About this house rental

Located on the most desirable bay front street on Balboa Island and completely renovated in 2017 and refreshed every year, offers sweeping views of Newport Harbor, sunsets and the iconic Pavilion. Enjoy the ever changing boating scene from the front row vantage point! The home consists of two exquisitely designed rental units, rented separately , each with A/C, a gas barbecue, washer/dryer, 1 car garage and just minutes to the Island Ferry and Peninsula Fun Zone.

The Upper Unit of the up and down duplex has a panoramic view deck overlooking the harbor, ideal for outdoor dining. The living room has two charming day beds with storage which can be used by younger guests for sleeping, as well as a gas fireplace. The adjacent open kitchen features a 6 burner stainless gas range with dual ovens, honed Black Absolute granite counters and a spacious single basin sink. The master bedroom with king bed has an en suite bath with lovely white marble counters with dual vanities. There is a second bedroom with a king bed and en suite bath which also serves as a guest bathroom for visitors, as well as a third bedroom with king bed and en suite bath. Very chic, light and bright decor with ceiling fans throughout.

This is by far the best VRBO that we have stayed in. The house is incredible, clean, perfect location and breathtaking views. Laura is fantastic and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the house is overall beautiful. There were a few issues I would like to share with the owners though. This is a luxury rental and details matter. Many of the glasses in the cabinets were very dirty. Champagne mostly. We had to wash them all for our stay. Also, the beach towels had been hanging there for a very long time as they were hard and framed with the hook when you took them off. Those should be washed between every rental. Many of the bathroom towels were also on hooks. Due to the beach towels, I was not confident they had been cleaned. The fireplace also didn’t work during our stay, but they came to fix it fairly quickly. A few of the wall lamps also didn’t work. Assuming the bulbs haven’t been replaced. You may also want to get some better knifes. We had filets and struggled with the knives provided. Lastly, the couch cushion outside needs to be replaced or refilled. Again, the house is lovely and Julie was awesome. You just have to tighten up the cleaning and maintenance process a bit. Thanks again for the wonderful week! We will most likely be back!

Communication before arrival communication was fantastic, and hard to believe it was possible, but the unit is even more beautiful than the pictures show, with a location that you can’t beat! The unit was absolutely immaculate and stocked perfectly. Also, top it all off, the property manager was amazing! We hope to come back again and again and again! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

The bay front home is beautiful! We absolutely loved sitting on our deck and watching the boats, water and people. The beds are very comfortable. The interior of the house is decorated beautifully. Everything was in perfect order when we arrived. We loved the location, beautiful views with boats and people cruising by during the day, plus lovely sunsets and then wonderfully quiet at night. This unit is beautifully updated and maintained. Plenty of everything. ( towels, dishes etc) We kayaked on Lido. Rode bikes around the Back Bay bike trail. House manager Julie was responsive and so friendly. We love this place.

This is our second time staying here and it's just amazing. Perfect for 3 adult couples (3 King Beds, with their own bathrooms). Perfect location right on the water, 5 minute walk to the ferry, 10 minute walk to the main downtown area. We just picked up food from a local restaurant and ate it out on our large patio or in the dining room each evening. Can't beat the views! Well appointed with comfortable furniture, cozy fireplace, kitchen came well equipped, and off street parking. We will be back!!!

Beautiful property inside and out in a wonderful location! Would have appreciated our stay a little more if: 1) The home was ready for us to occupy at the 4 PM check in time 2) The tenants on the first floor were not noisy at all hours of the day & night 3) The home was equipped with a few things that we have come to expect from other "high-end" VRBO rentals such as kleenex/tissues, 2 ply toilet paper, travel size shampoo & conditioner in the showers, AND A FUNCTIONAL ICE MAKER IN THE BUILT IN REFRIGERATOR.

Staying at this property is the best of the best on Balboa Island. The accommodations are comfortable and perfect for watching the boats go bye. You can walk around the island, eat at local restaurants or have a meal in the easy to use kitchen. Both the furniture and beds are more than comfortable. We will be back!!
