An absolute treasure, highly recommended.

This place was an absolute gem. We had the most marvellous time in this hidden treasure in the heart of the old town. The place was much more spacious than we anticipated and beautifully appointed.

Fantastic property & would definitely stay here again.

Situated in old town, very close to restaurants & bar but in a quiet street. loved the courtyard to chill in.

Nothing at all- it is an old property with great features and floors do creak & some doorways are low but not an issue.

Lovely house in the center of the old town

We had an excellent stay. The house was perfect for our family and the location couldn't be any better. We will definitely return.

Location

The location was fantastic! We walked from our taxi into the walled city when we first got there, not knowing exactly where to go. As soon as we got into the city area, the owner was waiting for us and the apartment was right there at easy reach. We could not get a better location with it also being close to all the attractions. The owner Nikitas was very good and professional and explained everything very well. The actual accommodation was very in character of Rhodes Old Town and was very characterful! At the end of our stay, we were able to leave our luggage at the restaurant around the corner, until it was time for us to leave.

There was no oven, so cooking food was limited. The archway into the kitchen and doorway into the garden was very low and my husband who is bald, kept banging his head. Although my son who is taller did not, so it all depends on whether you are able to remember to bend down! Heightening these low entrances would only take away the character of the accommodation though.

Exceptional

This house is beautiful and in a super convenient area. Even though it is very close to the old town gate, and a busy street, it was quiet at night. The house is spacious and exudes old warm charm with all the modern conveniences you might need. The owner was extraordinarily kind and set up a taxi transfer for us to and from the airport. He is very responsive and helpful. The air conditioning worked great as did the washing machine. It was a lovely experience. Not a complaint but do be aware this is a historic house, beautifully updated, but with some historic quirks. The doorways are low and the upstairs wooden floors creak a bit. There is not a ton of natural light. We found the experience of staying in the old town to be well worth the minor inconvenience of ducking our heads. You will not regret staying here.

The property is in a great & convenient location in Rodos Town but also close to the New Town

The host Nikitas was very helpful & communication was excellent

Rustic Self Inn has a complaints form & box. We had no complaints but I think it should be referred to as feedback not complaints

Perfect accommodation in perfect location

We had the fortunate opportunity to visit Old Town Rhodes and stay at the Rustic Self Inn. The large, perfectly located apartment sleeps 6 and has everything you need. It is equipped for you to be self sufficient, or you can walk anywhere you want, old or new town for restaurants, shopping, drinks, or the harbour. Nik has a travel agency in old town and arranged everything perfectly for us. He had a taxi pick us up from the airport and drop us right in front of the apts walkway. The apt itself is very charming, especially if you appreciate the historical value of staying in old town. There are three bedrooms, two sitting rooms, a kitchen, and a lovely outside, enclosed patio. A plus for us was the washing machine as we were on a 19-day trip. Fully recommend and thank Nik for his hospitality.

There was nothing we did not like.

Absolutely perfect!

We loved everything of our stay here - we were a group of 5. Very nice house located in the heart of the medieval city, very close to lots of restaurants and bars and 15 mins from the tourist port by foot. The breakfast is arranged with a restaurant 20 meters away, very good. The house is super clean, very well equipped and very cozy. Nikitas, the owner, is very welcoming and available if you need any help or advice.

Exceptional

The accommodation is nice and spacious. We had all the facilities we needed; we had a full kitchen, which also had a washing machine and great air conditioning. The Traditional Greek interior downstairs was stunning to look at, and paired with the classic stone arches, gave the whole place a great authentic feel. There was a fast Internet connection through out the whole house and we never encountered a problem during our stay. The inn’s located right in the old city of Rhodes which made it really convenient for us to explore the old town and taste the authentic Greek Cuisine. It was only a 10 minute walk to the windmills of Mandraki and the two famous Rhodian deer sculptures which are the signature attractions of the island. Breakfast is included, just a small walk from your door to the first local restaurant on your right. The owner was very nice and friendly to us and gave us a good map of the island as well as of the old city. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking for a great getaway to Rhodes.

Amazing House in Rhodes old Town.

The pictures don’t do this amazing house justice. It has everything for a very comfortable stay in the picture perfect Old Town of Rhodes. The owner was extremely helpful and even showed me where to park free of charge and I had no problem finding parking everyday.
