About this villa rental
At Villa Suzanne you can begin your day with a stunning sunrise viewed from the spacious terrace with panoramic views of the crystal blue ocean, Dawn Beach and the island of Saint Barth’s. During the day you can take a dip in our spacious pool or visit one of the many beautiful beaches on island
Most beaches on the Island, such as Anse Marcel, , Baie Rouge, Mullet Bay, Friars Bay, Karakters, and Le Galion, are all within 25 minutes.
In the evening Villa Suzanne turns magical with its soft lighting on the terraces and in the pool. Dine on the terrace and enjoy the gentle trade winds and the swaying palm trees. If you choose privacy or solitude you can retreat to the pergola and enjoy the gardens and exotic flora; perhaps, read a book or just relax.
Our terraces provide some truly beautiful views of the ocean and at night the lights on the hillside are lovely.
There are many fine restaurants available within a 5-20-minute drive or you can go to Grand Case, the epicurean capitol of the Caribbean, with many world class restaurants just 25 minutes away.
Villa Suzanne was designed by Francois Jaulin, a very talented and highly respected architect on island. He was instrumental in selecting all the materials and design of the custom made doors, windows, and cabinets, all of which were made on Island by a premier cabinet maker. He also selected the porcelain tile used throughout the villa, along with the travertine design patterns used in the bathrooms. His attention to detail was extraordinary and the results are truly beautiful.
When you first enter Villa Suzanne you will walk through an arched door framing the view of the spacious pool and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Beyond the entrance way is the spacious living room/dining room. From the living room there is a 26-foot expanse of glass sliding doors that slide into the wall and open up to the outside terrace and pool with breathtaking ocean views. The living area of the villa has beautiful furnishings that are comfortable and have a Caribbean beach vibe.
The kitchen has great views of the water, Dawn Beach and St Barth’s. There is plenty of granite counter space, plenty of cabinets, and it is fully equipped with dishes, serving pieces, pots, pans and glassware. Appliances include refrigerator/freezer/icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and a gas cook top located on the island.
You have your choice to dine outside on the terrace enjoying the beautiful views and listening to the breaking waves or inside with a more formal setting where there is a long table that can seat 8 people comfortably. There is a nice selection of place mats and napkins.
The outside terrace has ample room and furniture to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean weather. Whether you want to swim in the pool, relax in one of our 8 chaise lounges and get a tan or sit on one of the many plantation chairs under the covered terrace out of the sun to read or catch a nap.
The villa has 4 spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom has a king size bed, built in closet space, safe, ceiling fan and an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms are air conditioned, and for those who do not like ac, we have found by opening the slats on the custom doors and windows, it allows the trade winds to keep you very comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious with travertine on the floors, shower and walls. Every bedroom has amazing views of the ocean.

Upon your arrival on island, should you need someone to show you back to the villa, please let us know.
Catherine will be at the villa to greet you, show you around, answer any questions you may have, and give you the keys and remotes. She is very helpful and knows the island very well.

We had 4 girls on our girls trip. The house was Amazing! The pool and views from the pool were amazing as well! LOVED everything! We only left the house a couple days to go shopping and sight seeing. The rest of the days we spent in the pool looking at the beautiful blue water in the ocean. The only thing that happened on our stay was the day before we were leaving there was no water all day. My phone wouldnt call or text so i whats apped the care taker and she wasnt by wifi all day and didnt get my msg till late that night. She sent someone to fix the problem which was fixed in 5 minutes. That was a little unnerving but other than that we had The most Amazing vacation and are booked for next March to vacation in paradise again.

It's not a million-dollar view, it's a $10 million dollar view. We stayed in March and had a big issue with bugs/mosquitos. They need to have the netting around all the beds. The other issue is that the doors from the bedroom to the outside deck is not full enclosed. There is a screen and there are slats. If you stand outside the bedroom door, you can literally hear the conversation. My wife and I realized this when we snuck away for a "nap" and realized we had to be extra quiet as we knew the teenagers on the pool deck could hear us. A creeky bed only added to the strain.
The house is very well equipped with everything from puzzles to beach chairs to binoculars. Just look around and most anything you need will be there. Many places are bare bones, this is not, and that makes for a better stay.
The walk to Dawn Beach was easy. 15-minute drive to the orient beach. We rented a four-runner. We highly recommend if you stay here, you rent something similar. Words can't adequately describe how steep some of the hills are. We saw one of the smaller cars have to let people out of the car so it could make it up the hill. Get a big vehichle.

