A beautiful property and amazing hostess.

Beautiful house with stunning gardens and pool area. Very comfortable rooms with everything provided. Delicious breakfast. Marie was a delight and so helpful. Her recommendations were first class and nothing was too much trouble.

Une petite parenthèse aux portes de Nîmes !

Ecrin de verdure aux portes de Nîmes. Espace de tranquillité où nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin avec des produits frais et de saison. La piscine pour se rafraîchir après une journée de visite. Chambre spacieuse. Les recommandations de visite et de restaurants de notre hôte :).

Un tout petit bémol sur le passage de quelques avions mais qui se comptent sur les doigts d'une main dans une journée :)

Delightful in every respect.

The house and garden are a dream- a beautiful classic French country home. Our hostess was charming and gave us lots of useful information. The breakfast was excellent, the quality of the food and drink exceptional. It’s a 15 minute drive to Nimes and half an hour to the beautiful little town of Uzès. Very highly recommend!

Een top verblijf. Zeer smaakvolle inrichting, grote ruimte.

Als er ooit een 10+ gegeven gaat worden dan nomineren wij deze B&B. Wat een fantastische gastvrijheid en wat een mooi verblijf. Echt geweldig.

Alhoewel de locatie top is zal je altijd in de auto moeten stappen voor een restaurant. Meestal ben je toch wel 15 min onderweg. De aanbevolen restaurants waren wel geweldig

L'accueil très sympathique. Les conseils pour la visite de Nîmes et les restaurants. L'ambiance de ce joli mas au calme bien qu'il soit situé tout près du cœur de ville.

This place is like a dream! Everything is so tasteful and romantic. The room, the pool, the garden.. Having croissants with homemade jams for breakfast in the morning by the garden.. Enjoying the pool on the hot summer days..It felt like we were in an French movie. Marie was so helpful and nice in an effortless way. We loved it! Nimes is a lovely town just 10' by car. And within 30' by car you can discover many other places like Avignon, Arles, Uzes. We loved it!

We had the most delightful time and a romantic and well appointed room looking over a French garden.

We loved everything about our stay. Friendly host, fabulous breakfasts, gorgeous setting, beautiful garden, swimming pool, adorable dog.

Wonderful surroundings, lovely dog. Very good breakfast. Room excellent. Great pool area. The owner/ daughter was very helpful. Thank you for all Would recommend this silent getaway for romantic days. We want to come back for longer next time.

Perfect in every way.

Marie is a superb host- kind, charming, helpful. Excellent breakfast. This 200 year old home and its furnishings are quintessential French. We felt transported back in time. Gorgeous gardens and pool. Very quiet. We have stayed in places all over the world. This ranks as one of the loveliest. Location requires a car which we knew before we chose Mas d'Escattes.

nice, cosy and big Apartment. You have everything you need in it( cooking material, dishwasher, etc…). Beautiful Garden. Adorable family that run the place.

Beautiful house and gardens and lovely apartment. All facilities were available in the flat and the garden was lovely. Plus the pool! Brilliant location too - bit out of the hubbub but close to Nimes and a main road to other places.

Superb

Breakfast was more than adequate. Enjoyed the fresh fruit juice . Marie was very helpful . Allowed us to use the kitchen to cook our dinner when it was difficult to dine out . The room is very clean . Everything was fine .

Beyond our expectations. We will be returning.

We found the proprietor was exceptionally attentive to her guests. Most helpful. We loved the gardens and pool area and enjoyed other guests who were also staying there.

What a gem!

Everything was outstanding. The property is gorgeous, there are so many details to look at and admire. A stop at the swimming pool was delightful in a hot day. The room was luxurious. Above all Marie was a very thoughtful and considerate host. I would highly recommend to stay there!

Beautiful home away from home

For breakfast: Fresh bread, cheese, sausage, home-made jams, coffee and always fresh strawberries in a company of very nice host Marie, who was always ready to answer questions, help with reservations and just to chat.

Beautiful, quiet, centralized BnB for a fantastic trip.

Breakfast was delicious. The house and grounds are beautiful, and Marie is a fantastic host. The location was fantastic for a day trips to Nimes, Avignon, and wineries on the Cotes du Rhône. We will not forget Mas d’Escattes!

What a great place

This is an amazing B&B. The house and rooms were amazing, in a lovely village, surrounded by stunning countryside. Lovely breakfast, evening drinks etc. I also left my wash bag behind and it was posted to me, no charge, the next day. What a kind hostess. Definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommended

Marie was a charming host in her delightful historic family home that is beautiful and full of Provencal atmosphere. The area is very quiet and the colourful garden very special. Highly recommended.

One very minor drawback in an otherwise excellent house that we loved is that there are no restaurants nearby.
