By far one of the most phenomenal places I have stayed in so far. Where even to begin - check-in was seamless, the rooms are lovely and well designed, the location at the border of the Kasbah and the Medina is central to everything and ideal. The design is exceptional, the food was rich and delicious and art lends a creative and refined atmosphere.
But what makes Saba's house so special are the people who work there - they really make you feel at home and like you are surrounded by family. It's something so rare and special when you experience it, it's something that elevates your trip and stays with you.
The staff at Saba's House (Jaouad, Zaki, Abdullah, Medhi and owner Roya) just made us have the most special time. They were attentive to our every need, were so warm and friendly, and so caring. They gave us so many things like water and sweets with our tea which they didn't charge for, when I lost my sim card Zaki put in so much effort to help me find it late at night (and did!), when it was Eid and everything was closed they made us a delicious homemade chicken tagine, when it was another lady in the hotels birthday they hung up decorations and made her a cake. Roya gave us the best recommendations for art, tours, and even hotels in other parts of Morocco.
It takes something so special for all the elements of a hotel to combine to provide such an incredible, warm, memorable experience - and Saba's house definitely has it! Cannot recommend it highly enough - and we will certainly be back!!!
Nothing - was such a perfect stay!

Excellent all round, first-rate. Delightfully magical. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Escorted me to places I was unsure of finding in the Medina and ensured that I would be walked back to Riad afterwards. The Riad is inside the medina and the top floor roof terrace, where breakfast is served, has fabulous views of the medina, the port and Mediterranean Sea as well as some of the Kasbah. The breakfast too is wonderful and plentiful. There are lots of comfortable lounges to relax.
Able to advise on anything I enquired about and arranged tours, guides and airport pickup/drop off taxis for me.
Roya, the charming and very glamorous proprietor of this gorgeous Riad, is most welcoming and informative. The rooms are all beautifully individually styled and extremely comfortable and so clean with slippers and bathrobes provided. Everything you need.
A fabulous place to stay and is very peaceful, the only sound is the gentle and pleasing tinkle of the fountain. Would thoroughly recommend Riad Dar Saba, and would happily stay there again in a heartbeat. it is extremely clean and so very comfortable with wonderful staff.
Thank you Riad Dar Saba for making my stay in Tangier even more enjoyable and special.
Having visited Morocco a number of times, this was my first time to Tangier and I enjoyed it immensely. Loved it. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe my whole trip. I would 100% encourage any one of my family to visit. Also, just for info, €uros were excepted everywhere once I spent all my Dirhams.

Brilliant experience, we were met at the airport and taken to our Riad. Stunning art, great staff and lovely rooms we really enjoyed our stay and will be going back and recommending it to friends. Really lovely part of the city too. Get a guide from our riad and check out the private hamman.

The staff were fantastic, so incredibly welcoming. Zaki couldn't do enough to make us feel so welcome - there is also a special mention to Jawad as well (sorry if I've mis-spelled that) who was so engaging and led us through the laneways to reach our ferry. Fabulous breakfast. Extremely peaceful stay. Beautiful room.
Nothing comes to mind.

If you are looking for a truly magical way to stay in Tangier - Saba’s House is the answer.
Apart from being perfectly located in the heart of the old town, this riad raises standards of hospitality to a whole new level. No expense is spared and no detail is too small when it comes to customer service and comfort.
Roya, the glamorous owner, has managed to combine the essence of a traditional riad with a super modern art house. Her renovation and opening of the hotel was recent (they opened in 2019)and her collection of modern art that surrounds visitors is impressive.
Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. Beds and pillows were of the top quality, the heating and showers worked well, breakfast was a feast - honestly, we couldn’t fault a single thing.
Roya doesn’t stop there, she is happy to recommend the best restaurants, shops, places to visit; arrange guides and transfers. Her riad is an epicentre of local life, we loved staying there, highly recommend it and will definitely come back.
It was perfect

Amazing boutique hotel. Feel at home. Staff is very helpful.
The hotel is located on a mountain and it is not allowed to drive up to it on your own. If you did not come by taxi, it will not be easy to get to the hotel.
Shebby towels, no window in the room

Excellent design. Great service. We couldn’t find the hotel at the beginning cuz we were driving. The narrow road in Tangier was very confusing. We ended up calling the hotel number on Google map and the owner sent a person to help us find the way immediately.
We also had a chance to have breakfast on the rooftop which gave us a great opportunity to enjoy the view of Tangier. Absolutely luxury experience. highly recommended.
PS: Must call the hotel if you are driving!

Location: perfect! Center of old town of Tangier.
Property: clean, new, stunning design of rooms and public spaces.
Staff: the nicest, kindest, and most helpful staff I ever encountered in any country! It was so easy to communicate via whatsapp, the staff was proactive and tried helping us with getting dinner, or get stuff we bought around to get to be sent to our room. The owner was charming and nice. I wouldn't consider any other accommodation next time I'm in Tangier!
None.

The most incredible stay, made our honeymoon the most magical time. Roya and all the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We had a great room and it was so comfortable and cleaned everyday. They even folded your clothes in the wardrobe and arranged my makeup! The breakfast was the best every morning at whatever time you want. Royas recommendations for shopping, beaches and restaurants were amazing. Zaki and Mehdi also went above and beyond to help us. The hamam was also fantastic. Could recommend this place enough.
