About this house rental
In the Tranquil & Peaceful East End of Grand Cayman Island, the Beach House sits directly on a gorgeous pure white sand beach with all major rooms overlooking the ocean. The pillars of a dock remain (Hurricane Ivan claimed the dock) and here, all the fish congregate, so there is great snorkeling. A Marine Biologist stayed with us recently, and told us she identified 21 different species of fish. You can also swim at this beach.
Cayman Beach House (floors 2-4) has the following configuration:
1. Master bedroom with King Size bed & ensuite on the 3rd floor. Large Terrace overlooking Ocean.
2 Master bedrooms with Queen sized bed and ensuite on the 2nd floor. Terrace overlooks the Ocean.
3. Third Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Bunk Beds does not overlook the ocean. Bathroom is right across the hall.
4. LOFT: Has a single daybed and is on the 4th floor accessible via a winding staircase. No dresser and open to below. Not suitable for adults, gets too hot.
Therefore, the Beach House itself holds up to 9 people. Newly painted and decorated in an "elegant tropical" theme. There is a Hot Tub on the deck.
The entrance to Cayman Beach House is very impressive and impossible to capture with a camera. The living room ceiling soars 3 stories! There is a lookout from the 2nd & 3rd floor down to the living room.
If you need more than 3 bedrooms, we can accommodate you, but you need to contact me for Rates & Availability. For this reason, if you are booking through VRBO, you will NOT be able to book anything other than the 3 bedroom + loft beach house for a maximum of 9 guests. VRBO will not allow you to input more than 9 guests because of this, however, the beach house is capable of holding 18 guests in total. if you include a pull-out sofa; 16 in regular beds.
For each bedroom & bathroom you add, the rates jump. In the lower level of this house we have a 2 bedroom apartment with direct walk-out to the beach. It is a "lock-off" unit meaning you can rent 1 extra bedroom with bathroom (accessible from the beach house) which we call "cozy corner' or the entire 2 bedroom apartment (which is also fully accessible from the Beach House) thus giving you a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. In the 5 bedroom configuration (including our Loft), we can accommodate 13 + guests. Check out our snuggle beach website [VRBO 12670] to view the apartment. Again, this is based on availability, the apartment may be rented to other guests. Approximate Rates to add 1 bedroom & bathroom: $500 more in low season, $700 more in high season, plus tax. More at Christmas & Spring Break. Again, it is based on AVAILABILITY
NOTE: All units are completely self contained with their own kitchens and bathrooms. You will NOT be sharing your space with anyone except your own family members.
You also have the option of just adding the studio apartment which has a full kitchen and bathroom. This would give a little more privacy for family friends or parents, perhaps, who don't necessarily want to be with you 24/7. PLEASE NOTE: VRBO rates DO NOT APPLY for more than 7 guests (assuming the 7th will sleep in the Loft).
If you are having a family reunion, or are down for a wedding, contact me and I'll do my best to make it work for all of you. We can also add our Cottage By The Sea. Large groups require a $1000 damage deposit.
Our property manager is on-site regularly, quite often early in the morning. If you have any problems at all, need anything, have questions or need recommendations, Just ask! The property manager is your point of contact when you are on the island and will do everything possible to make sure your vacation is wonderful.
For inquiries about "Cayman Beach House" please send an email as we can respond much quicker throughout the day & evening. You will not reach us by phone.
Please note, the 3 bedroom Beach House holds a maximum of 9 people, but a maximum of 6 adults and 3 children. If there are more adults, you would need to add additional bedrooms. (Based on availability -- please inquire before booking.)
And yes, the picture of the girl in the bikini was taken on our beach!

We loved staying at this house in the Cayman Islands. The property manager was also very kind and responsive.

Property was great. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the Rooftop. More stars than I have ever seen. Hope to stay again.

Perfect house for our group, with 2 bedroooms and bathrooms on the main floor for the family with kids, a master bedroom with ensuite for the grandparents on the upper floor, and an extra room on the ground for for uncle. It was very hot outside, but the house AC was up to the task.
The snorkeling under the dock was fantastic - hundreds of fish, and a great spot for the kids to practice before heading out to other snorkeling areas.
4.8
We chose this place because it had a dock and the pictures showed that as well, however, the dock was torn apart and there was a big piece of machinery at the end that we had to look at the entire time. So, that was a bummer. The hot tub was green for a bit, but they did end up getting that taken care of. Overall it was a nice place inside, just wish the dock was useable while we were there. That is one of the biggest reasons I picked this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House on the East End. The house had a great view and the kids enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming right out in front of the house. Even though there were other guest both on the main floor and other adjacent house on the property, it was quiet and felt like we had it to ourselves.

