Everything was as stated and close to everything.

Lovely stay, convenient location

Came down with a few friends to do Tales of a cocktail, the house had ample space for myself and 4 friends. Great location. Pool was clutch to relax on downtime and beds were cozy. AC and ceiling fans came in clutch. Only thing missing is a bbq grill which would have been great by the pool but everything else was great

The house was close to the street cars. Made it east to get to the French Quarter or get to the Garden District. The Restaurant across the Street was Amazing. We had a great time at the house as well. The Manager Shinda was awesome also.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience. It was our first time in New Orleans. The house was everything we had hoped for and could not have been in a better location. Centrally located to just about anything you’d have on your to-do list. I highly recommend this property.
4.8
I absolutely loved my stay!!! I would stay 100 times!!! We will be back and i will try the hot tub and pool then. Mrs Shinda was great and was so prompt. I understand the weather and the pool situation. Thank you for always responding!!! I love the history of the house!!! Thank you again!! We will be there in January ill be making arrangements!!!!

we really enjoyed our stay! this was a bit big for just the 4 of us but it was so nice to have the room. beds were super comfy. we had quick access to everywhere we wanted to go. we mostly drove to where we needed to go because we don't know the area, but we could easily have walked. the restaurant across the street was phenomenal!
4.8
Overall, we enjoyed this stay immensely and look forward to staying again in the near future. Very convenient location and wonderful Colombian restaurant across the street…

Nice historic house with great pool and hot tub. Smooth check in very easy. Convenient to street car close to Magazine street. We had 6 people for jazz fest. The only thing I would say is there’s only 1 full bathroom so if you are more than 5 for a long stay it would be harder. We were there for 4 days and really enjoyed stay

Wonderful house, with much space for the whole family. Beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the backyard and hot tub to relax after exploring the city during the day. I was worried about the house being too hot, but it was perfectly fine! Thanks again

Great home! Communication could’ve been better.

We had a wonderful time in this home. It's located perfectly for everything you might want to do. The restaurant directly across the street was really good. I would highly recommend this property. Construction on the street made my car a little dusty, but the house was worth it. Loved the house, loved New Orleans. We will definitely be back.

We had such a great time at this house! The beds were very comfortable, the AC works great and the pool and hot tub were amazing! It was a quick Uber ride away from the French Quarter but far enough to stay away from the bull. The cars are loud but each room has a white noise machine which helped a lot! We also think there might be a ghost in there haha. A happy ghost but we definitely heard some stuff being that it was an old house! Lots of history I'm sure! The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed, the TV only has cable so if you need more bring a firestick! Overall we had a wonderful time. The host's communication was very consistent and quick! Thank you for such an amazing trip! We 4 girls had a great week celebrating our girl! I would recommend Birdy's for brunch which is an 8 min walk and there is a delicious restaurant right across the street that we weren't able to try but next time for sure!!! Can't wait to come back!! Oh also we gave all of our food to the homeless camp down the street. Just a suggestion if you don't want to throw away a fridge full of groceries! They were very grateful and we never had any issues!

The house was not bad at all. It is a historic building and has creaky floors and an old, stuffy smell to it. You get used to it pretty quickly. The pool more than makes up for any shortcomings the house has. The kids loved it and it was very well maintained. The hot tub was another story and needed to be cleaned. The neighborhood itself was okay. There is a homeless encampment underneath the overpass about a block away. They were mostly harmless, but some were drugged out and almost got hit by traffic a few times. No incidents near the house. All in all it was a good place to stay. I just prefer more modern homes.

We enjoyed our stay, the home is beautiful the pool was great.. but my favorite part about our stay was the luxury mattresses.. oh my goodness !! It’s like sleeping on a cloud .. it was wonderful..

There were 4 adult women staying in this home for a bucket list birthday exploring New Orleans. This house was absolutely wonderful. It was clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We were a short walk to public transportation and restaurants. The pool is so much bigger than the pictures show. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience New Orleans with out being in the craziness of the Quarter.

First time renter of a vacation home I was very surprised all closet were locked, doors to the porch was nailed closed and I would have loved to enjoy the porch. Cameras was all over the house even outside of the bathroom felt like we were being watched 24/7. they never turn the air condition on upstairs where the bedroom are so it was very hot for four days into our vacation. They were able to sent someone out to investigate and the problem was resolved. is this normal on all house rentals?

We stayed at this historic home while attending a conference at the New Orleans Conference center. The walk to the center was about 15 minutes and passed a great coffee shop. Additionally, the location was a block away from the St. Charles streetcar and a few blocks away from the origination stop for the river front streetcar, meaning that it was a short walk to streetcars that run to Jackson Square and the French Market and another that runs to Loyola and Tulane.
The home was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We loved our trip here and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in this part of the city.

It was a nice house close to entertainment. Comfortable with nice style. The owners were really attentive to our needs and booked us last minute because our other reservation with another app was canceled without our knowledge. We had a chat and, which you can't do on other apps, and they even adjusted the price for us. I was very satisfied with everything about this place and if I ever return to New Orleans I would probably try and stay there again.

