Rouland was very friendly and hospitable. Very peaceful and quiet. Wonderful sunset views.

The French Polynesian breakfast was postcard perfect. The host was excellent and accommodating. Picked us up in Papeete for the 20 or 30 minute drive to the bungalow for a modest fee.
The geckos added charm, fear not!

the location and Roland, absolutely perfect
the place wasn’t super clean (an open juice in the fridge for example) and even if Roland was really nice preparing our breakfast at 7 am (when he normally prepares it later) when we came back to the house at 6pm the leftovers of the breakfast were still there (and therefore all the ants and mosquitoes!)

Quite simply exceptional. Roland made me feel instantly at home in what was my home for 9 days. Lovely breakfasts each morning (the finest mangos you could ever hope to have) matched only by the view of Moorea and the warmth and generosity of my host Roland and his wife. I can't wait to return,

This place was a total dream. I’ve heard some visitors to the islands say to skip Tahiti but they must not have stayed at this slice of Eden. Moenau and Roland were fantastically generous hosts and the bungalow was lovely, right on the crystal clear water with a fabulous view of Moorea. The bungalow is totally equipped and you can even take out paddle boards and kayaks onto the reef. The location was great too—walkable conveniences like restaurants, stores, groceries, a pharmacy, and a bank. Definitely rent a car so you can head south from their place and hit the mythical coastline along the water to Papara. Would 100% stay here again and wished I had stayed for more than three nights.

The setting was beautiful, the hosts gracious, the delicious breakfasts and just the right amount of privacy. Close to food options, bus transportation and secure private setting. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely everything, Roland was a great host, accommodation beautifully clean, view was amazing. Supermarket and food truck restaurants nearby had good food.

The fare was beautifully built and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning served on our balcony overlooking the ocean was different every morning with a selection of fresh fruit and cheese, meat and jam.
Great snorkelling right below our fare, we could use a paddleboard and kayak, and one of the dogs often joined us for a swim. After water activities the best shower to rinse off the salt water. Our friendly host Roland picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the airport for free, he organised a perfect (new) rental car that was cheaper per day than the very old scooter we hired in Moorea a few days before and went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and make our stay enjoyable. There is a good supermarket nearby and a tasty take-away pizza place right accross the road.
We had an on/off relationship with the Internet. However, when it did not work in the fare, we could connect in our host's garden.
