Perfect Stay! We loved the view and the property was as advertised. Very clean and Rustic. Easy check in and out.
Had friends visit while we stayed and they said that they would love to come back and stay there!
We enjoyed ourselves and would gladly come back and stay again!

The cabin, property and pond have several highlights. The cabin is located on a very quiet road which we found very pleasant. Nice walks up the road with our children. We met some of the neighbors who were very friendly. It has a good beach with space to spread out, even with the high water this year. Small set of stairs from the lawn to the beach. There were kayaks and a canoe to use. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed ourselves with those. Large lawn and firepit along with table. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for the cook. It also had a newer stove and fridge. The first floor bedroom was nice. There are some improvements needed in the shower, it seems to need work done by a professional. We greatly avoided it, only taking a couple showers that week and no baths. We found that there weren't many places to sit and read comfortably in the evening. The couch is constructed of wood with cushions that slide around quite a bit. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was available and we had to get more while we were out one day. The carpets were wet when we arrived downstairs and upstairs, I think the carpets may have been shampooed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I don't think we would stay again though, unless the shower was addressed.

Watching the sun come up over the mountains, reflections on the lake. A beautiful place. Swimming to the swim float with our twin 4 year old and our six year old grandsons a treat. Watching them play with their parents on the float, no better memories can be made. My 4 year old grandson wanted to hook the lake up to his sass’s car and bring it home.

A beautiful slice of Maine pond life with a mountain backdrop!

It was great for the size. Able to sleep 7 without a problem. Cabin was randomly organized. Only 1 trash bag available. We had to bring the swim dock out by ourselves and watch out for the giant leaches. However once settled into the place overall a good week

The lake view was beautiful. Swimming is possible but not if your skwemish (like me). My husband and daughter paddleboarded everyday and our pup loved playing catch into the water. The location was private with a couple of friendly neighbors close by. The house is very rustic which gives it character and charm. The reason for giving a lower star rating on cleanliness is it is in need of a good spring cleaning, the upstairs dustness was too much for me. The bedroom downstairs was comfy. We enjoyed our time.

This is the perfect spot for a place to rejuvenate and enjoy nature. The house is located in the woods with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountain. The setting is peaceful and quiet with easy access to hiking and water sports. The house has a well-equipped kitchen for your cooking at home needs and Sherry is a wonderful host. Thank you for sharing your special place with us!

The camp was rustic, as others have said. Still, our needs regarding the kitchen, sleeping quarters, and property we're met. The view to the lake out to pleasant Mtn is beautiful, we hiked it. Lake is very quiet and not heavily populated. Some mentioned leeches. We stayed in July and only saw two. Did see herons, tons of turtles while kayaking. The beach and wharf are nice. Downsides: amenities list coin operated laundry but you have to drive 15 minutes to Bridgtown. We understood "amenities" to be on-site and would not have rented had we known. The camp is poorly ventilated and very hot. 2 of the 3 main floor bedroom windows have no screens and so can't be opened. Many windows are large and fixed in place. Most windows only allow 1 of 2 panes to open (other is fixed in place). There are fans but they just push hot air around. Couldn't step outside without a deerfly or several on you. Lake might be too small for some. We could kayak the entire perimeter in about an hour.

Perfect for families
My family and I spent a wonderful week here over the Fourth of July. What a perfect place for a family! The pond is very quiet and you truly feel like you have privacy while enjoying everything the outdoors have to offer. The stretch of private beach was perfect for my little ones to swim and play safely. We enjoyed the water everyday! We loved hanging out by the fire pit or in the screened in porch at night. The view of the mountain across the pond is absolutely beautiful. When I reached out with questions, Sherry responded promptly. The property is set up nicely and stocked with whatever you may need, just watch your head in the upstairs bedrooms! The slanted ceilings gave us all a good bump or two! And watch out for leeches while swimming in the pond. They were a bit worrisome with my little ones, but as long as you keep and eye out you’ll be fine. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and will look forward to hopefully staying again!

Rustic Cabin with Beautiful Views, But Cleanliness an Issue
Absolutely unbeatable scenery, with gorgeous views of forest, lake, and mountain. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck, in the hammock, and on the beach. The amenities in the rustic cabin were as expected and met our needs, but cleanliness was an issue. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned in some time, dirty dishes and dog toys/supplies were on counters and floors, and used sheets remained on the beds at our arrival (we were instructed to bring our own). We spent most of our first day vacuuming, cleaning sinks, etc. Overall, we had a good experience but wished the property had been much cleaner.