Wonderful time!
4.8
Great, laid back spot on Caymans east side. Great people, food, and activities. Definitely a slower pace than 7 mile beach area, so if you’re into sunrises and privacy this is a good spot. We had a great time with our family of 8.

We had a great time. Our best snorkeling tours were from our own beach. Lion Fish, Stingray, Starfish, Snapper, Barricuda , you name it. Perfect for kids. The home was ideal for kids

Rented the beach house - it's with 4? other units, although it still felt like our own. Beach is right out the back door, plenty of chairs and beach towels. It was also great to have free rein of a couple kayaks and SUPs. Kids can swim out front with little worry due to the nature of island being ringed by a limestone wall. Excellent service by the owner/manager, had a little A/C issue in one room and it was fixed immediately. Everyone had a great time and would definitely come back.

Beach House Vacation
My family and some friends (7 total) spent a week in Grand Cayman and really loved the island. Our stay at East End was extremely comfortable. The house is clean, airy, spacious, and well located. The East End of GC experiences trade winds that effect the East End most dramatically but it didn't stop us from daily snorkeling and enjoying the gorgeous beach out the front door. The 3rd floor sleep loft was hot unless we overly cranked the AC so the 3 kids shared a room on the main floor. The master bedroom was fantastic and the queen bed was equally comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful week here
We truly enjoyed all that this beautiful house and location had to offer. The house itself is lovely and allows you to live an indoor/outdoor experience. The beach in front of the house offers incredible views. The palm trees allow for much needed shade for those that require a respit from the sun. The water is warm and velvetty and allows for some great snorkeling. We were very grateful for calm water for most of the days we were there. The kayaks provided by the owner truly enhance how to interact with the sea. There are great restaurants that you can walk to from the beach or within a short few minutes drive.
We truly enjoyed our stay and were thankful we made the decision to stay on the East End vs Seven Mile Beach.

A wonderful house in Grand Cayman's east end.
The house was exactly as advertised. It was very clean with plenty of room for 5 adults. Our view was amazing from the balcony and even better from the beach. Even though the other units were rented for most of our stay it was very quiet and you never felt crowded. The location is perfect with a grocery store and a few restuarants within walking distance. However, you will want to rent a car because there is much more to see and do. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Little Piece of Island Paradise
We LOVED this property. The house was exactly what we hoped it would be. House was clean and had everything we needed. The beach was perfect. Great views of the ocean and sunrise from the beach or balconies. The old remnants of the dock added to the perfect views. The dock is a great location to snorkel around. Great spot for beginners. We saw so many different types of fish (Lion, Porcupine, Angel, Barracuda, Tarpon) and so many more. East End location is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile. There is plenty of things to see do and eat near this property. If you want to drive to Rum Point or Seven Mile the drives not too long and the views along the way make it go fast. We would highly recommend this property. Should we ever find ourselves back on Grand Cayman, we will definitely stay here again.

Yellow Gold
This place was a gem. As someone who has spent a lot of time in the Cayman Islands over the past 40 years, this was a perfect patch of peace and quiet. Lorraine (property manager) was helpful. Breeze was awesome. East End reminds me of being on the island as a child. Sound of the sea, birds, and the rustle of leaves. If you want to get away from the clamor of seven mile beach, this is your spot.

Beautiful house with ocean views
Beautiful house situated on the East End right around the corner from Ocean Frontiers. There was a great kitchen we used often and a grill down at the beach they came in very handy after buying fresh fish from the fish market in Georgetown. We were able access Rum Point in 20 min and had lots of restaurant choices very close to the house. The seaweed build up on the beach was a little thick, but the staff was there almost everyday working to clear a path to the water. Georgetown will take about 45min to get to from the house, but it is a super easy drive and we ended up going to town 3 times during the week. Overall, if you want something a bit quieter than the Seven Mile Beach area, this is the spot!

Everything was Great with this property, house was amazing with perfect views from every floor/ master bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Property manager was great! She was helpful with everything we needed, and offered great advice on the surrounding area. The beach was very secluded, it felt like we had our own private piece of the Caribbean for a week. Location was perfect for the East end, away from the madness of Georgetown and the West end. We loved the Local restaurants and resort being near by for great food and activities. We especially enjoyed the Dive sites on the East End which are the best I have experienced. We would love to stay here again!

spring break
We had a great time. The view was awesome. Enjoyed having coffee on the porch watching the sun rise.. The house was very spacious. Everything was clean and neat. Location was great , private between 2 nice homes. The house does have 2 lower units that are available for rent. Would have preferred house to ourselves. Plus a detached cottage behind the property is available.