Wowza, this a beautiful property along with the best little beach to spend some time in at total paradise! This was our 1st visit to Dawn Beach area and we could not have found a more stunning property. The property exceeded all of our expectations. Upon arrival is was such a nice surprise to find a beautiful gift basket filled with lots of snacks, treats & wine. The villa has the most breathtaking views from all 4 bedrooms and the entire living space. The outdoor patio space and infinity pool were awe-inspiring to spend some relaxing days and evening at. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children and we had more space than we needed to be comfortable for 9 days. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. We had a rental car and found this property to be centrally located to grocery shopping and many wonderful quaint restaurants and little beach bars. The beach has the softest white sand we have ever seen and walked on with the most incredible clear blue water. We have visited many of the Caribbean islands and this is our new favorite. We are already planning for our next visit in this same villa for next February. We have recommended this property to all our friends and family. Thank you for sharing your astonishing property with us. We had a extraordinary family trip with lots of new priceless memories!

The Suzanne is a wonderful property. The only thing we did not like is that we had hoped we would have someone cook a meal or two to us as advertised in the VRBO listing.

Family of 7 adults rented this house for the holidays. Very comfortable 4 large bedrooms, killer view. Pool and outside area is where we spent most of the time when home. Would rent again.

The home is as advertised. It is large, and open, with incredible views of Dawn Beach and the ocean. The pool is also large, very clean, and well-lit at night. The bedrooms are well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. Overall, and great experience and we would certainly return.

This house and location exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely perfect and the view was one of the most beautiful we've had from a VRBO rental. I highly recommend you rent a car with plenty of power as we struggled getting up a steep hill when it rained. If you're an adventurer then there is more than you can do in a week's time. Or if you just like to relax at the house then you couldn't make a better choice with this one. If and when we ever come back we will definitely stay at Villa Suzanne.

House was beautiful, clean and ready for our arrival. Our daughter is in a mechanical wheelchair. The house design worked very well for her free movement. The views kept us entertained all day and night. The house keeper Catherine and her assistant Claire were friendly, efficient and helpful with our many questions. The pool guy was also friendly and efficient.
We highly recommend the home for a family or a group of friends.

The villa was advertised. Each room and bathroom was large and in excellent condition. Pool and outdoor area was lovely. A little windy this past week so we spent most of time at the protected beaches on the French side of the island

We were greeted by the housekeeper Catherine with a beautiful welcome basket.
We booked our honeymoon for 10 days with 3 other couples in the house. Everything was beautiful. Pool was very cold for swimming and beach was a short 3 min walk but very windy.
It’s a must to have a vehicle as lots of hills to get anywhere.
Owners were fantastic to deal with prior to our arrival.

The home was lovely with beautiful views, the home was clean, and we really like the disposition of the housekeeper, Clair.
However, the reason we chose this property over other VRBO property was the view and the pool. When we got there the pool was dirty, and had not been cleaned in a month. The pool guy came after much instance from us, and we were advised that the property owner, had known the pool needed a new pump for a month, so he was aware the pool was not operable when he rented us the home. We had to go to the property next door and rent another condo, in order to have pool facilities. When we requested the homeowner compensate us for our inconvenience and expense e they offered a 200.00 refund, when we didn’t except, they then offered a 500.00 refund. We requested they comp us another week next year, after pool had been repaired, they refused. We would have understood had they not already been aware of the problem before we rented. When we arrived the Only TV in the house did not work, and the coffee pot did not work, they did replace those after we had been there two days.

What can I say? This property is everything it says it is and more! We had a fabulous time staying at Villa Suzanne . It was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy our first time in St Martin. Catherine is such a gem and fabulous!

Wow wow wow. We’ve been home for a couple weeks and I just can’t wait to go back. The location is amazing. Catherine, the housekeeper, is a treasure, and everything about the house is a dream. The thing I most loved? Hearing the waves crashing night and day. It was so calming and enjoyable. Many days and nights were spent just lounging, hearing the water. If I could improve upon one thing, it would be better mattresses. But that’s splitting hairs; sleeping on the couch would be just fine in such a wonderful house!! We will absolutely be back!!!

