Original plan was 3 adults but thank goodness only 2 stayed. Listing states air conditioning and I called managers to ask if it was central air. I was told it was but arrived to find one window unit that worked properly. Other bedrooms AC was located in a laundry closet. The floor heater was on without any information about it making the entire house heated in late June! We requested fan but it came late the next day. Owners of property were out of town but very apologetic when they returned. Managing company was useless.

Cute little 2 bedroom casita, walkable to main square in Santa Fe.

Susan and Reid were perfect hosts. Their casita was beautifully appointed with everything we needed to make for an enjoyable 3 day visit to the area. They provided welcome snacks that made it even more inviting. We’ll be back!

The Desert Sky retreat is a beautifully appointed house decorated in an authentic and artistic Santa Fe style. It is quiet, comfortable and very clean, with a small charming outdoor patio off the well stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided a welcome package of local Santa Fe coffee, snacks and a bottle of wine. The house is in a perfect location. A grassy river walk is just across the street, perfect for walking our dog. Several great restaurants are within walking distance and the Santa Fe plaza is just a .6-mile walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

My family and I (including our two dogs) just finished a lovely three-night stay at the Desert Sky casita. Everything was terrific and we recommend it highly. Pre-arrival communications from the host, Susan, were timely and very helpful, and she was responsive, accommodating, and charming throughout our stay. She made all of us and our dogs feel most welcome. Check-in was extremely smooth and easy. And the casita is wonderful: beautifully decorated and furnished, with a nice small enclosed courtyard for our exclusive use. We loved the heated floors in the bedrooms and bathroom -- so comfortable in the winter cold. The casita is just across the street from the Santa Fe river and its paths, so dog walks or family walks to the Plaza area were quick, easy, and beautiful. Overall it was the perfect place for a perfect stay. We will definitely come back again and give it (and Susan) our highest recommendation.

My wife, adult daughter and I stayed at Desert Sky for a long weekend at the end of April. It snowed several inches! This is a small but very functional and charming house with two bedrooms, two nice beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a living room, It is beautifully decorated (in part with the artwork of one of the owners, whose home and studio is adjacent) and very clean. The house is shielded from the road by the owner's house and a small courtyard, so, it is pretty quiet and private. The house is very conveniently located within walking distance of the old town and is a two or three minute drive from Canyon road with it's huge concentration of art galleries. The owners greeted us on our arrival and were helpful and friendly throughout. Next time we visit Santa Fe, we'll check here first.

Absolutely charming and casita had a very classic and eclectic charm. Very comfortable and beautifully stocked for guests. The finishes on this casita were high end and the hostess was warm and cordial. Excellent location to Guadalupe district and Santa Fe plaza. I would definitely return next year. Thank you

This spot couldn’t have been better for what my friend and I needed for a long weekend get away. We were able to walk to the plaza for a lovely day of window shopping, and it was a quick drive over to Canyon Rd and to the farmers market in the railroad district. The owners were quite charming. The casita is a few feet from their back door but the design allows for complete privacy. They made themselves known and available at check in and then left us to ourselves. The space is quite small as noted in their listing. But they have made excellent use of every square inch. They even left us a goodie bag of chips and local salsa and a bottle of wine, along with handcrafted soap and lip balm in the bathroom and chocolates on the bedside table. The bed linens and towels were of exceptional quality as well. Many small touches that made the stay extra special. Additionally, the art in the space is incredible. From the prints of the owner’s exquisite paintings to the detailed woodwork of the doors and the artistry of the hinges, this place was a dream that did not disappoint!

It could not have been more accommodating and decorated with beautiful antiques by an artis with impeccable design. The little Kiva was warm and welcoming. There was nothing left to desire even though it is very small but navigable. Furnished with beautiful bedding, towels, kitchen complete right down to a great bottle of wine and snacks upon our arrival. It was very private and quiet. We will return. Thank you Susan and Reid !

Very special casita
Casita is small, as advertised, but special in every way. Beautifully appointed with interesting, eclectic furniture, artwork and artifacts. Terrific little kitchen, private courtyard. Short walk to plaza. Only downside is limited space for luggage, etc. I would definitely return.

OK
Very uncomfortable seating arrangements in the living room. Bed in right bedroom very saggy mattress. Inn keepers were very helpful. Would be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries.

Nice Stay in Guadalupe District
The casita is located right behind the owners home. It is in a neighborhood that is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza. It is small, nicely decorated, with some outdoor seating. It was quiet at night and we were comfortable walking from the Plaza at night. The check out process was easy, with no special instructions. It works well for a couple but would be crowded to add another person beyond that.

Quick trip to Santa Fe with girlfriends
Communication was great. They were usually giving me info right before I thought to ask. The property was so quite and you could hear the birds singing in the patio. It was perfect for 3 women wanting to get away. Close to everything you might want to see. It was decorated so cute and had beautiful paintings that the owner had painted. A perfect little casita.

Amazing Santa Fe vibe
Stayed here for 4 days during summer of 2021 with my 17 year old daughter; it was perfectly sized for us. It is quite small (as is described in the listing) but every space is thoughtfully used. The decor is downright gorgeous and we booked it because we wanted a true Sante Fe vibe--it did not disappoint in that regard! Two small bedrooms, comfy beds, compact but serviceable bathroom (with gorgeous tile!), well-equipped kitchen, private and enclosed patio with water feature--we loved all of these things. Two slight negatives: we had quite a bit of noise from neighbors, especially in the evening when loud talking and TVs could easily be heard, as the casita is closely situated to other dwellings (i.e. shared wall) in a densely populated area. And, the property manager texted (unsolicited) on our day of arrival to say we could check in early once the casita was cleaned, which raised our hopes/expectations, but that never materialized and while we were told we would be contacted when the unit was ready, we never were. It left us in limbo with regard to plans. Still, overall a really great stay and if we want to be among beautiful furnishings again, we will return!

Excellent location in Santa Fe
We loved staying at the Two Casitas property during our stay in Santa Fe. The property is clean and well kept and was very comfortable for us. Location is excellent and the property suited us well. Our only complaint is that the wifi signal was very weak - so weak in fact that we weren't able to stream shows on the Roku device provided in the rental or on our own computers or participate in video meetings on webex or zoom at the property unless we connected using one of our phones as a hotspot. Something i hope can be easily addressed for future renters.

Cozy Bungalow With Great Location
The Desert Sky bungalow was perfect for me and my husband, as we don't need a lot of space and we love to be close to the action. The walk to the plaza was perfect and pleasant. Likewise, the walk to the Railyard and the farmers market was just right. We had everything we needed to make our breakfast/lunch meals and enjoyed them on the private back patio. Checkin was a breeze and everything worked as expected. We'll stay here again on our next visit to Santa Fe!

Santa Fe Hideaway
We enjoyed our stay at this stylish little casita and appreciated all the thoughtful touches, including fresh flowers, a patio with grill, local guidebooks, and wine and snacks. It’s an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. I was a little worried about noise, but the casita is tucked away and was a peaceful retreat after enjoying all that Santa Fe has to offer. It’s nice to stay in a place that reflects the local style. The kiva fireplace, carved doors, artwork, and antiques are all carefully curated. Only caveat- if you need a lot of space, this little casita is not for you, but we found it very comfortable and homelike.
