This is THE Tahoe vacation home that offers something for everyone. This big, beautiful home is located in the heart of North Lake Tahoe, close to the lake, and twenty minutes from Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), and Northstar. This quality vacation rental offers modern appointments with a cozy mountain feel. It is a finely crafted home, elegant to the eye, but hardy enough for the family.
The upper level of the home is very social and consists of a beautiful kitchen, complete with top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The family room is large and finely appointed with a real wood fireplace, flatscreen TV and upper deck with peak views of the lake. The Primary bedroom is located on this floor and includes a very nice ensuite bath with separate soaking tub and shower stall. The lower level of the home is set up for fun with a pool table, wet bar, and TV/entertainment center. Three bedrooms are downstairs, including the bunk room that shares a bathroom with one of the king bedrooms.
The upper deck has two picnic tables, a stainless steel grill, and a heat lamp, perfect for evening dining. The lower deck has the hot tub and is a great place to relax. The yard is perfect for fun in the summer, gated and well manicured. In the winter the kids can take a toboggan run. This property was huge with multi levels that easily accommodated 12 of us. The pool table, hot tub, and outdoor area were perfect to unwind after a long day around the lake. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped to cook large meals. Quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants and stores along the North Shore. We will rent this property again!g

We really enjoyed our stay at Fawn View. The home was very comfortable and well maintained. While we only got to ski 2 days because of the record snowfall, we kept busy sledding and snowboarding down the street in front of the house. Would have been nice if the ice maker worked on the refrigerator.

All in all, this place was great, we've been coming here for sometime now, but this trip we found multiple kitchen items that were left dirty (utensils, plates, bowls, pots, glasses) We found a bowl that the last occupants used for chips or something, and crumbs were left behind, they couldn't even rise it. With COVID and all, this did not leave me with peace of mind. We felt we had to clean all the kitchen items before using.

This home is amaZing! With multiple sleeping spaces, bathrooms, tonnes of activities in and around the house AND a really nice spa you can not go wrong with this home for a large group! You even get a glimpse of the water! The home is in a community with paved streets to walk through however beyond that you have to drive to most restaurants, beaches etc. We did feel a little weird with all the family pictures staring at us all the time, especially in the MasterBedroom. Nature (Fires NTahoe 2021) disrupted a few things before and during our stay however we made the best of it! Our concert and reason for travel was canceled but 3 couples still went (Home was originally for 10pp, 5 couples) The other half could not come because the severe health conditions and the breathing environment (the days were were there were noted to be the worst in some years)
Otherwise this property management staff's communication after booking was very dehumanized. "I don't really care and too bad" kind of attitude to our situation made our group a little sour. A last min booking and we forgot to add insurance to our stay. Lesson learned, during fire season get insurance!! We would definitely rent this home again if we could rent directly with the owner or a different property manager.

Perfect for family and friends
Loved this house! Plenty of room for everyone! We had 9 people and a 2 year old. The pool table room was a big hit as was the hot tub, horse show pits and the corn hole. Lots of board games to choose from. Nice neighborhood. Beautiful view and very close to town. Thank you to the owners of your wonderful home!

Great house and great location. Sadly, I was almost harassed to sign an absurd side contract
The house is large, has a great location, plenty of beds and awesome amenities. It was clean and we had no issues whatsoever. This should be a straightforward 5-star rating, however, we (guests) have to stand up for rental managers' malpractices, since that's the only way things will be fixed - and that's what I'll do here. First, I was harassed by multiple phone calls that were declined (as I was in a meeting). When I finally picked up the phone and said it wasn't a good time, they said they couldn't text or call later - ridiculous customer service. Then, I was forced to sign an outrageous contract before checking in. It had requirements that couldn't be met, such as paying for the rental 60 days in advance (when I was making the reservation just 6 days ahead of the stay). It had unreasonable and unfair clauses, such as the guest bearing the risk of the hot tub and other amenities being unavailable. You can't rent a house with a headline "large house with hot tub" then force guests to sign a waiver that says "hey all of this might not be available and we won't do anything about it". There were several other examples, but in the end, I can't understand why Vrbo hasn't cracked down on these practices

Loved It!
The rental was beautiful, it was nice and clean and had everything you could possibly need (even a little tool drawer which actually came in handy!) The indoor jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot tub were both so relaxing, and the home had pretty views into the trees and was in a peaceful environment. Dealing with Tahoe Getaways was super easy, they were very responsive and clear about what they expected, and any questions we had were promptly answered. I would definitely rent from here and from Tahoe Getaways again!

