This was a great place to enjoy fishing and relaxing. Access to the water was easy with plenty of seating and lots of shade.

In all it was a clean, nice place. Where the issue stands is that it stated this had a private dock- it should also state it is NOT boat friendly because most if not all docks here have a step down/boarding area for entry and exit for a boat. This made it an absolute
nightmare for a 76 year old grandpa and a 4 year old child to try to fish a tournament with me. We are talking a 5-6ft drop to get in and out of the boat at low tide. Plans had to change multiple times because of this. Another issue which should be addressed ASAP is the outside fish cleaning table water faucet is "hot", meaning there is some sort of electrical short somewhere and you will get shocked when you touch it. There was no hose for it, luckily I had a small one with me. Other than these few but serious problems, it was a nice place and we made it work.

The home was clean, any issues were dealt with right away. I do think it’s poor policy That Vacasa has for using a 10 digit entry code and changing it every 30 days for long term rentals. They gave us the wrong code and we were locked out of our rental 2nd month in on a cold day. 4 digit code would be sufficient and no need to change for long term rentals that are entirely paid for in advance.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was super clean on arrival and they had all the supplies we could need - from shampoo, soap to pots and pans and all in between. The view from the upper and lower decks was great. We enjoyed the quiet nights out there. It was a great view to see the nightly fireworks during they have during the summer. We would book here again.

Place was awesome. House was very clean. Neighborhood was quiet. Breakfast on the deck in the mornings could not get any better. The only bad was the sheets on the bed. Not soft at all kinda felt like sleeping on notebook paper. Better sheets and i would have gave 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was convenient. The reason for less than 5 stars? Just minor inconveniences like no blow dryer anywhere to be found, the dirty towels from the previous inhabitants were still in the hamper, empty soap dispensers, and it would have been nice to have a few spices in the cabinet (especially salt and pepper). Like I said, these were minor compared to the stay.
To be fair, they did contact me as soon as I mentioned the dirty towels and soap dispenser issues but, we were out and about exploring the island and missed them when they came by to address the issues.
All-in-all it was a great stay and the issues did not deter us from enjoying our time.

The house was very clean and just the right size for our family. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the water; and even saw a dolphin one evening! One downfall is there aren't any "extras" at the property; ie. coffee/filters, laundry detergent/softener, beach towels, cooler, fishing poles, beach chairs, etc. These would be nice to offer. We also didn't have any communication with the property manager (just the resort staff). We reached out twice; once for the internet password and again when the water wasn't working. Luckily we found the internet info and the water came back on after a few hours, but it was frustrating that no one reached out to us. Overall it was a nice stay and the location/home is great. Thank you.

Nice central location
Ernesto made it really simple, we were coming in later so he had everything ready and open. House was great and exactly what we were hoping. Fishing and relaxing was the goal and we accomplished that. Caught some decent small specks, landed a 25 inch snook which was on first cast. The only knock I would say or just really it was annoying, was the boaters who pretty much make it clear you are not a local. That’s annoying but being we also get annoyed in our home bay system if the same I can’t really make a big deal about that. The people are always amazing in port Isabel. Always a great time when we come down. First time in Ernesto’s home and we would gladly do it again.

The house was clean updated and comfortable. This gated community was very safe. The deck and boat dock was beautiful. The sunrise and sunsets we amazing. We had all our meals on the patio.

Overall good stay. House was nice and comfortable. Only issues with the booking were that the wifi didn’t work for us once and we had horrible communication with the Vacasa representative. We had multiple questions that we messaged and called about weeks before the booking, but didn’t get responses for 2 weeks. Other than that it was a good experience.

Great couples getaway
We absolutely loved our stay. Loved being on the water. Very clean place. It had all of the kitchen necessities. We had a great time going to the beach, golfing, going to the pool and even laying around the condo. The pups enjoyed their time as well. We will be back!
