could be upgraded. The fry pans were rounded in bottom and hard to heat up. But overall, there was everything we needed.
I would definitely come back and recommend this place to large families.

Great vacation spot
We rented this property for a large family weekend getaway. It was fantastically roomy! Although the property did show some existed wear and tear, we all had a great time. The kids loved the proximity to the playground and we all enjoyed the golf cart to drive to the beach. We would love to return sometime in the summer rather than the cool fall.

The house, location, and management company were wonderful. We had a little problem with a bed support that was broke and they sent a maintenance guy, Mike, out who went and created new boards and fixed the issue within only a couple hours! We brought some small kitchen appliances with us but they were not needed as the kitchen had anything you could need. The house had very tall ceilings and felt extremely spacious for our extended family of 9. It would have been nice to have all the outdoor patio ceiling screens in place but overall it was a great place to stay. While there is no place like home, the beds could stand to be a little softer.

The carpets were very dirty. The grill was never cleaned. Overall it was not what we paid for
The golf cart cut my leg from the metal they used to hold the turn signal together. The bicycle had no brakes and no pedals. The dryer did not work or the bathroom locks didn’t either. The grill was very dirty. The place was dated no upgrades in a long time. They had locks on the outside of the kids rooms. “Very creepy”
The overall condition of the property was not what we paid for
I would never stay here again. I called to complain and all I herd is we can give you a boat ride. Nothing was fixed.

Perfect little house
My family travels to Destin every summer for vacation. Usually we rent homes that are too big, but this year we went looking for one with NO STAIRS. This house is spacious and accommodating to many guests (we had 5 children with us) without stairs and extraneous rooms. The floor plan is private for adults and it offers plenty of restrooms. A short ride to walk to the beach (5 minutes by golf cart). The pool was lovely and is literally in the backyard, just beyond the patio and a sidewalk, easy walk. The community is quiet and family-friendly. Close to everything. I highly recommend this property. BUT if you’ve ever rented a house before you know it often comes with “goodies” other renters have left behind (salt and pepper, tin foil, trash bags, laundry detergent). This house has none of that. You must bring everything you will need (plates and utensils are available of course) but anything left behind has been purged. In our vast house renting experience, we always find these conveniences that other renters have left behind, and pay it forward with remainders of our own items.
