About this apartment rental

**Please be advised that the pool at Santa Maria is currently out of service, and there is no estimated reopening date. Thank you for your understanding.

There’s so much to love about Santa Maria II 301: the convenient location on a canal just a few minutes’ walk to the beach; the complex’s lovingly maintained grounds, which include what some say is Fort Myers Beach’s best pool; the condo’s spacious layout and comfortable furnishings. When you stay here, a fabulous time is all but guaranteed.

A 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit overlooking a marina, Santa Maria II 301 is tailor-made for a family vacation. The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed you’ll love sprawling out on, whether it’s to watch TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, read, or yes, sleep. This room has its own private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom, furnished with a pair of twin beds and another TV, offers plenty of space for the kids to spread out with their toys and games. The 3rd bedroom can sleep 2 more people, in a trundle beneath a daybed and on a sofa that opens into another bed. These bedrooms share the 2nd bathroom, which includes a combination shower/tub. One thing you’ll notice about both bathrooms and all 3 bedrooms is the wealth of storage—you don’t have to live out of a suitcase at Santa Maria II 301.

The spacious, sunny living area is just the sort of place you want to unwind in after a day of swimming, cycling, hiking, or fishing. The leather sectional sofa is so comfortable! There’s more than enough room for everyone to nestle on the couch and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable, play charades, or plan the next day’s adventures. Even if you’re all too tired after your busy day to do much more than read or doze, you can do it together—and isn’t that what a family vacation is all about?

Meals provide more opportunities for family togetherness. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance, but sometimes it’s more fun (and more affordable) to eat in. Besides, having a full kitchen at your disposal is one of the greatest advantages of staying in a condo rather than a hotel. Santa Maria II 301’s kitchen includes all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, even if you’re hosting a Thanksgiving feast.

Santa Maria II 301 has an indoor dining table that seats 6. You can also dine on the unit’s screened-in balcony, which overlooks a canal leading out to Estero Bay. While you sit at the balcony’s table for 4 you can watch boats float past—and maybe you’ll spy some of the friendly dolphins and manatees said to frequent the waters. Because the balcony has its own ceiling fan, you can sit out here with a book and a frosty drink even during the heat of midsummer.

You can also dine alfresco at the condo complex’s grill areas, which feature tables and chairs as well as gas grills. Whether it’s steak from the nearby shop or fish you reeled in yourself, it’ll taste even better when eating outside among the salt-kissed sea breeze. You can walk off your meal with a stroll along the canal docks, where you might see those dolphins and manatees up close. Perhaps the highlight of Santa Maria’s grounds, however, is its heated swimming pool. After your swim, laze on a poolside chaise and let the whispering of the wind through the palm trees lull you to sleep. Just be sure to apply your sunscreen before you drift off!

Given that Santa Maria is less than a 5-minute walk to the pristine white beach and the turquoise Gulf of Mexico, you might run out of time to spend by the pool. At the beach you can swim, paddleboard, parasail, canoe, kayak, race jet skis, collect seashells, and watch some truly spectacular sunsets.

Also close by are Lovers Key State Park, golf courses, the island’s Times Square area… the list goes on and on. One thing’s for sure: When you stay at Santa Maria II 301, you’ll never be bored. Book your stay today and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

I had envisioned a care free stay, but that is not what we received. The code did not work to get in (and it was pouring out) after many phone calls, someone came to open the door about 2 hours later. We then only had 1 key, We needed more. The Maintenace guy did not have any ID or name tag. When he came to get the key to make copies. The air did not work well, never got below 75 in the bedrooms. The water smelled terrible!!! We had to go buy gallons of water to drink, cook with and bath in, we did not get a response on that for a few days. We had to run the water for about 20 minutes, during this time we had to go outside as it smelled so bad. It did clear it up. I did read the message about the limit they provide of TB/papertowels, but I thought they would have more than a 1/2 of roll available. I dont know if it has been a while since they rented, but the floor was dirty, we all had black feet, dust on dressers. We were glad to enjoy and support the community on the rebuilding of the community. But would not rent from them again.

Very nice complex just across the street from the beach. Worth the 10 minute walk to have such a spacious condo. It was very clean and had most everything we needed, but I would say the pots and pans could use some updating! Probably most people just visit the great restaurants in the plaza next door. Also, kind of odd that there aren’t more beach towels. We were driving so we brought our own. The pool was pretty spacious (although a little too warm as Florida pools tend to be in the summer) and we enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were plentiful and comfortable, there are no blackout curtains in the main bedrooms so they get very bright and warm in the mornings, but that makes for a beautiful evening on the screened in patio! Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to friends.

Condo was perfect for 6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, dishes etc. Location next to plaza was great, there's about four restaurants in the plaza.

This condo had not been cleaned. There are fur balls all over. My great granddaughter came to visit. So disgusting. Televisions sucked. Such a shame. I’m at least hoping the sheets were cleaned before our arrival. Total bust. I have tons of photos.

Overall, very good. Property was clean and as advertised. Location is terrific if you prefer a more quiet location. Several restaurants within walking distance and the beach is close by. Pool is nice as well. Be sure to stop at the store on your way to the condo as very few essentials are provided.