I have rented homes/condos/apartments all over the world for the last 14 years. This was my first time renting in New Orleans.
Pros: the proximity to everything we wanted to do could not have been any better: French Quarter, sightseeing, restaurants, activities and shopping.
Backyard was SPLENDID, especially at night.
Beds were very comfortable
White noise machines-very helpful
Cons: as mentioned previously, the unhoused population is abundant. No one bothered us; however, there was one person turning the corner by the house who was fighting and loud. For anyone who is easily frightened, this may be too much.
Parking—the construction around the home and the potholes are AWFUL. Yes, you can find a space, but it is not always the best.
Pool—the pool was not clean. They did state it had been cleaned the day before, but it had loads of debris from trees. We cleaned it and kept moving along. Also, my teens said it was too cold for a few of the days we were there—no heating available (first world problems :-).
Cleanliness/Upkeep—the refrigerator was not cleaned properly and (noted at checkout) the sheets on one of the beds were tattered. TVs—when vacationing, it’s always nice to have a television in the bedrooms to unwind at the end of the day. In 2023, every rental should offer TVs in each bedroom.
Towels—we only saw 3 washcloths. It would be nice to add at least one per allotted guest.
Overall—beautiful historic home. A few minor fixes would be great.

They get the big things right here..and in an old house that’s not easy. Good beds, cold AC, power outlets at each bed…all to name a few. The pool and hot tub were great after long days at Fess. Only drawback was the adjacency to the homeless folks under the bridge , so if ur looking for a quaint neighborhood where your kids can roam around this ain’t it. It was fine for us though…and priced accordingly.

My group of two couples absolutely loved our stay at the Poolside Palazzo! Check-in was easy and seamless, with a very easy to remember access code (thank you!). The entire home was spotless, which is a real accomplishment in an older home in New Orleans. The kitchen was well appointed but we didn’t use it very much as there’s so much delicious food nearby. Bedrooms were delightful places to relax with beautiful stained glass, comfortable beds, and very ample storage space. As noted in some other reviews, there are two showers but one is outdoors. We made it work with 4 people, but more than that could get tricky. Really appreciated the highly effective dual AC and ceiling fans; we stayed cool as cucumbers while at the house!
The real treat is of course the giant pool and great hot tub. Absolutely blissful to go for a quiet night swim under twinkling palm trees on a hot Louisiana night!!!
Seriously one of the loveliest, cleanest, most comfortable vacation homes we’ve stayed at. If it’s available, stop wasting time and BOOK IT (but not when I want to go ok?)!!!

My boys and I felt right at home. Well maintained and very convenient to both the quarter and garden district.

The Property was as advertised. Road construction next door was a problem but owners had no control over that.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful historic home.

The host, Lorenzo, was great in replying and answering all concerns we had prior to arriving at our stay! This home is beautiful and very accommodating for a small or large group! We enjoyed our experience even more because of this home and gracious host! Thank you

My husband and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. All of our adult children were able to join us in this beautiful home. Lots of space, hot tub was awesome and the guys enjoyed doing a few polar plunges in the pool. We were within walking distance to most things. The owner was very responsive when there was a home issue and came out New Years Day. Would highly recommend!!

Pool & big bedrooms
We had a great time here. Bedrooms were larger than pictures depict, check in was super easy, and Enzo was accommodating with early and late check out. Pool was so big too! My only advice is that If you’re going in a group you may want to pack an extra towel or two if everyone wants to use the pool. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Wonderful House!
We had six guests for our reservation and it was a blast. The house is very clean and the lock system made us feel very secure and comfortable. New Orleans can get VERY hot and we were happy to come back to this home which maintained a cool temperature exceptionally well. One huge thing for me was the white noise machines available in every single room, as I have trouble sleeping in complete silence. Excellent listing!

Bach Party Dream
This property is beautiful and right in the middle of everything, so very easy to get to anywhere you need! The pool was a great addition to our bachelorette party fun!
4.8
Such a cute, well maintained historic house! Bedrooms were huge and easily held 8 ladies for a girls trip. Beds were super comfortable! Roomy living room and dining room with lots of seating. The listing reads like there are 2 showers AND an outdoor shower, but the outdoor shower IS the second shower. It is private and actually fun to shower in, but would have like to have know that up front. Otherwise, everything was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed our stay so much!

We had a perfect vacation at this beautiful home. This historical home is absolutely gorgeous and well-appointed, while still feeling comfortable for a family with kids. You can tell they take incredible care of this home. We loved the beautiful outdoor space, pool, and hot tub! The location is excellent, highly walkable to downtown and accessible to the streetcar. I cannot say enough about how incredible the owners are; they communicated early, well, often, and thoughtfully.

Love the house! Super cute and the pictures do it no justice!!
Few things though…the construction on the street next to the house. It starts promptly at 7 am and goes all day!! The house vibrates. Make sure to use the white noise machine!! They said it won’t be finished until end of may. Also with that you lose the private parking spot which was a main reason we choose the house. You have to find street parking.
Second, I didn’t like the fact maintenance came on the property at random times. I understand they have to maintain the property but when you look out at 10 am and someone is vacuuming the pool it is a little alarming. I wasn’t even dressed. Good thing the blinds on the door weren’t fully open. I saw people a few times outside in the backyard.
Last beware of caterpillars right now!! They are EVERYWHERE!! Climbing in the house, shower, curtains, and outside trying to get in.

family getaway in NOLA
We had a great stay at Faubourg Lafayette. We have 3 small children, so the pool and hot tub were very appealing to us. We had some issues with the heating of the pool, but Enzo and Shinda were super responsive and had our issues resolved pretty quickly.
The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at night, but we felt very safe in the house. The location was great, just a quick uber ride down to the quarter or over to Magazine street. The Colombian restaurant across the street was also amazing...we ended up eating there multiple times. All in all we had a great stay!
