Wonderful spacious studio in a peaceful farm setting. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return if we are in the area.
The studio is in a rural area surrounded by a small farm and orchard. The area is quiet except for the front porch that is facing the road. Back patio is quiet, but uncovered. The studio was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. I did not cook much, the kitchen was well supplied for simple meals. Somewhat lacking wall outlets in usable places, so bring some power outlets.
Emily is easy to communicate with and very friendly. I even picked some fresh blueberries with her.
The area has spotty cell phone coverage so make sure to get any arrival information early.
I highly recommend this rental. It's an easy 15 minute drive to touristy Camden for restaurants and groceries, and so nice to come back to relax.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at Hope Orchards. The spacious, renovated barn is even nicer than in the pictures online. Everything you need is available, and the studio is immaculate. There is more than enough space for two adults, and the bed is very comfortable. The surrounding grounds of Emily and Brien's home and orchard are beautiful, and we enjoyed fresh blueberries and lettuce right from the orchard and gardens. Since we stayed in early August, we were fortunate enough to also enjoy watching the meteor showers on a clear night. The property is only a short drive from Camden, and beautiful hikes and sightseeing without the traffic and bustle of Route 1! We will be recommending the Hope Orchards studio to family and friends! Thank you Emily and Brien!

This is a must stay experience nestled in the mountains but not too far away from things you want to do. The hosts are fantastically sweet and kind. Their studio is like a small fully furnished apartment! Amazing patio and views of their orchard. Very clean and up to date! No TV was amazing! They do have internet and WiFi available so you aren’t without for those that cannot get away from technology. We loved the quiet nature of it all and the general store is literally a stones throw away. Lots of hiking available in the area as well. People definitely need to get on board with Hope, Maine and Hope Orchard.

This is an amazing getaway. It is surrounded by an apple orchard. The owners are really nice people and very attentive. If you have any needs or wishes. The space itself is very clean, bright, and homey. They have managed to take part of a bottom floor of a barn and redo it into a wonderful little space Big enough to feel large, and yet cozy. Yes, it’s all that.

If you find that the hustle and bustle of Camden, Rockport and Rockland can be a little much at times, and you can appreciate pretty rural land - consider staying at the orchard in Hope. Emily and Brien were kind hosts, and the place is idyllic. The terrace outside on the south side of the barn was a great place to sit in the morning and evening, and the deep porch on the east side was a good place to sit and escape the heat of the afternoon. The orchard is picturesque and flanked by low mountains, and if you like to locavore, they have a farm stand 30 yards from the door, and in the neighborhood there is a hennery for fresh eggs, a cookie shack and an apiary with local honey and maple syrup. I can vouch for the apples, sugar snap peas, cabbage and tomatoes from the orchard :-). Megunticook Lake, Hobbs Pond, Lincolnville General Store, and the attractions of Camden, Rockport and Rockville are all closeby.

The stay was memorable.
The studio is perfect for enjoying time outdoors on the porch or sitting at the table and taking in all the lovely views.
Emily is always working so hard in her orchard. What a delightful couple.
I highly recommend the studio, you will not be disappointed.

This rental was perfect for our needs. The owner, Emily, was pleasant to work with and went above the standard to provide us with little extras. We even got the chance to meet Emily.
The location of this place was close to the coast line and central to many of Maine’s attractions. I loved how quiet and quaint the area of Hope is and look forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were generous and very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts had left fresh blueberries to welcome us when we arrived. The pictures don't do the suite justice; it is even larger than it appears in the photos. Even though it is in the country, it is very convenient to Camden, Rockport, and a lot of amazing hiking. If anything, it was better than we expected. We highly recommend Emily and Brien's suite at Hope Orchard.

We enjoyed our relaxing stay here. This converted barn was roomy with a full kitchen and bath. It was nice to spread out and enjoy the quiet views after a busy, sightseeing week along the coast. Brien even gave us a couple of apples that were close to harvest ready. Delicious! We will definitely be back if we are in Maine again. Highly recommend.

I had a feeling, from pix, write-up, and reviews that the studio would be wonderful. And it absolutely lives up to all the stellar reviews. It is immaculate, newly renovated, and designed and furnished with love and attention to details. It's located on spectacular property with beautiful views of the orchard. While this is a rural property, it's near towns and a few paces from a general store. So convenient. Ours was a (too) short stay. We want to return and return. The smell of grass, the fog that burns off, the front porch, and seating out back. Splendid. Pull out couch if needed. Large room with a screened-off bed. Sparkling new bathroom. Great for alone time, or a couple.

This was a wonderful place to rest and relax after exploring the endless possibilities within a very reasonable driving distance. Brien and Emily were amazing hosts. We felt like family. The space is wonderful and extremely comfortable (soft bed if that matters to you). Highly recommend choosing Hope Orchard!!!

Our 9 day stay
This is a roomy property, very quiet with lovely views of the apple trees. Heat/AC worked well. It was a great jumping off point for lots of wonderful towns and things to do and views to take in. Even an easy trip to Acadia and Castine, Rockland, Rockport and Thomaston. We filled everyday with an adventure.
Just note that there is no TV although we did not need one.

Beautiful, comfortable lodging
From the moment we arrived, the hosts were super helpful suggesting places to see and things to do. Their rental is one of the most comfortable and cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at. Anything you might need is provided. We were truly sorry to leave and will certainly stay again if we’re in the area.

A little slice of heaven!
This property is a little slice of heaven. Located near Camden but out of the tourist circle. The accommodations are located in a updated barn. The outside says "barn", the inside says "darling". Airy open space with fabulous nature views. Well appointed kitchen, bath, eating, and sitting area. Small terrace outside offers wonderful vista of property and is a delight to sit on with morning coffee, or evening wine.
The owners are kind and informative, present but invisible, you'll see them working the property, but not in your business. It was a wonderfully comfortable space to return to after a day of soaking in the delights Maine has to offer.
I highly recommend this property, especially if you are seeking a quiet respite close to, but outside of the tourist towns.

Experience a Taste of Maine
Our stay at Hope Orchards was a five star experience all around. Relax on the patio and enjoy the scenery and nature’s beauty. Go a few miles and you’re on Route 1 ready to experience Camden, Belfast and midcoast area. Emily and Brien were wonderful hosts and went the extra mile to answer questions about things to do and even helped us when our car wouldn’t start! The apartment was fabulous and exactly as stated— clean, nicely appointed and private. Highly recommended to anyone that wants an authentic taste of Maine or just to stay and relax at the orchard.

Great place
Beautifully renovated space. Only negative (and some might consider it a positive) was lack of cell phone service with my provider. Comfortable place, nice host.

Hope Orchards, Maine 5 Stars
I must say I was so pleased with my stay at the Hope Orchards, 434 Camden Road, Hope ME 04847. The renovated room was spacious and immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The room had everything you needed (refrig, stove, sink, microwave, living room area, bathroom, and bedroom area). The view was a typically Maine view of an apple orchard and mountains in the distance. The nice think about its location is that it was in the “Country” but within five minutes of downtown Camden. Spend the day in Camden or Rockland and time out on a Schooner (Like the Schooner Appledore II) and then retreat to the country. The owners are friendly and feel like family. They maintain your privacy. My next visit back to Vacation Land will definitely include a stay at Hope Orchards. I just can’t say enough about my three day stay at the Hope Orchards. Well done!!!
