Sehr schönes Aparthotel etwas abseits der Altstadt

Die Mitarbeiter sowohl im Hotel als auch Restaurant waren sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir fanden die Lage auch ganz gut etwas außerhalb, auch wenn man dann ein wenig in die Altstadt (ca. 15 Minuten) laufen musste. Für uns war es nicht so weit und wir fanden den Weg am Kanal echt schön. Für uns war auch das Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend. Unser Zimmer und die Zimmerausstattung hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, besonders der Kühlschrank und die kleine Kochnische waren sehr praktisch.

Die Decken waren etwas groß für die schmalen Betten, man gewöhnt sich aber dran und wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen. Ansonsten empfehle ich Leuten mit längeren Haaren, einen eigenen Fön mitzubringen, da der bereitgestellte in der Unterkunft sehr klein und nicht kräftig war, dadurch hat das Fönen ewig gedauert.

Absolut empfehlenswer

Ein tolles Familienzimmer mit Zusatzbett im Wohnbereich, eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank und Eisfach. Die Rezeptionsdame war mehr als zuvorkommend und hat für uns alles wichtige mit dem Auto geregelt. Es war alles perfekt. Klimatisierte Räume, parken vor dem Haus. Sehr z Zentral gelegen, 15 min zu Fuß in die wunderschönen Innenstadt. Das einzige was ich vermisst habe, waren belgischen Waffeln zum Frühstück.

Gutes Frühstück, Zimmer mit Schallschutzfenstern, Stadtzentrum ist zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer lässt sich von Hand nicht direkt ausschalten.

Fijne locatie op loopafstand van centrum, ruime kamer.

Locatie is vlakbij het centrum, ruime kamer met aparte slaapkamer en badkamer met fijn bad. Keuken niet gebruikt, maar de koelkast is handig. Horren voor de ramen. Genoeg zitplaatsen om rustig te ontbijten. Ontbijt is oke. Wifi is goed. Parkeren is beschikbaar als je van te voren reserveert.

De inrichting van de kamer is niet gezellig, veel donker bruin, maar ja dat zie je op de foto's al. Jammer dat de bank echt niet lekker zit.

L'accueil très sympa et personnel serviable Hotel au calme Petit dejeuner sous forme de buffet très bien Appartement très propre Parking très bien : on a pu se garer avant 15h et laisser notre voiture après avoir libérer la chambre le lendemain. Tout était parfait !

Home away from home

Great location. 15 min walk into the town centre. Bus stop outside straight to the station. Quiet, didn’t hear anything from neighbours. The little kitchenette was handy so I could do a shop and not have to eat out each night. The apartment was spacious and English channels on tv which is always a plus. Sandra on reception was lovely. Friendly, helpful and always smiling.

Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking like sleeping on a big marshmallow. Also safe was on the bottom shelf of cupboard despite there being 3 shelves above. Could have done with it on a higher shelf instead of having to get down on all fours each time.

Very clean. Very uncomfortable sofa and beds. Hosekeeping a bit to early in the morning. Breakfast is until 10.00 AM. Houskeeping knocking at the door at 08.15. One day they did mot return and we did not get clean towles and refill of toilet paper. Location is fantastic. Just between the city centre and train station. Also a very quiet area. Good food and service in the restaurant.

To eraly hosekeeping, and should have invested in a sofa one could actually sit in. And maybe some more sleeping comfort.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en toplocatie!

Toen ik zei dat we onze fietsen bij hadden, heeft die van de receptie onmiddellijk geregeld dat we onze fietsen in de garage mochten zetten. In onze familiekamer was ook een senseo en patches, dus konden we voor het ontbijt al genieten van een koffietje. Het ontbijt was trouwens ook top! Alles werd goed aangevuld. Eitjes, spek, vers fruit, heel lekkere yoghurt,...

We sliepen aan de voorzijde van het hotel. Dus met het raam open slapen was geen optie, te veel last van het verkeer.

Aangenaam en rustig . Het weer viel tegen

De bereidwilligheid van het personeel . Legde ons de weg uit naar het Capitool . Stelde de veiligste weg voor . Hadden er begrip voor dat er vroeg geluncht moest worden om op tijd ter plaatsen te zijn . Zeer vriendelijk personeel .

Alles was in orde voor een verblijf van een nacht .

Very good hotel, close enough to the centre if you are happy walking for 20 min.

Large rooms, well equipped and good facilities (mini-apartment, so hob and kitchen essentials - not used in our case). Comfortable beds. Air conditioning very quiet and effective. Very helpful and pleasant receptionist.

Be nice to have an iron for creased clothes after travelling.

Very welcoming staff, extremely friendly. Hired a bike which was great.

Air conditioning leaked overnight and kept us awake dripping. When we reported it, as it kept my husband awake they said oh dear not again. They had no spare rooms so we had to accept it. No discount was offered.

Apartment hotel not far from Gent Zuid

Located a bit off the city center, 10 - 15 min walk from Gent Zuid station, in a quiet neighborhood. Easy and quick check-in and check-out. I've arrived on Sunday afternoon, so personnel called me and waited for me. Spacious apartment, living and sleeping rooms, equipped with convenient furniture, including a sofa and a chair, TV, kitchenware, kitchenette and a refrigerator. Bathtub and hairdryer are appreciated. Daily room cleaning. Breakfast was included in the price.

2nd floor garden view is not very exciting. Very noisy AC in the room, external sounds from elevator also were clearly heard. Only one clothes hanger was available. Walls are dark colored. Breakfast is basic, with no variation during the day. Not all personnel are nice and friendly.

Just what we hoped, for a comfortable problem-free stay in a beautiful city with Cathedral view

Very clean and thoughtfully equipped for what we needed. Very helpful staff. Good restaurant next door. Easy parking with quick walk into centre or easy bus ride. Excellent maps provided.

Overall excellent for a short stay. Lack of working phone could be problematic. Loose tap in kitchen sink needs fixing.

This Hotel is a good option for long stay

The location is good, not very far from the Centre. The hotel has parking even for electric car. The room/apartment has enough facilities to cook meal by yourself. Breakfast was quite good. The room's furniture are all new.

I had a bit difficult to do the check-in at my arrival because on Sunday the reception is closed. It would have been better to receive some further instructions by email or messages.

If returning to Ghent, we would book again.

It was a perfect spot we were nicely greeted and suggestions for our visit were offered. The included breakfast was wonderful. The area was quiet and we felt safe as we walked in the neighborhood.

It was a little further from town center than we would have liked……a good twenty minute walk. We like to walk so we were okay but it could be difficult for some.
