Other Things to Note:
DEEP WATER MARINA: I do not have a slip. An on-site harbormaster will help you with your boating and slip rentals and I can give you the contact info. The Marina accommodates all types of boats from jet skis to yachts. Boats require $300,000 Liability Insurance in the name of the person on the contract for the rental. And if there is room in boat storage for your trailer or boat, you can use it; otherwise, you will need to find parking off the property. This usually is not an issue, but you know if it becomes one. Summer is a high season for boat usage. It's first come, first serve on trailer/boat parking. I suggest trying Pilot House Marina as another option, or Pennekamp State Park or the Caribbean Club.
The Townhouse:
Sleeping Arrangements: 1. The kid's room has a bunk bed with a queen bed and twin on top and a twin Captain's bed with a twin pullout underneath. No adults on the top bunk bed, please! Two convertible chairs are provided in the downstairs living area that convert to twins. Please pull out the support legs on both ends when using.

Please note that the description and photos are accurate! As you can tell from my past guest reviews, this is an immaculate and comfy townhouse. I hope you find the best fit for your vacation needs and I do not want you disappointed. This is your vacation home away from home. It may have a light out (things happen but I provide many bulbs in the closet) or a dirty filter in the AC (I may have forgotten to change it last month)……things happen, but I'm here to fix it if needed. If you're here to enjoy the Florida Keys, this is perfect for you.…….relax, and enjoy.
Please do your research. If you are expecting a white sandy beach with waves, go to the West Coast of Florida or South Florida. Stay in the Keys if you want to be ON the water as we say here in the Keys. The best snorkeling, fishing, and diving in the world! Or go to a hotel or public park where they ship in sand. We have ocean access with a sandy area that steps into the ocean. The water in the Keys is shallow and only sea grass and sand until you get out to the reef—plenty of marine life. The area is wonderful for kayaking or paddle boarding through the mangroves. The closest parks are Founders Park, Harry Harris Park or Pennekamp State Park.
Two Cars are Permitted by HOA rules. Free Parking
It is suggested that travel insurance be purchased, as hurricane season is from June 1 to Dec 1, and there will be no refunds for canceled bookings due to hurricanes or mandatory evacuations.
If using the convertible chairs, please pull out the support legs on BOTH sides.

We had a great time (May 2023, 10 days). The house had everything we needed. Kids loved the bunk beds. Lots of living space. Spiral stairs were easy to handle for a 4-year old and a 60 year old. The kids loved swimming in the lagoon and fishing the jetty. Very easy for kids to catch Bluestriped grunts. There was never more than 10 people at the lagoon beach or at any pool or jetty, even on really nice days. The entire property was surprisingly quiet. Kayak launching was easy at the marina launch. I tossed the kayaks on top of my rental car roof rack and tied down to transport over. We saw nurse sharks, turtles and rays right on the flat between the jetty and Charles point, water was only 2 feet deep. Renting the golf cart from the owner was extremely helpful with little kids to get them (and gear) to and from the jetty or lagoon beach area, also great for taking out the trash and getting the key to the tennis courts from the guard house. We rented bikes (adult with a kid seat + kids bike) from All Keys and they dropped them off at the villa. There is a large kids park in easy biking distance and you can stop to feed sharks and have a drink at the KL Fisheries on the way. We rented jet skis from Keys Skis and Adventure and were able to drive right by the Kawama jetty (family saw us from the villa). We did not use the Kawama ocean beach due to Sargassum this season, but I expected that. Kids were satisfied with the lagoon beach and accessing the ocean from Kayaks or the jetty w

Great setup for 3 couples vacationing together. Very clean and fully equipped for cooking meals. Great patio for grilling and eating outdoors. Nice view and walking path to jetty to watch sunrise. Owner is very responsive and easy to work with for rental. Good area with lots of restaurants close by.

Comfortable group getaway
We had a nice stay at this Key Largo property but it could use some minor repairs and upkeep. The property was clean and stocked with most items that make a rental comfortable, however the oven was not functional, there were several broken cabinet drawers off hinges etc that could use some attention.
We found a broom but could not located a dust pan. The view and outdoor space were lovely.