Amazing house, view, and location
This is the perfect house for relaxing at the beach, snorkeling right from the backyard beach, fully stocked grocery store in walking distance. Wide variety of local restaurants within 10 min drive. The house is perfect for a large family. We will definitely rebook for our next trip to Grand Cayman.

Wonderful relaxing house
We had a wonderful family trip with our 5 adult children. Lots of room so no felt cramped. Loved the privacy of the beach. Great locals, very friendly. We are going to come back.

Great Experience
We had five couples staying at the house from 5/3/18 to 5/10/18. I general it was a great vacation.
The pluses:
1. The house is very nice, well maintained, furnished nicely and very spacious
2.The house is a little worn but that's to be expected on a beach front house. Not saying it was bad, just not perfect.
3.The beach is big, spacious and private.
4.The snorkeling around the dock and beyond was entertaining. Tons of grunts, a few angels and about 12 barracuda a little further out.We are divers so our exceptions of underwater creatures is high.
5 the dining in the area are great and inexpensive.( Check out Chek Grill in and Kurt's, Korner both excellent and economical. )
6 Dove with Ocean Frontier which is about one mile away. Very convenient. .
7. Lorraine was excellent to work with and extremely friendly.
8.Views from the house are beautiful.
The Minus:
1. The diving was less than expected. Vis was about 40 feet but improved to 85ft by the weeks end.
2. The was a lot of Sargassum (Seaweed ) and Sea grass that washed up on the Beach. Loraine did have someone come rake and remove it one day. But it would be impossible to keep up with it. Just the time of the year I guess.
3.Have to walk thru the seaweed to get to the water.
Overall, a wonderful vacation

5 Star house with private beach
We just returned from our spring break and had a great time at the Yellow House. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There were lots of beach chairs and plenty of beach towels. We were worried about the area being too windy but it was perfect. The breeze kept us cool and we enjoyed meeting the couple staying below us and the people in the little house behind us. The snorkeling was best right around the dock in front of the house. We took the kayak out and enjoyed the beautiful water. The hammocks were wonderful and we had our best meal at The Lighthouse. The chocolate beignets were amazing and huge! We also loved the Lion Fish tacos at Eagle Rays and it was really casual. We drove over to Rum Point but it was crowded and our little beach was much better. We will definitely make a return trip in the future!

The Beach House
The house is large, very spacious, lots of light and all the amenities you need. Lovely Caribbean feel and decor. Clean , private and away from the busier West side. Clean bathrooms, large and comfortable bedrooms. The Private beach is very nice especially for the kids however it was much too windy during out stay to sit out and enjoy. Due to the winds hitting the East side of the Island first the seaweed build up was immense and sadly lots of garbage washed up. Maybe this would be different at other times of the year. We could drive to Rum point or the Amazing 7 mile beach without these problems and enjoyed snorkeling, swimming. Being on the East side does make for some wonderful sunrises though and on a clear night the stars are incredible.. There are a couple nice restaurants close by but we also grilled a couple times at the house . Not really sure if it's cheaper to eat out given the cost of groceries. Sadly not able to enjoy the Hot tub, they couldn't get it heated. Overall this was a fun stay for our family of 10.

Paradise on the East End
That beach! It is better than the pictures portray which hardly seems possible. We enjoyed it for 5 days in December just before Christmas. Working with the owner Sandra to book was very convenient. She was responsive and patient especially when trying to get our payments processed through our very protective credit card. Her directions and all recommendations were excellent. When we arrived the very friendly house manager greeted us. The pictures are very accurate. We had everything and more than we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was tons of space for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The sand is pristine as is the water. The snorkeling right out front was some of the best we had! We enjoyed walking on the beach, our 15 year old son broke open coconuts and we made toasted coconut for snacking. We all agreed we enjoyed coming back to East End to our private beach at the end of a busy day. It is a bit of a drive but totally worth it. The home is recently renovated, still a few lose ends to finish up but nothing major. It is the windy side of the island so great for watching kite surfers sometimes too windy just to hang around. We were there on a windy week. Definitely go to Italian Kitchen and Bombay Chopsticks (I wrote reviews for both). We tend to eat on the later side (7:30-8pm) we eventually learned that most people ate earlier after we were alone in some restaurants. We also really liked Eagle Ray's Dive Bar. Does not look like much but the food was crazy fresh especially the lion fish tacos totally lived up to all the hype. We used Cayman Private Charters for 4 hours it was the highlight of our trip by far and worth every dime. So pleased with our rental choice. Thanks Sandra!

