Nice location close to town. Clean and spacious enough for 2 the families we had stay.
Great views and loved the hot tub at night. Can see so many stars from the back deck.
Andrew was very easy to work with and accommodating!

Fantastic house, very well laid out and much more spacious than expected. The house is very clean and everything is quite new and well kept. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make & eat the food you bring. The hosts are very helpful & thoughtful with the things they leave around the house for you, for example there’s little laminated cards in a few places with the WiFi password.

My family came to Leadville for the race series. This property is just outside of town, but it was an easy walk/jog to the start. The property managers were responsive and the house was very clean/well-equipped. We have two young kids that loved the bunk beds! We would stay again for sure, many thanks!

This property was the perfect stay. The only possible complaint is the beds. They are not very comfortable. I would still definitely come back.

Thia was a nice and clean house. It was so close to ski cooper and the town of leadville which was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the hottub after skiing all day! We had some trouble checking in but the host Tracy was super helpful and quick to respond. We totally recommend this place! Especially for families!

The location of this house was challenging, especially if you're going to ski. Assuming there is some snow in ski season, getting in/out of this property is hard, and it's much more like 30-40 minutes to ski at Copper (not 15 like the title suggests). You have to shovel the driveway each morning, it only gets plowed in the afternoon which isn't especially helpful.
Beyond that, the kitchen is completely bare-boned. There is almost nothing supply-wise. Don't expect tin foil, baggies, or plastic wrap. The guest bathroom shower also had mold on the shower curtain.

Needed a home base for skiing. This was it

Perfect for what we needed. The house was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a hit for the kiddos. It was missing a dustpan for sweeping up crumbs. Also, the breakers randomly flipped when using the kitchen lights or microwave. The house is in a great location for multiple fishing lakes and close to Leadville itself. Overall, we are super happy with our stay.

Our family was in Leadville for the Colorado High School Bike League competition at the Mountain College campus
and appreciated the proximity of the house to the campus. The house was well appointed and completely suited our needs.

Pros: Its a great area next to the town and everything out doors. Leadville is absolutely amazing. The view is to die for!! Beautiful property. New housing area, and the price was on point. Didnt hear a peep from the neighbors. Grill, hot tub, big table for the whole family! Good porch for looking at the stars. They have shampoo and conditioner like hotels do which was nice. Crazy amounts of trails, ponds, and river access very close to property. Ive been to many cities in colorado and leadville is by far my favorite!
Cons: construction everywhere(for the new housing area). Sun up to sun down. My brother and his wife didnt sleep well because of noise. Trash can outside was full when we got there. Im from Missouri and we dont have bears, so not going to lie... that kinda freaked me out. Lol. Also pretty inconvenient for us. Beds squeak if you move an inch. The hosts husband came to do some maintenance on property didnt text, message on app, or call to tell me. That really bothered me. I dont care if they need to do some maintaining on the hot tube or whatever, just let me know so i dont have a heart attack when i see a stranger on the back porch.
Side note: Scarlett traven, bar in town, has a happy hour throughout the week.
Amazing and affordable thrift store.
Different museums in town and ghost town/mining ruins for free.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 5 nights with our two pups. We’ve stayed in Leadville at different locations multiple times over the past few years, and this has been the best so far!
The house is well laid out, and the master bedroom and bathroom were large. The master has a king bed, and was extremely comfortable.
The kitchen is well stocked for cooking all meals. There is a large propane bbq on the back deck with plenty of propane and a spare bottle.
There is a new hot tub on the back deck. We did not use it just bc it was abnormally warm the week we visited. But it looked clean and the water was clear.
There were two other bedrooms and each had a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on the top. We didn’t use these rooms, but were nicely appointed.
The driveway has room for 2 vehicles. And there is also parking in front of the house.
We had a wonderful stay, and are looking forward to returning next year.

