The location of The Hide is perfect. The tram stop is right outside the front entrance but, everything is only a short walk away. There is a night shop opposite which was handy as well as lots of local restaurants. The apartment is very stylish and has everything you could want as well as being behind an electric gate which felt very safe and secure. The area is quiet, but also you have the option of local bars/pubs if you fancy a drink. The hosts were very helpful and got back to us quickly with any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Ghent.
The bathroom only had a curtain separating it from the main living space, rather than a door, and the shower didn't have a hook for the head to have stand up shower. The heating was a little tricky to figure out so it would be great to have a guide for future visits.

Fine location, comfortable bed.
Weird vibe in communications, pitched at young people--"Hello, seeker!" and suchlike. Red satin sheets (!). Hard to understand heating and lighting system, but quick response to text about it.

Open. High ceiling. Close to two supermarkets and tram station Coffee machine Easy living and a garden area
A touch noicy but being city dwellers we quickly got used to it

We had an amazing stay at The Hide! Nele was amazing and so helpful. She responded to all my questions almost immediately and we felt at home during our stay.

superb customer service - excellent location, easy walking distance to centre but slightly quieter location, excellent shops and restaurants around. can’t recommend this highly enough

Very nice and clean apartment. It has everything you need for a short stay and is very comfortable. The location was excellent, lots of local restaurants, cafes and bars and a ten min walk into the centre.
It really needs a window to let fresh air in, the back door should open at the top but it was jammed and there are no other windows

The room was very beautiful and clean. Dog bowls and dog bed were provided for our dog too. Very thoughtful and helpful host.

Great location, quiet, enclosed and secure, dog friendly
Almost nothing not to like

Great location, central but quiet, near a supermarket and restaurants. Bright and light. Very responsive host. Garden for summer.
We liked everything but it would be a good idea to install a towel rail below the basin area.

nice location, charm
hot water insufficient
code of room did not work when we arrived

The apartment is really well located, on a great street into the centre with some lovely restaurants. Its really well equipped and the whole check-in process was so easy.
For light sleepers, the tram can keep you awake. It may be because we were on the ground floor, but you can hear the tram reverberating which wasn't great. Also, the pillows are really uncomfortable as they are massive, so I bought my own.

everything! They have done an amazing job there. the place triggers your inner child even before you go there, way more when you arrive. The location is at one of the best less touristic and more hype neighborhoods. Rooms are spacious, clean, and so cute you wanna actually stay there. The owners are very accommodating and will help you out with anything. Dont forget to get your coffee around the corner at Goya cafe and if you are a ramen lover like we are, don’t forget to try Miss U 5 minutes away from The Hide!

Unique apartment in a great location. The apartment is very spacious and well fitted and was perfect for a weekend with family. A lot of thought had gone in to making us welcome and we loved the notes and special touches. We would highly recommend and come again
We loved it all

So much more fun compared to being in a hotel with two separate rooms as in this penthouse each couple has its privacy in your own bedroom / bathroom but can be together in a lovely communal area with fully equipped modern kitchen and a lovely lounge with balcony overlooking part of the city.
Can't think of anything we did not like.

Comfy, everything you need, nice size, close to centre but easy walk to station, welcoming atmosphere, imaginative and practical, helpful, shops and good places to walk on doorstep.

the Duende room was so cleverly designed and perfect for a couple for a few days. good base to explore Ghent. we’ll stocked it Chen in terms of utensils and basic seasonings and oil. the bed was quite comfy. the grounds were very nice and getting in and out using the code was a breeze. the only thing that would have made this even more perfect would have been a. bathrobe and slippers to wear after taking a nice warm shower, but hey, can’t really complain about not having that.

The apartment is nicely renovated and all new and fresh in the center part of Ghent, in walking distance to all major attractions, restaurants, cafés, etc., so the location is top. However, due to the central location, it has been also quite noisy during the night because of guests from close-by bars or restaurants that are having fun in the middle of the night. Other than that, the apartment is super-cozy with a well equipped kitchen and super-modern interior and bath rooms. The access to the roof-top terrace is nice as well, especially in the summer. We also loved that there was a SPAR supermarket around the corner, so it was super-convenient to do food shopping in the morning or evening.
We didn't sleep very well because of two much noise happening in the night from nearby bars or restaurants. This is probably the downside if you have a location that is pretty central and close to such places.

excellent furnishings, host was very responsive, gave the option of early check-in without asking, location is perfect right next to a tram stop and 3 stops away from the center

Location, style, vibe, equipment, facilities, everything was great. Excellent communication with Nele beforehand. 10 minute walk into the old town if you want the tourist attractions. Surrounded by little cafes. Good Wi-Fi. Tram line right outside.
Just that we didn’t book it for longer. Wish we had stayed a week. I’m sure we could live there actually.
