***BEAT THE SUMMER HEAT!! Enjoy the best water on the lake in this beautiful lake house escape! It's on a large cove that is great for water sports and fishing. There is a community boat ramp where you can launch your boat. The lovely house is 4 bedroom/2 baths, with beautiful views of the sunsets from a cozy covered porch as well as a large lower deck and a fully fenced yard. Enjoy playing ping pong or pool in the game room, or fishing and sunbathing on the dock. The house is equipped with WI-FI and Internet TV, so you are never out of touch. Just sit back relax and enjoy!

We have stayed here several times…..that should tell you how much we like it! The house is roomy, very clean, with a great fenced yard and nice dock. Tina is great to work with and always responds quickly to any questions we have.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake. The pier was perfect for fishing and enjoying the lake. We loved that the back yard was fenced, it made it easier for our dogs to enjoy being outside. The property and home was clean.

Communication with the host was always prompt, friendly & professional. The home was clean & had plenty of room for my family of 5 adults. I did mention to the host a few minor issues found that needed attention by the cleaning crew between guests. The bedrooms were spacious & beds comfortable. The master king sized bed is very high so my 83 y.o. mother could not easily get on or off the bed given her height & instability, & feared falling out of it in the middle of the night for restroom break so she slept on the twin bed located in the master bedroom. The twin bed was comfortable but wasn't the bed size she's accustomed to so turning side-to-side woke her. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals. The backyard was spacious & clean, my dog loved it! The area had alot of rain prior to our arrival & the first 2 days/nights of our stay so the backyard was soft during our stay & had a few spots closest to the waters edge that held water. The boat slip/dock was clean & well maintained. I enjoyed a lounge chair that is kept under the home; easy access. I loved the easy lake access/steps! Nice neighbors. I have 3 recommendations: 1) consider changing path (driveway to front door) from cobblestone to concrete so elderly can safely maneuver, 2) add non-slip strips across the full length of porch steps - my nephew slipped on a wet step while standing to his grandmothers' side when assisting her down the steps,3) add a grab bar or shower chair in the master bath for elderly.

We traveled 280 miles and our boat trailer broke an axle 1/2 mile from the destination on a Sunday afternoon. This left us helpless in the middle of no where. If it wasn't for a helpful passerby we would have been stuck. I called the owner and explained our problem. Other than telling me we could check-in late and they would not turn the security back on, the conversation was all about her not us. So, we finally got towed and spent the night. The next morning we found a repair center and by the end of the day they had our trailer repaired. This would leave us one day to try to de-stress and enjoy the lake. That night at 945 PM the owner telephoned us and said they had a roof repairment scheduled the next day. I told her we were stressed enough and that it was not acceptable for interruptions by a service person while we were occupying the property. I then said we would need to check out the next morning instead of house sitting for a repairman or listening to someone working on the roof. I told her she should refund the third day based on her and our circumstances. There are a few other things to be aware of at this stay. Add up the cleaning fee, required damage insurance, and Service fee. You must take out the trash about a mile away to a locked dumpster area with stray dogs running around and return the key to the house. Why can't the cleaners do this?? The house was clean and comfortable. During the conversations the owner always just talked about themselves. Not us.

This is a modular home right on the water. The home was very spacious. We loved having the fenced in yard and dock. The beds were very comfortable and there was soap and toilet paper. The kitchen was really big and there was a small extra fridge. Being on the lake there is a lot of bugs. Bring bug spray and candles. Also, the steps are very slippery when it is raining. My husband slipped down them letting the dog out one morning. The neighborhood is full of stray dogs and run down but once you get on the dock that all goes away. We enjoyed our stay and loved being on the lake. We had a great time at this home.

We live 7 hours away and hate staying in hotels. This house was perfect for us and our family that lives in Mabank to visit us. Will definitely be staying here again! Host was awesome, house was very clean and very homey. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us and allowing us to stay. Can't wait to come back and bring our boat in the summer!

This is our 3rd time to use this property and we love it. It meets our needs in all aspects from a roomy house to a fenced yard for our dogs and we love the pool/ping pong table. Although the lake was low (as it was in 2022) we had a great time......after all we can't control the weather. As long as we are able and kept having our family Labor Day Weekend we will definitely be back! When we had had an issue Tina & Jerry took care of it immediately! Thanks again Tina & Jerry. We look forward to using your property again and again.

Nice quiet location on the lake. Spacious hangout areas. Great fenced in yard for a toddler. Furniture is a bit dated but OK. Internet access not consistently fast, an upgrade here would be nice but if not an option then give guests a heads up and it would be fine. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Wonderful accommodations. Great floorplan with plenty of room for 6 adults, 3 children and a dog. We had a great time, and all agreed that it was the perfect place for us to be together. Tina was very responsive and provided clear direction for all phases of our stay. We had a great 90th birthday celebration with my mother and we were able to relax and decompress after an event filled day. Clearing and checking out went very smoothly. Thank you, Tina, for being a great host!