Overall the property is very inviting and nice for families. The hot tub and washer/drier are nice extras when traveling. Kitchen is well stocked and the house is clean. Also a plus that it is dog friendly!
Communication with the property managers could definitely be improved. Overall poor experience there.
The house also has a lot of spiders (we stayed two nights and had probably 6 visitors per day), which is likely related to the location of the property, but if you are spider-adverse, this might not be the right stay for you.
Construction is also going on right now directly across the street.
Overall experience 4/5

We had a great stay at Delwyn House! The house was comfortable and offered all the amenities - hot tub, kitchen appliances, plenty of towels, and space for working. There is construction happening around the neighborhood but we didn’t hear anything during the day which was nice. The location is great- we were able to take our pup for walks around the neighborhood loop or bop into town in 2 minutes. The views from the hot tub were a pleasant surprise. Andrew was incredibly responsive and communicative. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room to enjoy ourselves, a big gorgeous table to enjoy meals at, and the views! Stunning views! Leadville have loads of beautiful hikes to go on and a laid back feel that other ultra touristy mountain towns don't have. The house had everything we needed - the hot tub was a favorite all around! The heat wasn't working early in our stay but the property managers were extremely on top of it and had it fixed in no time. Thank you again!

The property was wonderful and worked perfect for our stay to visit family. Big enough that we could host dinner. The best part was the amazing property manager who went above to make sure our stay was perfect. From our flight getting in early unexpectedly, she made sure to keep us up to date with the soonest the house was ready, to working with us for a late checkout so what we could enjoy the property and hot tub just a bit longer before getting to our red eye flight.

Our group of 5 kids and 3 adults had a fantastic Spring Break in Leadville.
The sleeping accommodations were perfect and we really appreciated the blow up mattress to help our teens spread out a bit!
The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and plenty of dishes. And the table fit all of us, no problem!
The hot tub was a special treat in the evenings after sledding and skiing nearby. Great for sore muscles.
We would definitely recommend the Delwyn house to anyone and may try to visit again in the future!

Everything was great! The beds were comfy, the kitchen/living space was perfect for socializing and the table fit all of us for some pizza! The hottub was awesome for soaking and having great girl talk! There were plenty of towels and things to accommodate us! (Recommend some more towel hooks to hang them up!) thank you!!!

This is the second time we’ve rented this house, and we would rent it again. The house is clean and perfect for us and our family. Close to downtown and Ski Cooper. It is just as the pictures show. Thank you for another wonderful trip to Leadville!

This was our second stay and it was great. Lots of space for our group of 8 plus our medium sized dog. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is stocked and the hot tub was ready to go. Only thing I would add is done hooks on doors for wet towels and mirrors in the smaller bed rooms. The house is well kept with access to laundry and anything else needed for your stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in Leadville. The home was the perfect size for our family of 6. I loved the gas fireplace, the furniture was comfortable, the large dining table was a huge plus when we built gingerbread houses. The kitchen had all cooking items needed. We did bring extra paper towels and toilet paper which I’d recommend to others. The only drawback we had were the towels were very rough. Overall our stay was perfect!

Wife and I honeymooned in Leadville back in ‘06 and enjoyed riding Ski Cooper then and for a few years after. Life and kids happened and never made it back up until now and this property was perfect. Kids had one end of the house and we all enjoyed the open kitchen, living, dining space for games, dinner and hang out sessions, the hot tub was great after a long day riding and the views of the 14ers were incredible!!! Would definitely come back for more Leadville/Cooper time!

Home was exactly as listed, easy to find, clean, well stocked with kitchen spices and cooking utensils which is unusual, and was exactly what our family needed. Very happy with property, it made our stay wonderful.

The location of the house provides a spectacular view of the Rockies! Several trails within short walking distance, as well as only 3 mile drive to Mount Sherman! Awesome Hike!

I have used VRBO for years, and stayed in many different houses. The Delwyn House was among the cleanest houses I have ever stayed in. It was easy to find, off of the main road, and the neighbor hood was quiet. The layout of the house worked great for our family. This house is the only one we've used that was actually better than the pictures.

Great property! Plenty of room for two families for the weekend.
4.0 / 5.0
We enjoyed the place and location, super cute and convenient. Wasn’t a fan that there weren’t basic condiments like pepper at the house. Usually you can find that kind of stuff at Vrbo’s. Also not a huge fan of having to do much at all in terms of the cleaning process at these kind of stays given that there’s always a cleaning fee associated that you’re already paying for. But other than that it was a great place.

Wonderful house in a great location. Would definitely stay there again