Come Home to Tranquility!
December 2016, my son and I spent ten awesome days at “Snuggle Beach” nestled in the East End of the Cayman Islands away from the hustle and bustle. We woke up each day to a beautiful “backdrop’ of the ocean, the soothing sea breeze and did I say “tranquility”. Enjoyed the cool nights and the bright reflection of the moon shine on the ocean…such a natural beauty. What I loved most was getting up at wee hours of the morning to sit on the patio enjoying the coolness of the sea breeze and listening to the roaring of the ocean…
Beach is seconds away from the “beautiful yellow house”. The interior is to die far…genuine oak architectural ceilings and the open floor plan makes this gem a real modern day beauty. All hard wood floors throughout. No need to hurry as each of the 3 bedrooms has its own private bathrooms and patio. If you wishes to dine in you have the option to prepare your own tasty meals as there is a full equipped kitchen; meals can be enjoyed on the patio, deck or at the dining table. Minutes away is a shopping center to purchase your favorite alcoholic beverages, a large supermarket for groceries, an Italian restaurant and more. Perfect escape for lovers looking to unwind and reconnect….escape for girlfriends to laze on the beach and take their hats off….a true paradise for the entire family to unwind. Returning to Snuggle Beach is a “MUST DO.”

Wow factor!!
Beautifully done home with a stunning view of the Caribbean. Walking into the home you're struck with the openness of the vaulted ceiling, the rooms are spacious with balconies looking out toward the ocean, the kitchen is open and airy. The white sandy beach is just out the door, so gorgeous! It's roomy enough to gather friends and family from various locations for a wonderful visit.
There is a small grocery store nearby, and Tukka's restaurant is a must (~1 mile). You do need to have a car Don't forget your sunscreen!

AMAZING HOLIDAY !!!! Beautiful Home and Awesome Beach !!!
We just came back from a 1 week holiday in the Caymans and stayed in this beautiful home which was much prettier in person than the pictures show. When you walk in, the living room is breath-taking --- the ceiling goes up 3 floors with each floor overlooking the room below. To the south (?) the windows all overlook the ocean. It's simply breath-taking. We had 6 in our family and there was so much room -- every room was spacious. We snorkeled a lot of the beach and like the description said, there were fish hanging out at the pillars of the old pier. Afterwards, we all jumped in the hot tub. The property manager, Nadine, was very kind and helpful --- love her sense of humour! Apparently 1 of the rooms used to be rented out occasionally as a B & B, but this is no longer the case, now the whole house is rented. I have to mention the decor --- so beautiful! The interior decorator did an amazing job; the entire house is done in various shades of blue. Every room is beautifully decorated and the bedspreads are all ocean themed. It's absolutely perfect --- you truly feel you are away on a dream vacation down to every last detail. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Christmas Holiday at this Beautiful Villa
Our family is now scattered across the US and so when we can get together it is a very special time for us. We couldn't have picked a better island or a better villa -- it exceeded our expectations. There were nine of us altogether, my husband & I stayed on the main floor, our sons and their wives on the 2nd floor and the children all slept in the loft. The villa is so spacious, at no time did it feel crowded. It is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you would need. Beds were very comfy and the villa spotlessly clean. The high speed internet was much appreciated. But the best feature of all was the 5 linked swimming pools, 2 of them with waterfalls. Our sons also spent a few days at "The Sweet Spot" and went windsurfing. The owners live on the island and were very kind and helpful. We would not hesitate in recommending this property and hope to be back one day.

Great Place, Great Rates
A delightful find -- One of the few things on the island that is reasonably priced. We were the only guests in the B & B at the time, and we basically had the whole villa to ourselves. Herman & Onessa were at work all day, but when they were home, they were very gracious hosts. The 3rd floor loft was spacious and spotless, and very relaxing. The pool is 10 steps from the patio. Kitchen had all the appliances & utensils you needed. Cute little library next door for the internet. Kite-surfing is 10 minutes away at the Red Sail Sports. For sure we will be back next year.

A week in Paradise
Herman and Onessa were warm gracious hosts and went out of their way to welcome us into their home. The weather was perfect, the water was clean and refreshing, the people were friendly, and the food was wonderful. Herman took us fishing on his boat; we had a great time and caught a nice Wahoo. He is an excellent cook and prepared several delicious meals for us including grilled Yellow Fin Tuna, Barracuda, Wahoo, Conch Fritters, Lobster, Fried Chicken, and Curry Chicken. We’re looking forward to eating at his fish fry restaurant which should open in a few months. There were a few small things that came up and Herman quickly responded to make sure things were taken care of. They shared some tips that made our vacation more enjoyable and we thank them for their kindness and hospitality.
