About this house rental
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a sitting room off the master bedroom that also has a queen size couch bed. There is a living room, dining room & eat in kitchen. This home is fully equipped for your stay, including dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, toaster, coffee maker, and microwave. Pillows, blankets and linens are provided and beds are freshly made prior to your arrival. Guests need only to bring personal hygiene items. The home overlooks Thousand Islands Winery's picturesque vineyards, so you will enjoy unobstructed views of the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands Bridge during your stay. A private and spacious back deck with grill is a perfect place to enjoy all that surrounds you. A sizable paved parking area allows two cars. There is also plenty of parking available for boat trailers. Nearby attractions of the Alexandria Bay and Clayton areas include: a community pool at Keewaydin State Park, coffee shops, art galleries, unique stores, fitness center, boat tours, museums, kayak and boat rentals, golf courses and a large playground. The Thousand Islands Snowmobile Trail is located on the property. Mere steps from the Thousand Islands Winery's Tasting Room.

Stayed for a week with my son and a friend. House was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. When the weather was bad it was nice to have the winery on site and they have great tasting wines!! Would definately stay again

Myself and 5 friends stayed this past weekend while ice fishing the area. Very clean and convenient place to stay. Steve was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be returning!

Everything went as planned, no issues. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The winery and grounds were a great place to stay. We tried several different wines with all of them being excellent.

There was a little confusion with checking in as the rental was not ready, but they were very accomadating and gave us the other rental. This was a wonderful place to stay. The grounds at the Winery were beautiful, location was handy to places we were visiting, and staff at the tasting room were very friendly. The owner even talked with us the next day and apologized for the mix up. Our stay at Thousand Island Winery was wonderful and would not hesitate to stay there again. Maybe next time we will attend their Oktoberfest Festival!

The property manager and staff at the winery were very pleasant. We loved the complementary bottle of wine and discount at the winery! We enjoyed the blues music and fireworks during our fist day. The home was good size and had everything we needed. Super convenient location, close to Alex Bay, Clayton and stores for everything that we needed. The wifi went in and out but not a big deal as we were off on adventures most of the day. The weather was unexpectedly extremely hot making it difficult for the small ac units to keep up with cooling the home. It was a little uncomfortable trying to sleep with the sticky heat. The second step on the front of the home is very loose, we tripped multiple times and the back deck is wobbly but nothing that would deter another stay. Overall happy with everything!

We have stayed on the Thousand Island winery properties twice now and enjoyed it both times. The home was clean and had all you needed to start your stay. There was a lovely complimentary bottle of wine when we arrived. We will be back.

Such a perfect getaway experience. The house was comfortable, the beds were more comfortable than most hotels I've been in, and the quick hop, skip, and jump over to the tasting room was a nice little treat in the middle of the day. The people over at the tasting room were very friendly, and the quick 2 min drive to Price Chopper and Dollar General were a definite plus for a few groceries.

We loved our stay at the Chardonnay Cottage! Beautiful location….took many evening walks to watch the breathtaking sunsets over the St Lawrence River nearby.
The home was roomy, yet cozy, and very clean; the king size bed was very comfortable; the welcoming, complimentary bottle of Thousand Island Vineyard St Lawrence Red wine was a delightful and much appreciated surprise!
Looking forward to staying again. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one!

This was my second time renting one of the properties at 1000 Island Winery. The place was great and I would highly recommend it. Now if the owner could find a way to get the fish to cooperate it would have been perfect. I guess that would be asking too much. But if you are a fisherman it's the perfect setup close to dozens of boat ramps and the accomodations are very comfortable after a long day on the water.

We stayed at the Thousand Island Winery during their Octoberfest event. It was amazing. We could hear the music from the back deck and could go in and out to warm up - as it was pretty cold. Very clean and comfortable home. Will definitely book again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I cannot wait to come again everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The house was absolutely beautiful and cozy. If there was a ten star option I would definitely give this place that rating.

Wonderful stay!!
The house was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 5! It had everything we needed!! Absolutely loved staying close to the winery and every single staff member we came in contact with was incredibly nice! Stephen, the owner was always available within an hour if we messaged him! We cannot wait to stay here again!!!

Great Time, Wonderful People
We had a great time fishing and touring the area. House was nice and clean. Staff was great. Had issues with my boat battery charger and the owner and maintenance staff loaned me an extension cord and charger to keep us fishing.
You have to try the different wine slushies.

Very good location between Clayton and Alex Bay. The house was clean, very well stocked kitchen, and lots of sleeping areas. We were short some towels and that was remedied after we asked for them.The reduced rate on wine was an added bonus.

We originally thought at least one of our kids would join us, but it turned out to be just the two of us, but even having two bathrooms and lots of room to stretch turned out to be handy, and we had some family over for dinner one night ( nice!) . Very spacious and a great set up for a family, with everything needed, even a big screen TV. Easy access to Alex Bay or Clayton, as well as the bridge. Very convenient to everything, including groceries, with the Price Chopper just down the road. We had two events to attend, one on Wellesley Island and one in Rockport, ON. This was a perfect location for those trips. It was VERY quiet at night <3 and we really enjoyed the wine tasting in the early evening, too. We walked down the road to see some of the River and then also to the access road that goes underneath the bridge - a view of the bridge I had never had before! And if you are not afraid of heights, like I am, you can walk across the bridge, too. It was a great location and would be a real value for a family.
