House was in need of a deep clean, one of the bathroom sinks clearly hadn't been cleaned and there was debris and dead fly on windowsill and flaky paint on one of the bedroom carpets. Showers temperamental and beds quite soft. Could do with more comfortable seating in lounge area. Location good for town centre

Ideal for walking to the shops , catching the bus , the market & sea front. Easy to park on a nearby street. We didn't like the noise from cars accelerating outside the property despite being in a 30mph zone - they need a speed camera!

Nice house, just a bit difficult for my husband who has Parkinson's. The strip across the floor in the lounge area was a trip hazard, also step into kitchen diner. Also he had trouble with the family bathroom on first floor.
Could have done with some more kitchen knives and a corkscrew. Also another oven tray and a large saucepan would have been useful. Other than these small issues we had a good holiday, position in Sheringham very good. I think you should say not really suitable for disabled people though.

Flintrock House is good for accommodating large groups with plenty of bathrooms and toilets. Plus points are location, cleanliness, reasonably well equipped and good WiFi/TV provision. Slight negatives are lack of outside space, there was a small leak from the roof in the kitchen when we had a heavy thunderstorm, bins are only collected every alternate week which is not enough, bearing in mind how many it sleeps. Some of the beds are very soft, some of furniture in the living area is not very comfortable

This holiday home has the potential to be lovely. Location is good and the house is spacious but it needs updating and painting and a good deep clean. The decor and furniture is comfortable but again, needs refreshing. This was one of three houses I rented for a large family holiday and it was in poor condition compared to the others, also rented from Keys.

A great base for a family holiday, The house is spacious and has all the facilities necessary for a large family or group to co-exist on holiday together ie 5 lavatories. The location could not be better with all amenities and attractions in Sheringham within a short walk.

The house is spread over 3 floors so plenty of room. Spacious kitchen, a great social hub with lots of equipment.
Comfortable bedrooms, lots of hanging space and storage. Lots of bathrooms so no Q’s for the loo!
No outdoor space but not a problem due to location, plenty of quite spots close by to sit and read a book etc.
On street parking close by or a short walk ( 2 minutes) to station parking.
Highly recommend

great week in Flintrock
well positioned and equipped cottage the lack of an garden not an issue, great fish and chips nearby and shops seconds away.Didnt use the car for the whole week as beaches and loads of things to do on your doorstep .No real critique except that perhaps owner could replace electric showers when updating.

5 retired men on a walking break
Stayed in Sheringham for a walking break and had a good stay at Flintrock House. Very comfortable accommodation for 5, as we all like our own rooms, plus 3 en-suite and a bathroom shared by 2, and a separate loo downstairs. Spacious property.
Had good walks in the area in conjunction with the bus pass. Enjoyable pubs in town, 2 Lifeboats our choice.
Property let down by lack of essentials. No dishwasher tablets or tea towels! Otherwise a great stay.
Note to owners: for the sake of £10, provision of some fresh tea, coffee, milk and dishwasher tablets would have improved our view of the property immensely. (Savers sell 10tablets for £1).

Great location. House was clean and spacious. Would recommend to others. A few details need to be considered such as proving blankets and shower and soap.

Brilliant house
The house was in a fantastic location near shops, cafes and beach, but still quiet. There was so much space for us all. The house is even better than the photos.

Norfolk coast trip
A great, spacious, house with all the necessary comforts and equipment to cater for a large group. Really good location for visiting the Norfolk coast.
No parking outside the house but lots of free spaces in nearby roads within 2 or 3 minutes of walking. We had multiple cars and it was never a problem to find places to park!
I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Flintrock House
We all really enjoyed our stay in Flintrock House. We have stayed in Sheringham many times and this accommodation was ideal for two families. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The location is excellent and we will be booking again next year.

We had a lovely stay at Flintrock House .
The house was big enough for our family off 6 ,bed's were very comfortable ,the property was clean, would have been nice if we could have maybe got in a little sooner than 4pm ,just a couple of little bug bears for me was that we could have done with a bigger toaster and a couple of baking trays for the oven also maybe some where at the front to sit out would be nice too, but overall we had a lovely stay in the property and Sheringham is a lovely place to stay.

Very comfortable house, just right for families.
Easy walk to the sea and town centre.
Lots to see in the area.
The central heating was very welcome as the temperature dropped considerably with the rain.
Throughly enjoyable holiday.

Family holiday home
The layout of the house was very good, although the stairs are steep it was not a problem for us. Plenty of space for the whole family( 4 adults, 2 teens,1 child). Beds all were comfortable and the rooms were all spacious. Layout with 3 of 5 bed rooms having en-suite was really good. Location to all of Sheringham's amenities was perfect. 10 minutes max to the beach - 5 minutes to shops. All the family loved it and we are already booked for next year.

A lovely house, well equipped, beautiful Sheringham weather we are so lucky every time we visit.
We would certainly book flint rock again, the only criticism I would have are the pillows, we would have struggled if all the party were at the house at the same time.

Stayed with my husband, daughter, her partner and three grandchildren (11,11 & 14)
We had mixed weather so managed some beach days and some going out. We know Sheringham well so being there just after lockdown was lifted was not an issue though we did find it hard to get meal bookings for 7 during the cut price eating days. Also having to book for everything made it awkward as we wanted to enjoy as much time on the beach in any good weather as we could. We ate at; The Crown, The Lobster, The Dunstable Arms, the Starfish cafe, We had take away from; The Loutus House chinese and the Fish & Chip shop in church Street (near the house). All were excellent with good size portions and a good variety - important when you have 2 vegetarians, one person with dairy allergy & one picky eater! We also had dressed crabs and pate from C A Seafoods (what was Scotters), again very good. The house comfortably accommodated our mixed age group and there was plenty of room & although the back bedroom is a little quirky we enjoyed it. Hot water was plentiful and we had no issues with pressure even to the top floor. The washer/dryer is a little complex but the manual provided helped and we conquered it. Plenty of plates, cups, pans etc were provided. Also good storage in the pantry and cupboards. The microwave is basic but works ok. A bigger toaster would have been nice but not essential. Ovens, hob etc all in working order. TV has BT TV but we don't tend to use it much when away so couldn't really say if that was good or bad. You can load and unload outside (double yellow lines) and we had no problem finding street parking nearby. We visited Blickling Hall and Muckleburgh Tank Museum and both were good value, the cafe at Muckleburgh was very good. We went to Langham Glass and enjoyed the demonstration and making tealight holders.

Flintrock House, Sheringham.
We were a family group of five adults and a baby. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us to use. The living space was spacious and we knew ahead of time that there was no garden or any outdoor space with the house. This was not a problem because the house was located only a few minutes walk from the beach. It was also very close to the centre of town making it a very convenient location. We all had a wonderful stay at Flintrock House.
