We had a fantastic time! Karen was very friendly and helpful during our stay. She gave us great hiking recommendations. The place was very clean and conveniently located between Glacier National Park and Whitefish. We’d absolutely come back.

The apartment was a little dated but clean. The shower is a very small standup shower. The location was not what I expected. Lot of teenagers walking the streets in the dark late at night. Thankfully our vehicle was fine and nothing happened.

Karen was an excellent host for this one bedroom upstairs condo. She had thought of most everything with a fully equipped kitchen, and living room with DVDs and a bedroom that had several books to choose from.
She was very thoughtful with the amenities that were added to the unit. The condo was very clean and personable. We loved the fact that we could sit outside on the porch and she provided a grill if we chose to use it.
It was a comfortable sofa and two nice reclining chairs in the living room. There was a TV, but it only played DVDs due to the fact that there is no service for the television. That was quite fine as we were exhausted from our days in Glacier.
She will also rent bear spray to you for $10 a visit. We had been in Canada and needed to purchase the bear spray there so we left ours behind as well.
We would definitely stay here again. It was very close to Glacier.

Great location close to Glacier NP. Upstairs, rustic, but all conveniences and extras. Dated in that cozy grandma way, but not worn, just comfy. Karen was great!

Karen was a wonderful host! This rental is perfect for the two nights we stayed. You’re close to the Glacier entrance but also not far from Columbia Falls or Kalispell for shopping. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. If we ever visit the area again, we would stay again.

Communication with Karen was easy and she was quick to respond. A couple days before our trip Karen sent us detailed instructions on how to get there and offered the option to rent bear spray. Upon arriving she went over things we needed to know about the rental and shared her experiences with the trails we were planning to hit. The cabin itself was warm and cozy. It is a little dated but everything you need is there. Convenient location to the park and across the street from the huckleberry patch.

This is a wonderful property, and we had a wonderful stay. Karen is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable about the area. Don’t trust GPS to find the property, use the directions that Karen will give you. The local store is well equipped with anything you need. I highly recommend this property, and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Kate for everything.

I stayed at Karen's place a couple years ago and was so pleased that it was available for a return visit with my sister. Karen is a warm person and a terrific host—she really helped us navigate the Going to the Sun road travel changes through very clear communication prior to our visit.
On arrival, Karen welcomed us and helped us decide how to best spend our only day in Glacier—which was a huge help.
The apartment was exactly what we needed. Hope to come visit a third time!

This property was just what we needed and more.....close to Glacier NP, CLEAN, quiet and comfortable. The Martins were very friendly and helped give advice for our experience in the park. My wife loved being able to sit inside the apartment or out on the deck and watch the hummingbirds visit the feeders! Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. Only thing I would say on the "downside" is that I'm a bigger guy and the shower stall was on the smaller side for me....however, it worked perfectly fine.

We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were great to work with. Neighborhood was quiet and location at the end of deadend road. Cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Only disappointment was a few differenes in expectations-probably our fault for not asking more questions but this was our first VRBO stay. First, this is not a separate cabin, but a room built into the upstairs of an existing house- view was of the garage. There was no air conditioning except for windows, which was fine except for the bedroom-no windows in the bedroom. Fans helped, but still hot. Lastly, the shower is very small- was fine as long as you don't drop the soap or need to shave your legs. Overall was great, especially since we were going to Glacier Nat'l Park and location was close to it and other attractions.

Just my husband and I visiting the area from Kansas. This property looked exactly as the listing showed, but what a photo can’t capture is the pure charm and comfortableness of the little cabin like loft. Very clean, basic, but everything you want when visiting the mountains. A little porch to relax on in the cool evenings, complete with hummingbirds visiting the feeder hung from the porch. Karen was an excellent host, welcoming, full of knowledge and just plain nice. We went in and out of Glacier Natl Park and could easily do so as this place is so close. Not many options of lodging this close that aren’t real sketchy and super touristy. I highly recommend.
