The cabin was cozy. A few too many dead animals hanging up for my taste. When we arrived there was less than a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and no further supply and also no paper towels. You may want to bring both those items with you. The lake was beautiful and it was very quiet. We had a lovely stay.

More than we could have imagined

Very nice, cozy cabin right on the pond. The place had everything as advertised. We had a nice stay.

Beautiful location. Quiet and serene. No detail overlooked. We are an older couple. But the place would have been perfect for families. Nature lovers. Very spacious. Easy to see hosts cared about their guests.

The best part of this cozy cabin was the view. All kitchen essentials were present as well. Might want to bring own clean duvet/comforter for beds. No internet access either, if that matters to you but seemed to be fitting for the getaway I was looking for.

This cabin was very peaceful and nicely furnished.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and organized when we arrived. We loved having the fire pit and pond right in the back yard. Very nice, quiet location. Patty was extremely responsive to questions.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Its secluded enough to allow an escape from the mundane day to day, and allows you to connect with nature or recoonecr with a loved one. The decor was wonderful and really made it unique. The shops in town, restaurants, were nice to get out for a day. Campfire, boating, fishing, and relaxation were very much enjoyed. Thank you Patty & Stuart!

The camp was perfect for my Summer Solstice celebration.
Quiet, comfortable, and convenient.
The only thing I missed was lack of internet services. I didn’t read the description closely enough to notice that internet services were not available at the camp.
I made do with old TV shows on antenna for local stations, DVDs/VHS movies provided by the owners, and the radio.
All-and-all it was a great time at my “home away from home.” 💕

It’s better than car camping. A temperate cabin with excellent amenities and perfect privacy. We loved getting away and having access to the dory. Excellent access to groceries and local restaurants, perfect solitude.

I moved from Maine to Ct 2 years ago and couldn’t wait to return, especially this time of year. Two friends and my dog, Abby and I were welcomed to the perfect place for us all. I just wish we could have stayed longer .

This place was great just like it was described clean on the water quiet neighborhood had an awesome stay The owners were great people to talk to and very easy going Wood stove in the living room fire pit outside gas grill on the deck What more can you ask for

The property was just as described. Private, cozy, clean, and a home away from home. There were so many eclectic pieces hung on the walls-conversation pieces. Coupled with thoughtful items left by the camp owner and sweet surprises tucked away by past camp goers, this place is definitely loved by many. We are definitely planning another trip. Such a great place !

We had a great time and had excellent communication with the owner. Mobile service (we use Verizon) was spotty at times but it was good to disconnect. Would recommend to others.

We had a great time! A much needed peaceful getaway. The neighbors are not really close to the cabin. Stuart and Patty were great to rent from. They were very helpful and left very good instructions. Loved the place!

Very nice rustic get away, has everything you need.

Beautiful, clean, well kept cabin in the woods. Perfect for a quiet escape. Definitely need bug spray for being in a wooded area, not much for fishing. Overall though and very nice place. Great communication with hosts.

So peaceful, relaxing, inviting. Wonderful area.

My husband and I really loved being able to enjoy it with our pup for our 20th anniversary. Extremely peaceful environment but also close to stores and restaurants. Very good communication with the owner

I came here from Maryland and wanted to fish long pond but it hasn't been stocked in 2 years. I think the pond has been fished out. But the cabin was really nice and quiet

This property was awesome and so was the booking process. Decorated like a cabin Cracker Barrell Restaurant. With all the decor, you would think a bunch of dust, but NO! The place was clean and equipped with everything you needed to make meals. Long Pond was great and had some great views when you went out on it. Great view from the deck. Awesome grill, fire pit, picnic tables and outdoor chairs, as well as 2 row boats. We also brought along a kayak and a paddle board, so we used the water a bunch! Great advice from the owners from setting off outdoor foggers to where to eat and many other things to do. We really had a great time and appreciated the cleanliness. We watched Who Framed Robert Rabit and laughed and laughed. Thank you for a great place to stay! Harold and Karen

My husband and I really enjoyed our week at your cabin. We loved the decor and the relaxing atmosphere. We rented a kayak for the week and your pond/lake beach entry made it really easy to use. It was also a time to savor the quiet. We explored local shops and cooked lobster and seafood every night. We can’t thank you enough!

Had a very relaxing stay in this quaint cabin on the pond.
The property was exactly as advertised. Super clean and comfortable, with an amazing array of interior decor that gives a real feeling of home in the country. Kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough cookware, utensils etc. The pond and surrounding nature, with its peace and serenity, were the icing on the cake. Communication with the hosts was excellent. An excellent place to get away from it all, yet not too far from restaurants, shopping, supermarkets etc. should the need arise. We highly recommend this cabin and loved it! We will hopefully be back for another stay in the future. Thank you for offering this property for our pleasure and enjoyment.

We enjoyed our time there. House is well stocked with essentials and clean. Excellent location, only 10 mins to Shawnee Peak and 25 mins to Conway/North Conway. We made an epic sledding hill from top of driveway (road) down to the frozen pond. A fun time was had by all.
4.8
Perfect for the two of us and our dog. I would not want to climb the ladder to the loft with the extra sleeping area (we're old). The cabin was well maintained and close to a lot of hiking areas. We'll try to come back when the fall colors are at it's peak.

Remote cozy cabin located near many outdoor activities. We really enjoyed the cabin and our stay there.

Nicely appointed with relatively modern furniture. The place was very clean and ready for our visit. Didn't want for anything while we were there.

We stayed at the house in late Aug. early Sept. 2021.Everything started out great but two days in we got the bad news that our house in NJ and also our own rental property in Bucks County Pa were in the direct path of storm IDA. We spent several days on pins and needles - wondering if we should abort our vacation and drive the 9 hours home or wait it out. We decided to wait it out, so it was back and forth to Fryeburg to pick up wifi (no data at the house with Boost Mobile only voice) to check the level of the Delaware River. Our own house suffered no damage. The floodwaters rose to within inches of first floor at our rental - our tenants had to evacuate in the middle of the night with the power out! It was a long couple of days mid-week but we were able to salvage our vacation by the end and enjoyed our last days there. It's a nice cabin and the decor is next level. Luck of the moose for us with the flooding.

Quiet location, well equipped cabin, just as advertised

We loved spending time on this peaceful pond and enjoying nature. Everything was exactly what we hoped for and more for a relaxing stay.
4.8
The cabin was just perfect for our stay. We wanted seclusion and a true Maine experience. It was that and more. Easy commute to Old Orchard Beach and Portland. Owners were great to communicate with.

We didn’t get to enjoy the water. Severe leech problem!! Also 2 water snakes seen daily near the beach area with all the frogs that kids like to catch!! There is only cat fish in the water for fishing. The basement smells like something died in there. Check out is 10 and should be 11 like a hotel., especially with 5 hours between the check in time!! The loft is dangerous going up and down with only one railing and the dog gate is a cheap rotted one with no latch!! I wouldn’t recommend bringing a child that is too young with the dangers of the water, loft and exposed brick around the wood stove and it not being enclosed. We could also here people talking, singing the houses were so close and music. The fireplace is on a hill and u can only fit 3 chairs. I am so happy to be home.