Cabin on Long Pond in Denmark
The location of this lakefront home is wonderful. It's on a very quiet, small (but large enough), clean pond with beautiful views of the lake and Pleasant Mountain. There are some other houses on this pond but they are spread out so it feels very private. This particular house has one of the nicest sandy beaches on the entire pond, as well as a new swimming platform. It's also very easy to walk from the house to the beach (other houses were set higher and had multiple stairs to reach water). The house itself is not fancy. It is a typical "camp-style" lake house. Lots of wood, no updates and could use some freshening up. In other words, if you are looking for new and fancy - this is not the place for you.
However, if you are looking for a relaxing stay on a beautiful, serene pond (no motorized watercraft), just canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, this fits the bill for a very affordable stay on a lake.
BBQ was hard to work. We couldn't get the propane tank nozzle to turn.
Shower sprays the bathroom unless you are very careful and aim it just right.
Oven could be cleaner.
WiFi worked for our phones and Netflix but my son couldn't log into his work system (which we expected and it wasn't a big deal for us but if you are planning to work from there, be aware of that).
Location is great: in between Fryeburg and Bridgton and not far from North Conway, NH. Lots of wonderful hiking available.

Beautiful scenery
Overall the place was fantastic. Quiet and cozy. The lake is very pretty but there are tons of leeches and a few big water snakes roaming around. Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely rent this property again.

Family Vacation
My Family and I had a great time at the camp with the private beach. Good location close to storyland, fun town, and mountains in New Hampshire. We will definitely stay there again.

Awesome Maine camp getaway!
This is a great camp in a great location. Everything as described! Everyone loved visiting and we loved staying for the week! Everything you need to enjoy the pond is provided, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the water was the whole week even in just mid-tune! My sons are now in total love with canoeing as well! You won't regret staying here!!

Exactly What We Were Looking For
This is an amazing cabin in an unbeatable location. The cabin has everything you need to make you feel comfortable and cozy. Perfect place to disconnect from daily life but close enough to several towns and destinations to provide plenty of exploring. Short drive to North Conway and the White Mountains. Also close enough to Portland & Freeport to make day trips.
Waterfront sunrises were a treat every every morning. Sandy beach with several options for watercraft to explore the lake. As well as inflatables and floats. Cabin has a fully functioning and well equipped kitchen. High speed WiFi access, if you decide to even to use it. Cell signal is limited - texting is fine, phone calls were not as smooth. That being said not a single complaint from our stay, though some others may find that information helpful. The dartboard and stockpile of board games was also a nice surprise!
Would love to make a return trip to this very same cabin.

Phenomenal
The photos don't even do justice for this house. It was beyond beautiful and amazing! Every member of my family ranging 1 to 72 years old, was able to enjoy our stay. The rooms were accommodating and the lake was absolutely AMAZING! There wasn't much room for storing our food which we knew ahead of time from previous comments but that did not stop us from being able to be comfortable. If you're looking for a true get away like we were this is the property for you. We most definitely will be returning here next year!!

Would do this again!
This property is stunning. Located on a big, wooded lot, there is plenty of privacy but the neighbors are not so far away as to be completely isolated. The beach and pond both have lovely sand and the view of the mountain is amazing. Just watch out for leaches!! The house itself was just right for us, although we would have loved some more shades as the property faces East and the morning sun comes up at 5am! We had a great time swimming and s’mores in the campfire and relaxing in the hammock and drinks on the deck. It was a very hot week and the owner graciously, and preemptively, purchased extra fans for our stay, which turned out to be a life saver. Thanks!!

Relaxing week on the pond
We rented this place for the large water front, sunrise, canoe, kayaks and fire pit. That's what we got! It's located on a quiet dirt road which we walked every day. The trail head for Pleasant Mountain is just 2 miles away. Our dog had a blast swimming and chasing frogs/chippies. Owners were very responsive. Master bed was very comfortable. Several fans. Gas Grill. Wi-Fi Internet. 14 TV channels. Keurig. Deck great for adults. It could have been a little cleaner and needs several screens replaced (knew this going in based on other reviews so no big deal). We met the neighbors on both sides (lots of space between), all have dogs (they stayed on their own properties), all nice people. The week went too fast!

Nice location / quiet pond
Nice location on the pond...home could use some updating...screens repaired with band aids was interesting....lake is good for kayaking/canoeing...fishing was not good when we visited in July.

Vacation in Denmark
The property was untidy. House needs many repairs. Kitchen did not have enough storage and if using stove no ventilation which made kitchen very hot. Bathroom was messy and carpets very dirty. Don’t expect very much on tv only 2 channels available and no WiFi. Not good I’d you have kids. Most of the available fans did not work or not very well. Outside deck was unsafe for small children. The water had leeches, snakes, turtles and frogs.
