This was our second ( and not last) stay at this property! Perfect location for us to visit our son! Quiet, comfy beds and perfect neighborhood!

Was a great stay, quiet friendly neighbors

Older property in walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and the Katy trail and small parks. Plenty of towels, comfy bed, and good lighting. Parking in back a plus. Friendly neighbors. Dogs welcome, bring all dog supplies. New door mats will be a plus.

A charming spot, all the great amenities (located right behind the former Miss Aimee B's if you're familiar with St. Charles history). I will happily book again! The host is very communicative and helpful. Bathroom is on first floor, bedrooms on the second, fyi.

This place was great. They put up a tree for us since we were going to be there over Christmas. There were 5 of us, 2 in each bedroom and 1 on the couch. The couch has a piece that pulls out from underneath it to make a full size bed. They have linens for that bed in the laundry room. The two upstairs beds were comfortable and the pillows were good. The living room had two couches and 2 chairs so there was plenty of places to sit. The dining room was larger than it appeared in the pictures so that was nice. The kitchen had what we needed. We were not there for many meals. The bathroom was good. It has a washer and dryer and detergent. So we were able to do a load of laundry. The shower has body wash, shampoo and conditioner. That was really nice, not to have to bring our own. There isn't room on the sink to place things put there is the top of the dryer so a lot of our personal items went there and it was close to the sink so that was fine. It is almost exactly a half mile to walk down Jackson street to Main street St.Charles. The young adults walked and us older adults were able to just park around 3rd street and walk the last bit. It is uphill the walk back so keep that in mind when you decide which to do!! There are a lot of shops, restaurants and bars on the main street. We only made it once since we were there to visit relatives. But it is entirely worth checking out. I would highly recommend this VRBO and would stay here again!

We came to stay the week and watch our son play football. Perfect space for us and his pup that came along to visit. Close to Lindenwood and Old Main street for our daily walks. Kitchen had had all our needs. The leaves were beautiful when we were there. Location was perfect. We will be booking again each year!

We enjoyed our stay at the house with our grandson .

This charming home was the perfect place for us. It was close enough to history downtown but far enough away to escape busy tourists that frequent Main Street. It was an easy 10-12 minute walk to Main Street, but also with reasonable walking distance to the local grocery store.
Rachel was quick to respond to texts and all my questions we had prior to the visit and as we settled in.
I highly recommend this VRBO. I will book again the next time I come home.🙂

We have stayed in St. Charles several times and this is by far one my favorites! Rachel’s place is impeccably clean, lots of space and decorated to make you feel at home. The house has historic charm with the brick walls and high ceilings. The bathroom is spacious and was super clean! The kitchen has everything you need and we loved the back yard space. This cute house was in walking distance to The Crooked Tree cafe as well as Main Street. Would definitely love to stay here again for our next visit. Highly recommended!

Property is everything you could ask for. Great location (proximity to Main Street and Lindenwood campus), clean, tons of seating in the living room and dining room, very quiet. Loved the exposed brick and high ceilings. Would definitely choose to stay here in the future.

My husband and I found the home to be VERY clean, comfortable and inviting. The home was remodeled in a beautiful way, yet still reflected the time period from which it originated. We appreciated being in an area where my husband grew up! And...it was wonderful to be able to walk to so many places. We look forward to another trip to St. Charles and staying in the home again. Thank you so very much!

This trip was our 15 year / Thanksgiving celebration, this little rental was a perfect selection. It reminded us of our first home together, so it made it even more special. Got a little tight on space by the end of our 5 days but that was to be expected! Wifi worked great and everything was very inviting.

I planned a weekend shopping (and eating) trip with my sisters. this house was perfect on a nice quiet street. We all had separate beds to sleep and liked having a kitchen. Our only complaint was the lighting outside the front door needed to be brighter. When you came back after dark, it was hard to see to the lock. Especially that first night putting in the code to retrieve the key. Totally minor as we would rent this house again.

We were in St. Charles as vendors for Oktoberfest in Frontier Park. There is also no off street parking and we had to park a block away the first night we were there. We had planned to be able to walk to and from the park however, it was quite a bit farther away than we were told. I specifically asked about that as it was the main reason for staying in St. Charles instead of somewhere else. We had brought food to cook to save on eating out but there was limited cookware--one very small pot and no skillet. Be aware that the bathroom is on the first level and the bedrooms on second level. We ended up sleeping downstairs due to that. The place was cute and quaint and very clean.

We loved our stay at this vrbo! The A/C unit upstairs really made our stay comfortable. A dishwasher and washer/dryer was so convenient as well. Loved the historic charm with the modern touches.

We were back and forth to the hospital quite a bit. Doctors were happy that we would be near in case of complications or emergency. We loved the place! Can't wait to stay again.

Great property close to downtown St. Charles. Pros: The house was tidy and quaint. Neighborhood was quiet. Everything as described in posting. Walking distance from a great coffee shop (crooked tree coffeehouse). Cons: Only street parking but wasn’t a problem during our stay. Only one bathroom that doubles as the laundry room.

wonderful place if you don't have an issue with stairs. It was perfect for us, comfortable and welcoming. Loved the neighborhood and did get to the corner tavern for a great hamburger and a few beers.

Seminary Graduation
This place was in a great location. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The only thing is the thermostat temp is preprogrammed so the air would drop down to 68 when we weren't there and 65 overnight. We would just adjust it higher when we were there.

Nice cozy home
It was a nice clean little place. This location is about 1/2 mile from the historic Main St. which was fine. We could walk/jog downtown or we drove and parked public parking. The bedrooms are up some pretty steep stairs which could be difficult for some. It wasn’t a problem for any of us. We enjoyed the board games, TV, full kitchen and the comfy couch. The beds were also comfortable.

Great space!
We enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space for 3 people and was very nice inside and out. Good location, and easy to get everywhere. Thanks for everything!

Neighborhood was quiet and the older homes were charming. Close to historic district.
Was overall pleased with property, only one bathroom and the shower was tricky. The back porch light was broken and made it hard to use the large backyard since weather was so nice.
