Everything was as advertised. Karen was great. Would highly recommend!

The property and rental was nice and the host was very friendly and easy communication. Definitely follow the host’s directions to the place, because maps will try and take you there through a blocked sketchy area… we didn’t realize half of the town of Hungry Horse is abandoned and overgrown. The town itself and property’s neighbors did not give off good vibes.

This is a charming place, with everything necessary for a pleasant stay while enjoying Glacier National Park. The kitchen was well outfitted and the rooms were attractive.

Karen was great, she communicated perfectly prior to our arrival and then as we checked in. The unit was very clean and well stocked, very roomy and homey with a great selection of DVD's and VHS tapes to watch. Thank you

Enjoyable stay in Hungry Horse at Martins Vacation home. Our lovely host Karen made us feel welcome and right at home. The house was so warm and inviting--we loved the wooden walls, comfy beds, and the flower gardens. The hosts have thought of everything. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Do not miss the huckleberry milkshakes available in town!

We had a very comfortable stay with Karen at her place. She was so accommodating and welcoming. The neighbors caused a bit of noise across the road one night but not the other. I would stay here again. Good access to west glacier, about 1hr15 from Logan’s pass

Time spent at our stay was to cook, eat, sleep, shower. About 15-20 minutes from west Glacier. Wonderful and informative host! We would recommend this stay and would stay again if back in the area!
The only hick-up was our GPS, but Karen/host came outside and welcomed us and showed us around!

Great location to the park. A great space for a multi night stay. I would definitely stay at this place again!

We were very happy with this very clean, rustic A-frame apartment. it was very roomy and comfortable. Karen was great. It's in an excellent location, close to the west entrance of Glacier, but not too far to enjoy dinner in Columbia Falls. Would stay again. Thank you!

This property was just as advertised. The space was very clean, and was stocked with everything you could need. I will definitely try and book here the next time I come.

Host really wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. She is very helpful and excellent communication.

All went well during our stay, 4 days. It is close to Glacier and less expensive than some others I investigated. I did not know until I got there that it was an upstairs apartment. It was a bit difficult to carry the luggage up the stairs. We managed and loved the experience.

Karen was there to greet us. She showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. Very cordial host. Very clean accommodations. Was very helpful in assisting us with the best ways to enter Glacier National Park, including some information regarding road construction and ways to avoid it. Our thanks to Karen and her husband regarding information about restaurants in the area and other things to see.

Great host, spacious cabin-feel apartment convenient to park entrance and dam. This space has everything you need and the charm of a woodsy camp or cabin. Didn’t notice a mountain view as described. Only a few small windows did not allow much natural light or view of anything but neighbors yard and the mobile home community in the next street over. This rental is a couple blocks off the main road in the unpolished, small town of Hungry Horse.

Everything from start to finish was so smooth here. Karen was very helpful and welcoming. We appreciated the clean, spacious area and quiet evenings when we returned from Glacier, which was only a few minutes away.

Everything was perfect with the stay. Loved the amount of room we had. Kitchen was stocked well. We loved everything about it. Owner was polite and checked on us mid stay. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever back that way.

Karen, the proprietor, is lovely. The cabin was spacious and like a house. She generously supplied paper products, a cooler with ice and the kitchen had every utensil imaginable and device imaginable. And coffee! We both slept like babies. Karen was so accommodating. Great location near the park! We would come back in a heartbeat.

Close to west entrance to Glacier
Karen was very helpful and answered all inquiries before and during our trip promptly and thoroughly.
The house worked well for my friend and I. I would note that the bedroom does not have a door, in case privacy is important to someone. The two of us had plenty of space and it was a comfortable place to relax after long hikes. As others have mentioned, the location is near town and about 20 minutes to west Glacier.

Great place, great host!
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. Karen was very kind and gave us all the information we needed prior to our arrival. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Nice upstairs apartment, pine paneling throughout gave it a woodsy cabin feel. It had a well equipped kitchen for eating in, coffee maker and coffee as well as dish soap and detergent for local laundromat. The bed seemed soft but was comfortable. The location was just off the highway to Glacier which was 10 minute drive. The local grocery was close as well. We dined at Patricia's Cafe for a great breakfast right there in Hungry Horse. Other dining at Josephine's and Packers Roost were just 3 miles up the road in Coram, and we enjoyed both.
Karen, our host, was polite and explained nuances of the rental, light switches and the like. Although she lives on the property, she gave us our privacy which was nice.
While the neighborhood is modest and the nearby housing somewhat humble, I walked around the area and had absolutely no concern for my safety.
I prefer a private rental to the larger commercial chains because it gives you a better sense of the local people that spend their everyday lives there.

Karen is a great host. This is a very clean property and big enough for a single family. There’s a front living room and another sitting room as part of the 2nd bedroom. Shower only, no bath. We were only 2 adult travelers. I would definitely stay here again.

Karen is a wonderful host. Property is super clean and cozy. Close to shopping and the park. It was our second time at the property and would stay again

Ideal proximity to Glacier
Karen was responsive and kind. She provided good hints for Glacier NP. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location in proximity to Glacier NP is ideal. The neighborhood interesting. We felt safe but we weren’t expecting it to be located next to trailer homes.

Very spacious. We felt at home. We saved so much money by being able to cook our own breakfasts and dinners in the fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Price was right!!
Karen had given many ideas on touring the area and we really appreciated her heads up in getting the pass ahead of time for the “Going in the Sun” road through Glacier NP.
Thanks Karen.

Great experience
A bit in the outback, began to wonder when we drove in. All went away when we met great host Karen, and went inside. Impeccably clean , comfortable, and fully stocked. Karen has thought of everything. Quietest place, we've ever stayed. Location perfect for visiting GNP and resting up at end of big day hiking!

The owner is great. Walked us through the unit thoroughly explaining all the features. Centrally located with only a 15 drive to the West Glacier entrance and 30 minutes or less to Whitefish and Kalispel.
