Located on desirable East Beach, Rewind on 11th is the classic beach house you have been seeking. The best area of the beach on St. Simons is so close that you can hear the ocean. It's four houses up from the ocean and you will see stars on East Beach that you never knew existed. Enjoy the nostalgia of days gone by without compromising on any amenities in this 1940's-era home. The newly remodeled chef's kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with high-end appliances for entertaining. The dining/gathering space includes a new 50' flat-screen television.. Complimentary wireless internet indoors and poolside'. All bedrooms have televisions. The screened porch overlooks the fenced backyard featuring a heated pool, a fire pit, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower, with hot and cold water. The downstairs master suite opens to the pool deck, and the upstairs bedrooms have easy access to the covered porch overlooking a big front yard. There is plenty of outdoor space and your own private shuffleboard. All bedrooms have new beds and all of the remodeled bathrooms feature tumbled stone flooring and tiled showers. Beautiful neighborhood and a cool older home. Kitchen is modern with a built in icemaker (very handy). Plenty of seating for everyone, beds were comfortable. The house has an old Florida vibe which I really liked. Emmons Realty made everything simple. Would definitely stay again.

The check-in is easy, the facility is nicely remodeled and has spacious common, dining and kitchen areas. The heated pool was a huge plus for our spring visit; it makes this a 3-season house instead of 1-season. It is close to the North end of Bruce Dr (good) and the beach access path is unique, lovely fern and tree canopy. One small issue was resolved quickly by property management, an excellent plus.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at SSI, staying at "Retreat Home" on 2032 Bruce Dr, booked with Emmons Realty. The house is ideally located in East Beach: very close to beach access, roomy spaces in a vintage house with wonderful modern updates, and a very enjoyable outdoor space on the property with a pool. We would highly recommend "Retreat Home" on 2032 Bruce Dr. and booking with Emmons Realty. We will be sure to do it again!

Overall it was great. The pool & location was great. However, the bed linens need replacing & furniture looks very used. I’m glad I brought my own linens because the pillows and blankets were dirty. The kitchen was great but all the cookware was very random and leftoverish. There are no bread pans or good pots. The oven was ancient and awkward to operate but did the job. The freezer didn’t freeze, it was like a refrigerator. Ice maker for the counter was provided, enough for a couple people. The air conditioner upstairs didn’t keep upstairs cool enough. I would stay there again but would make sure freezer and HVAC are operating properly. You could tell it was end of season, lots of small maintenance needs and needed a deep cleaning. The washer and dryer were great to have because towels were limited too

You can't beat the location of this house, only 2 blocks from the beach. So easy to walk to. And easy driving access to restaurants and shops. The house was wonderful! The yard with the pool area and the fire pit was so private and relaxing. The house had plenty of space for our family of 9 people. The beds are SO comfortable - we all slept great! The only complaint I have is they updated the kitchen with high end appliances but it is not a well stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pans, plates, glasses, etc. We struggled with finding basic things needed for cooking. And what they do have is very cheap, low end. But if they upgraded some of that, then they could call it a chef's kitchen but as it is now, it is simply not. Overall a wonderful house and we enjoyed our stay. St. Simon's is a fabulous beach town.

Great size house for our 2 families! We didn’t feel on top of each other. We each had our own side of the hall upstairs. Loved the fenced in yard (nice to be able to bring our dog) and pool. Kids especially loved it - we paid an extra fee to heat the pool which was great for winter time. (It’s a small pool which was great for our kids.) Great neighborhood - close to beach and not far from restaurants. We would stay here again!

Superb location in the center of the East Beach neighborhood on SSI. This is one of the older beach homes filled with character. It had everything we needed, and I will rent again if I need a house this large. We especially loved the fire pit for chilly evenings, and the option to heat the pool.

This property is much improved over the prior year. Very clean and bright. Beds are very comfortable with clean sheets. All appliances were working which is a big improvement over last year. I can tell the owners are making a real effort. The manager responded very quickly to any issues including buying a Keurig from Target and delivering to the house. Our only issue was the pool. Usually it is a bright spot for the kids. Unfortunately when we jumped in it immediately burned our skin and badly faded our swim suits. We had just bought two expensive Sea Island swim shirts and now they are ruined. I’m sure it is not the owners or managements fault but it is a serious issue.

Main bedroom opens to it as does the screened porch. A block to the beach through an enchanted mini-forest. If you appreciated old homes restored, you will love this place. If you need 5 true bedrooms, 3.5 baths near beach w/pool, you will love this place. Sandy beach area by pool makes it even better- true vacation feel. Great St Simons location- bike to everything.
