er viel weinig tot niets tegen

Breakfast orders were what we ordered. The staff went out of their way to go and buy marmalade (and very nice it was too). Even the dogs got a sausage. very good coffee
The bathroom was not very clean, and it was cramped. The room could have done with a good dust. But it is a country location and the location was just what we wanted

The room and bathroom are done really nicely. I needed to change my date and the hotel were accommodating to that.
The bathroom wasn’t cleaned except for an ocean of bleach thrown down a dirty toilet, no toilet roll, water glasses were dirty and had clearly just been rinsed out from the previous guests. Went down at about 7:30 pm for a drink and the pub was in darkness and locked up, I hadn’t expected that. It’s a shame as it could be lovely with a bit more care and cleaning.

Excellent cooked breakfast in diner with plenty of room.

Bedroom was small but comfy, the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is small but manageable. Bathroom was dirty, the shower mat was very dirty.

We were actually put in the sister hotel. We ate at the queen Catherine & the roast dinner was amazing
Tv didn’t work

No one turned up to cook breakfast, we were moved from the hotel we booked into the Three Tuns due to “refurbishing “.

Staff very friendly especially the tall blonde girl think her name was tina and couldn’t help enough
Great location with plenty of walks

What a wonderful hotel rooms lovely, food fantastic and a wonderful village in Yorkshire.

Not alot
The cleanliness. The food and the staff.
3.8
The food and the area. The two young ladys who served in the Queen Catherine and the Three Tuns.
The cocky attitude of the chef/maintenance man. And his suggestion of special mushrooms and other guests wives.
The fact the front door was locked at8 without been told. Only exit was a fire escape into a graveyard with 6inch of grass to wade through. And the fire exit been held open with 6 beer mats.
Was not worth 120 pounds. For just a roof for the night

Staff were lovely - very helpful and welcoming.
It would have been nice to have had cereal for breakfast.
3.8
location, breakfast, pillows , decor and staff
metal frame bed far too noisy with the slightest movement, no bin in the room, could do with another bedside table

We love this hotel! This is our 3rd stay, twice at the Three Tuns, once at the Queen Catherine. Both are great. Lovely warm room in the Three Tuns with quality furniture and accessories. Great breakfast as always and lovely bar meals available in both hotels.
We never stay for.long enough!

Convenient for arranged meeting with walking group
Very small room main heating not on small plug in radiator provided. Kettle had to go on floor to reach a plug, weak shower, toilet had problems, water level rising to top.Had to go across the road to sister hotel for breakfast.
3.8
The staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. The restaurant for evening meal and breakfast was very good with ample choice and quantity. Overall, it was very good value for money
Due to the age and layout of the building, ensuite facilities had been squeezed into the rooms and were really small. Our toilet had recently been replaced, but the wall behind the new cistern had not been made good. The shower temperature was really difficult to regulate and was scalding hot. There was a warning sign. Generally, the room needed a good clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff that went the extra mile to please. Excellent service and excellent home made food to high standard.
Leaving.

Location.
Staff attitude. Management was careless. Customer service was non existent. Rooms were cramped. Breakfast was poor e.g. no cereal. Her reply to that was " no we ran out of cereal YESTERDAY: Replace the management team would be a good place to start. Waste of a fabulous business. We walked the Cleveland Way staying along the route at various establishments from farms to 4* hotels. The Queen Catherine was BY FAR the worst.

Great location, friendly staff and the food was good in the bar.
The rooms where not clean and the bathrooms were horrible. The single room was next to a church which rolled bells every 15 mins. The staff weee friendly but very inexperienced. No sign of the owners.
