Staff lovely, lots of space and lovely location, the village nearby had several lovely pubs and was really pretty. We were two mother with children so the pool table and games were welcome. Such great value
Nothing really

Very clean and cosy hostel in a great location. Welcoming and helpful staff. We arrived on a really wet afternoon after walking the Cleveland Way and were allowed in to the lounge to get warm and dry our extremely wet clothes in the drying room.
It would be nice to be provided with a towel. As we were walking and carrying our own gear, carrying wet towels is too heavy!

The staff were lovely and the shared facilities (living area and kitchen) were comfortable and well equipped.
The room was very small and noisy being directly above the kitchen.

Great location off the Cleveland Way. The hostel looked like it had been renovated and everything seemed new and comfortable. Small lounge was nice and allowed us to watch the football in the evening.
Nothing really.

This was a really lovely youth hostel situated beside a lovely waterfall. We had our own private facilities with no need to book shower slots and plentiful electric plugs and night lights. The staff were outstanding, keeping our dinners warm until we arrived (late) and staying on beyond closing hours to make sure we had everything we needed. They showed real compassion to an exhausted family of walkers. And the drying room was fab!

Very clean. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. Couldn't be in a better location. Could have happily stayed and extra couple of days.
No negatives regarding the stay.

The location was lovely, perfectly located for the beginning of the Lyke Wake Walk and also a short walk from Osmotherly village.
Everything was good.

YHA Osmotherley is in a perfect spot for walking in the North York Moors. It's an easy walk from the village with pubs, shops etc. We had a 6 bed ensuite room for our family which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner, which were both good and it helpful to have the food service available.
Only two downsides. Firstly, sound carries very easily from downstairs and other rooms so the room was noisy when other guests were. Secondly, the room was pretty expensive especially given breakfast was not included.
