About this house rental
Are you looking for something special? Then you are exactly right in our LANDHAUS AM AREMBERG. Elaborate and completely ecological renovated farmhouse from the year 1720 for you and your family or friends. Over the cobbled courtyard you reach the front door of the old stone house and enter the rustic fireplace room with exposed half-timbered. 4 bedrooms, all with antique furniture, provide comfortable space for a maximum of 9 persons. A spacious living area with couch, Smart TV, and large dining table invites you to a cozy get-together. Those seeking peace and quiet can treat themselves to a break in the library reading room, while hobby and professional chefs enjoy the two fully equipped, nostalgic country kitchens. Two modern bathrooms with shower and bath (of course with window) are at your disposal.
Its idyllic location owes it, among other things, a garden of over 1000 square meters with old fruit trees, herbal bed, barbecue, sun loungers and seating, which invites you to linger, relax and barbecue and all our guests together. In the adjacent half-timbered house, two small apartments each accommodate two additional guests.
Bicycle storage and free rental bikes are also available.
In less than 100m you reach a butcher with a bakery and a fruit shop, where you can also buy things of daily use. There is also a doctor in the small village. In the village itself there is a pizzeria, two restaurants can be reached within 5km. Do you love hiking or cycling? Then you are exactly right with us at the Landhaus am Aremberg. The 85km long Ahrsteig leads directly past the Aremberg. In addition, the nature parks of the Eifel and the Eifel National Park offer numerous other possibilities and are ideal for hiking holidays. Would you rather take a bike ride? On disused railway lines and along the rivers, you will find a variety of family-friendly and easier bike tours - passionate and sporty cyclists take many a rise on the heights of the Eifel in purchase, rewarded by fantastic views. The following leisure activities / tips can be reached quickly: Freilinger See (approx. 10km), Nürburgring (20km), Designer Outlet City Bad Münstereifel (25km), open-air museum Kommern (30km), historic old town of Blankenheim (20km), red wine hiking trail / Dernau / Mayschoss (30km ), Manderscheider castles (55km)

We stayed at this beautiful, quiet cottage for three nights. There are two sections to this property. The section with all the guest rooms + if you go through the kitchen door (that is closed), through the storage area to the next door, you will find a large second living area with the main kitchen and all the dishware, glasses, silverware, coffee maker, etc., + a dining room and living room. We paid for the bed linens, coming from the U.S., which worked out great. The cottage was very clean and well-kept. There is one bathroom with a shower on the 1st floor and a second one with a nice deep bathtub on the 2nd floor. If you are over the height of 5’6”, make sure to look for the cautionary tape as some of the ceilings are low. The deli down the street runs out of pasties and stops making coffee by 11am, but they do have a deli for sandwiches or cold cuts. Café Frank was our lifesaver offering coffee all day + breakfast. We ate at Café Frank the most. The couple who run it are so kind. Communication with Stephanie and Rolf was great. They were very responsive whenever I had a question. Our main purpose was to drive on the Nurburgring, which we did through RSRNurburg. I highly recommend the 1st Timers Package and pay the extra euros for an instructor to be with you for all of your laps as there are accidents and so many fast cars. I would also highly recommend staying at this cottage. It’s a roomy, quiet, very clean cottage and the owners are quite nice. Thank you!