Amazing Home-
We rented the Fawn dr property for a week. We are from the Washington DC area and had family meeting us from San Francisco and Reno. We all stayed at the house - we were never on top of each other - with two balconies, a huge fully equiped kitchen, dining area, two family room areas and 4 bathrooms! We felt so at home in this house. Quiet neighborhood in the trees. Even decent peek views of the lake! Renting was so easy. The property is so well taken care of - so happy we stayed.

Beautiful Home
As always this is a very comfortable home for our family. We always look forward to this vacation and the stay is never long enough. The kitchen is equipped nicely. With the exception of the one bed in the downstairs bedroom all the others are very comfortable. That one is just too firm. Our only other critique would be to provide more paper products for this size of house as we had 10 guests. Only two rolls of paper towels for a 5 night stay, no napkins and not enough toilet paper to last for the duration of the stay. Also we wanted to let you know the trash bags for the compactor are not the correct ones. These are all minor items and easily adjusted.

LOVED our stay at the Fawn House
We had 5 couples staying at the Fawn house. EVERYONE had their own rooms with comfy beds. We skied 2 days and it was so nice to come back to a cozy home with hot tub. Our evenings were spent around the living room fireplace or downstairs some playing pool, others working on a puzzle. All the kitchen amenities were greatly appreciated. We all would book this place again if the opportunity arises winter 2020.
Only negative comment is if you have a large group of adults who are coffee drinkers an
insulated carafe for coffee would be great. Also, we probably should have called to let you know the hot tub chemicals were out of whack 2nd day of tubbing. We didn't stay in too long so no big deal.
Overall a great stay for us! Beautiful comfortable home for a large group. I would highly recommend a stay at the Fawn House.

Big house with great layout and location.
We had a wonderful Christmas with our extended family in this lovely home. Perfect layout for a large group. Nice little side yard for the kiddos to play in the snow and even sled a short little run. Beds and pillows were comfortable also, which is not always the case with rental homes. Thank you for sharing your home!

We love this beautiful cabin! We had a special birthday celebration with kids and grandkids – enough room for everyone! The cabin is tastefully decorated with peak views of the lake which we really enjoyed! We had fun playing pool and darts, and using the hot tub. We went to a nearby snow park and had a blast! The only downside was a previous guest must have brought a big dog and did not clean up after it in the backyard. Some of our grandkids have the misfortune of stepping in it. We found a shovel and took care of someone else's mess. Beyond that everything was fantastic! We will be back!

We had a memorial for our beloved Randy on Mt. Rose/Slide Mtn. and the house was perfect for our needs. Randy won his first pro race there. The family enjoyed the big kitchen. Lots of room for togetherness or moments of solitude. Everything was perfect. We had the reception at the house and it easily accommodated the larger group. My only complaint was the dangerously loose upper deck railing. If Randy were alive he would have secured that. He was a contractor and learned his trade in the area back in the 70's and 80's.

The property met our needs because of the size and also 3 king size beds, which is important for some of the tall men. Minor issues that we didn't wine glasses! Well honestly, I think there was one and a few beer mugs. But bringing good wine on vacation and drinking out of a juice glass leaves something to be desired. We could not get the lights on the upper deck to come on, and the railing was loose which was a bit scary with the kids. It is in a great location, the playground area was great for kids. All in all, a nice week's vacation up in Tahoe.

I am a mom of three, and my hubby and I came with our kids and three other similar families to stay in this house for four nights. There was plenty of room for us to each have our own space, plus a fabulous great room with enough comfy seating for all adults. We loved the big table and bar for ease of feeding small kids. We LOVED the big, fully stocked kitchen! It is truly made for making lots of food for a big crowd! The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, and we loved the four-minute drive to public beaches. The price is a bit high, but worth it since the house had pretty much everything we needed!