Villa Suanne is everything it says and more!
Our family stayed at Villa Suzanne for a week, and it was everything we had hoped for, the place is wonderful! We had all four bedrooms and everyone loved them. Lots of room and places to just hangout and be together. The kitchen is very well equipped and we fixed several incredible meals while there. You will want to rent a car as you have to drive to whatever places and things you might want to do on the island. Catherine is amazing and keeps the place spotless, we thank her for time and attention to details for us. After staying at many fine places with VRBO this one would be at the top of our list! You will not be sorry you booked it. Enjoy!

Fantastic Experience
We recently stayed in Villa Suzanne during a couples trip to St. Maarten and our stay was nothing less than perfect. Catherine was there to meet us on our arrival and was available for anything we needed during our stay. The villa was exactly as it looks in pictures, the views were amazing, the location we felt was perfect, right at the border between the Dutch and French sides of the island. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer! The only suggestion i have for anyone staying here in the future is to make sure if you rent a car, that it has sufficient power as there are several steeply inclined roads on the way to the villa (our small car had some difficulty).

50th to Remember!
My friends and I traveled to Sint Maarten to celebrate the big 5-0 and Villa Suzanne was the perfect setting. Waking up on that first morning to the ocean, palm trees and tropical breezes is a moment never to be forgotten. There were a total of 6 of us on the trip and the villa was ideal for this size of group. The many seating areas allowed for some of us to be watching TV while others were playing games. The pool was immaculate and the new addition of strobe lights made for fun evening dance parties! (We kept it relatively quiet!) I think it is safe to say that everyone in our group would happily return to Villa Suzanne for another unforgettable vacation.

Relaxing vacation
Being a nurses and realtors during the COVID world had completely exhausted us. We needed a well deserved and relaxing vacation, and Villa Suzanne provided that. The location and views are amazing. We went to sleep each evening with the sounds of the waves breaking and woke each morning to the birds singing. Catherine was so dear and always available to answer our questions. Many homes on the island were completely destroyed or damaged. Villa Suzanne survived, with little damage. A few things need attention, but overall it was a wonderful vacation and a beautiful island.

Absolutely fabulous!
We are so lucky to have travelled to Villa Suzanne in January 2021. We were 2 couples traveling together to celebrate a 50th birthday. The villa is amazing. That view! Being able to sit by the pool and overlook the ocean was mesmerizing. The beginning of our week was windy so the pool was too cool for us to enjoy floating about. The kitchen has everything you might need. We cooked for ourselves most of the time. We did have Catherine cook for us our first night which was just wonderful after a day of travel. Catherine is the BEST! You can walk to the beach. The neighborhood felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again. We had an amazing week and can't wait to return.

FABULOUS IN EVERY WAY!
We had a wonderful time here at Villa Suzanne! The home and setting couldn’t be any better! It’s right next door to the Westin so I we felt like we had the best of both world. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away. Catherine (the house mgr) has the most beautiful smile and laugh and kept everything in tip top shape. We hope to come back soon!

Paradise
Cons, We had three cars drive was a little tight. There was a tree frog that seemed to enjoy one of our couples company a little to much for there liking.
Pros, House was well laid out for access to relax and have a wonderful time. Seating areas were very comfortable and open yet protected from harsh rains. We spent most all of our time outside and was not bothered by the morning or evening sun or rains. We were able to watch the sunrise from pool area. There was a beautiful bird which would visit the hibiscus plant every morning while we were with in an arms reach. I thought it was awesome waking up with my coffee that at peace with nature. Care takers were unobtrusive and gracious when engaged. We had an issue with one of the A/C units yet the room never got unbearably uncomfortable. The unit was fixed promptly with in the same day. I think it was because someone messed with the remote and it wasn't the unit at all. We had a good view of the ocean yet wasn't close enough for it to be a source of constant over bearing noise to contend with. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of her and waking up to the sail boats going out for the day. The neighbor hood was quite and no sounds of any traffic. If it wasn't for the top of one roof we could see, you would of thought you were all by yourself and not in a neighbor hood. We all really enjoyed the feeling of privacy this villa offered inside and out. If your'e looking for the hustle and bustle of a resort vacation it's a 4 minute walk away yet you would never know it was there.