This home is exactly as listed except for one thing - it's better! The owners were so very helpful when we the electricity was cut off during a pretty rough storm and it was a very safe place for us to be. The home and its grounds were clean and had everything we needed for 4 cousins to enjoy a must needed reunion. Thank you for such a good place to rest, relax and enjoy your beautiful view!

This is a great property and was our 2nd time to rent for our Labor Day weekend! There is plenty of parking, the house is very spacious, and is very well stocked. Even though the lake was very low this year we had a wonderful time spending time out doors and in the water. The yard is fenced and our 3 dogs had a good time too. The house was very comfortable and accommodating. We found just a few of the dishes in the cabinets were not clean. Unfortunately the lake level was down due to no rain. But overall this was a great place to stay.. everyone enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong tables.

Beautiful lake home
Beautiful view, all cooking appliances and utensils you need, very spacious. Only thing did not like was not being able to shower when you wanted due to septic system overflow and it he water was low so couldn’t dock the boat.

Wonderful as always!
This was my family’s 3rd year staying here. We come one full week in the summer to enjoy family time. There are 11 of us. Perfect location on the water as this cove, you can do it all from your dock without the chaos of a busy lake. Fish, sky, tube, swim, float. It’s perfect! We aren’t usually the easiest group to handle but Tina and her husband were always available to help and guide us. The water level was low this year but we still had a great time!! We will visit again for sure! Many memories made. Thanks.

Quiet and relaxing
A very nice and quiet residence in an older neighborhood. The house was great, well furnished and had a very nice deck and boat dock. We liked that it was fenced in because we had a toddler. The owners were very easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay!

Tina’s place was great. It was clean and modern and Tina was awesome with communication. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Fishing was fruitful as well. A very peaceful and outside and comfortable inside. Couldn't have asked for more!

Relaxing stay
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The lake views are amazing! The dogs loved the backyard and going out on the boat dock. The owner was very responsive every time I messaged her. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and essentials. Driving the trash to the dumpsters was a bit annoying but nothing they would stop me from staying there again. The drive into the neighborhood was a little concerning. Very eclectic neighborhood. We felt safe in the home but driving past some of the properties made us a bit nervous. Just to be forewarned. Lots of trash in people’s yards. Overall a great stay at a great price!

Great location for water activities.
Needed a home that we could have our pets while we were waiting to close on our home. Owners were very accommodating. The home is huge with a great dock for my husband to fish during our stay. I enjoyed relaxing on the back deck having my morning coffee.

Great Christmas Lake Getaway
My family and our dogs rented this house during Christmas. The house was beautiful and spacious. I loved the fenced in yard and big kitchen as well as the ping pong and pool table. There were only a few minor issues. The location is 25 min from any grocery or Walmart and there were no coffee filters, dish soap, or working batteries in the remote for the bedroom TV. The host was very apologetic but we did have to drive to town for coffee filters the day after Christmas. Also she gave us access to the supply closet for batteries and dish soap but we had already gone shopping by then. The biggest negative was having to drive a mile down the road to take out trash and then return key to house so you couldn’t just take it as you were leaving. Not much they could do about that, but it was annoying. I also wished there was more access to the bank of the lake. The fenced yard goes right to the lake and dock which was great if you’re into boating or swimming but not for walks along the lakefront. It was fun to see all the various water birds in the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this great lake house and would definitely come back if we go this way again.

Super comfy lake house with a great view
I rented this house for myself and my two sister's. It was perfect for our three families. The kitchen is great with a really nice island that overlooks the living room. Its also well stocked with tools, we did a full Thanksgiving and weren't lacking for any plates, cutlery, pots or pans.
The deck has a great view and the lower deck was great for grilling.
The sunset from the dock is beautiful.
Will definitely rent here again!

Nice quiet place on the lake
The house was clean and very spacious for our family of twelve. Plenty of parking space, including space for the boat trailer. The fenced backyard was perfect for our two dogs. We liked having the pool/ping pong table for those that wanted to relax indoors, the deck and boat dock were great gathering places for those that wanted to be outdoors. There were plenty of pans to cook with and plenty of seating for our meals. Our host Tina was very nice and easy to communicate with, she was quick to respond through text or phone call.

I loved being there. Very clean property.Owner was so kind. Let me stay extra days with paying of course. Love the gift. Only thing that was hard was taking the trash to the dumpster in the neighborhood. I threw out my back doing that. I will definitely be coming back. The water is about 2 feet deep when first getting in the lake with sandy bottom not mud. You can walk out 10 feet before it gets deeper great to swim or wade in. Caught a lot of kittens and one bass. Love this place

Excellent stay!
We had no complaints with this property. The house had plenty of space for the 5 of us including the dog. The kids LOVED the ping pong table! This house is located in a really nice cove on the lake which gave us the ability to enjoy the calm waters during the day. The community boat ramp was only a couple of houses down, which was a plus! The neighbors are super sweet and very welcoming! We enjoyed our stay at this location and can’t wait to visit again!
