Perfect getaway with a lot of thought and detail to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay

A beautiful country get away, but close enough to the necessities in town.

Host Cathie met with us on arrival and let us know the best places in town to dine at and how some of the devices in the Muddy operated. We enjoyed our few days relaxing and feeding the resident sheep while being surrounded by utter peace and tranquillity. The kitchen was well equipped and other amenities clean, tidy and working as expected. Gorgeous views of the property from the bedroom.

What an amazing chalet in a great little town of Alexandra

A bit late in posting as I have had a very busy last month. Wanted to say thanks to Cathie for letting us enjoy Muddy. We loved how well thought out Muddy is, and the details like dishwasher, kitchen items, cleanthiness and the asthetics of the place impressed us. We were not planning to cook but having such an amazing kitchen made us want to cook up some meals. It was a great experience. The view is fantastic and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the hosts for thinking about every little item in Muddy. Highly recommended!!

Stunning property with magnifent views of gorgeous Alexandra

A uniquely gorgeous property with a well thought out design to fit this gorgeous part of Victoria Amazingly gracious hosts welcoming us with a roaring fire and always available So well set up for self contained accomodation - we didn’t want for anything!! Definitely value for money!! Close enough to the town to enjoy the local cuisine

Exceeded our expectations, property was exceptional.

Amazing romantic getaway

This place is beautiful. Sitting in front of the wood fire heater on super comfy couches was great! Cathie greeted us and filled us in on the accommodation, she let us know about where to go locally, and there is a basket full of info inside. It’s clean, everything you need is there (except a pen!). I can’t wait to go back

Excellent place, we loved it, now I want to buy it

Absolutely everything, from the location, the driveway to the property, the greeting, all facilities, kitchen, bathroom, all supplies, wood supply, instruction manuals for appliances, comfort level throughout, very spacious, excellent set up with spiral staircase up to the master bedroom, full ice trays in freezer, AMAZING , plenty supply of toilet paper, "Helloo big hotels !!", a record player with choice of nostalgic records, magic views, total peace and quiet, superbly clean, and a great feel just being there, such excellent value for money

Stunning weekend getaway!

The Muddy is the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. We explored the local hikes and rail trail, but couldn’t wait to get back to the property for drinks on the deck in the evening sun. We enjoyed our visits from Peppin the dog, the sheep in the pasture and the record player got a lot of use! Book now!

Exceptional

Wonderful place with a varm friendly host. We strongly recommend it and would love to come back - If you were to install a hot tup outside under the stars, we would come back in a couple of months and pay $75 more per night 😁

Would like to have had a light switch on the staircase light upstairs to turn the light on and off as the toilet is located downstairs.