Lots of room. Great resort!
We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped. The gas grill & the washer/dryer worked great. We used the kayaks to explore the nearby mangrove forest and watched manatees in the marina from the unit's balcony. The amenities at the resort were wonderful and everyone was super friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Family Trip
We booked this place for our stay while I ran the Islamorada half marathon. It was a nice area and place. Seen manatees in the bay and everyone was friendly. It was a short drive to restaurants and about 30 minutes from my race. Would defiantly stay here again.

2021 Sunrise Escape Vacation
As Floridians, we have been traveling to the Florida keys for 40 years. The property was beautiful, clean, in a great location and perfect for our family and boats, overlooking the marina and view of the ocean. Melanie was a great host and responded promptly to questions. The golf cart is a must. We will be returning.

Great Condo
My family had a great time at this condo. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, and my 2 teens to all have our own space. It’s in a great location. There’s quite a bit that’s just a short bike ride away. The yacht club is pretty spread out so I recommend renting the golf cart. My daughter loved paddle boarding around the lagoon and my son liked to snorkel there. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all that we needed. I would definitely recommend!

I would have recommended this property, however management entered premise 3 times during my 5 day stay. Initially I had given them permission to enter garage and they entered property twice that day. The toilet was determined to be running after they entered so they came back again the next day to fix it. I understand that repairs are sometimes needed but was upset that I wasn't told they were entering BEFORE they did. I chose a vrbo because of covid and felt very uncomfortable with this level of contact. The owner sells real estate and should know better.Additionally, take pictures of everything your first day because we were charged a significant amount for outside missing cushions. We had nothing to do with their disappearance. None of us sat out there and I have no idea if they were ever even present.

Quiet area, beautiful sunrises from the deck, beautiful sunsets from the beach. Fully equipped villa for cooking in, great restaurants in the area. Only way to get to the upper floor are the spiral staircases. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful place to stay. Melanie was always quick to answer any questions. The highlight of our stay was watching the sunset from the kayaks provided for our use. Highly recommend.

Great Property and Views
This vacation property has beautiful views of the marina and ocean. The location is great as you are right by the ocean and cool marina where manitees where hanging out in the morning. Plus you are within walking distance to a couple of nice outdoor dining restaurants (great during COVID times). The lagoon was really fun as the whole family snorkeled it! The property needs some updates such as new pans to cook in and lighting improvements. The lower level had water leakage under the tiles that the property manager was working on getting it fixed (hopefully it will be fixed soon). Overall, we had a great time at this property.

Family VaKeytion
We stayed a week at the property and it worked well for our family of 4 adults and two kids. Great view of the harbor and we even saw manatees in there one day. Two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level with the kitchen and a king bed in the lower bedroom worked well for us. The stairs is a spiral staircase which could be a barrier for older adults or very young children. The property manager Melanie is as wonderful as I’ve ever experienced. She communicated as we needed and answered every question. Much appreciated since we met a tropical storm on arrival. Overall a great property and we love the Keys.

Fabulous Marina & Ocean View Villa
We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Escape. Melanie promptly answered all our questions and provided everything we needed for a relaxing week in Key Largo. The views of the marina and the ocean beyond are amazing. The location is perfect, and with the golf cart, we easily walked or carted all over the resort. The lagoon was my favorite spot and I relished the cool water on the hot summer days. The villa kitchen was fully equiped and we cooked-in or grilled-out most days. We enjoyed lots of quality family time and we are already planning our return trip!

Watch the Boats Sway...
This condo is in a great location and the views are amazing!
From the second floor balcony (which is the main living area) you are over looking the marina and just past that you see the beautiful ocean blues!
This condo exceeded my expectations. The owners took the time to decorate it like a home and you felt that when you walked through the door.
To no fault of the owners, we had a little problem with the air conditioner. Within an hour the repair man was there and had the unit up and running in no time!
Personally, I have stayed other places and was simply told getting a repair person out would take days and we just had to do without! The owners take care of their tenants and return - they just want you to take care of their home.
If you choose this condo - you will not be disappointed and will probably look into booking it again in the future!
